Beachfront holiday rental in Funchal

Mariela is a very friendly and eager host. She was really always super quick to reach. The apartment is beautiful and there is everything you need. Very clean and the intermediate cleaning was also great. We can only recommend the property.

We absolutely loved being right on the ocean! It was within feet of the house!- with the waves crashing and the patio where we ate all our meals, provided an excellent ambiance for our trip. We stayed 6 nights and were so glad we didn’t move around to other places. The promenade next to the house is very scenic and offered a one mile round trip walk along the ocean . Watching the surfers was also a plus.

Raquel’s place was absolutely impeccable. After five nights of hopping between different beds, my friend and I felt so lucky to land here for three restful nights — exactly what we needed. The space had everything we could have asked for and more. The check-in process was super easy, and Raquel had everything clearly laid out with thoughtful instructions. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us — it truly felt like a breath of fresh air.

Amazing location in picturesque village

Family home, pleasant in a very nice quiet village without a car. We fell under the spell of Jardim do Mar, its small alleys with its typical gardens! Thank you Sofia, we felt at home 😊🙏

We loved staying in Corinas well equipped unit. 2 large light filled bedrooms, 2 bathrooms was great with 3 of us and the living area is spacious . We loved the balcony with great view especially at night with the lights of the town and hills. We loved the kitchen eatery as well with beautiful views. Having a parking space within the complex was wonderful! Enjoyed the roof terrace as well. Thanks Corina!

Beautiful apartment with a stunning view, the pictures don’t even do it justice. Maria’s place is the perfect location to stay and explore the island if you are travelling by car. It was so nice to come back to and relax by the heated pool after a day of hiking. The small town near by is great for restaurants too which was nice to visit in the evening. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore Madeira with a rental car. One of the nicest Airbnbs I have ever stayed at

We’ve enjoyed the stay at Tony’s apartment. It was easy to get there with very clear instructions. Ocean view was fantastic. We’d everything needed, including washing things. I would like to have some more coffee.

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Wonderful host, kind and friendly, great recommendations, great place!

We had a wonderful stay at Madeira Apartments. Luciano was very responsive and answered questions we had before our stay including recommendations for rental cars. Sarah greeted us on arrival, she was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of great recommendations. The apartment was very clean and we felt right at home straight away - the rooftop pool was also great to enjoy after some hikes! We would definitely stay again if we are ever able to come back to Madeira!

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect - from check-in to check-out and excellent communication from host throughout. This is what AirBnB should be like. Like others have said, the location of the apartment is excellent - right in the centre, but quiet (except when Portugal won the Nation's League haha!), within reach of the seafront, restaurants, etc. Much better location than all the hotels a bit further along the seafront. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and more. The pool on the roof is heated to 26 degrees and lovely. It is only open from 8am to 8pm, but they opened it for us and others one night when there was a firework display. One special mention of the absolutely lovely concierge of the building - also friendly, always helpful! Couldn't ask for more.

loved our stay in this apartment in Funchal, it was in a great location, just round the corner from the street with the painted doors with lots of restaurants to chose from. we loved sitting on the large balcony watching the cable cars. The apartment is just like the photos, clean and modern. we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.
