Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Furnas

Prachtig verbouwd oud huis, met behoud van originele elementen. De nieuwe aanbouw, met de verhoogde glazen kubus, is fantastisch: stijlvol ingericht, prachtig uitzicht, steeds afwisselend, privé. Alleen gekwetter van vogeltjes. Auto is te parkeren op eigen terrein. Tuin is privé. Goed bed! Keuken is wat onpraktisch, maar dat is ondergeschikt aan de voordelen van de woning. Tijdens ons verblijf waren er bouwwerkzaamheden naast het huis. We hadden er weinig last van, zeker ook omdat we overdag veelal op pad waren. Kortom: fantastische plek, voor herhaling vatbaar! This was one of our favorite Airbnb's! Mario and Filipa were incredibly responsive hosts and provided excellent recommendations of yummy local restaurants. The photos are very accurate and the ocean views were truly stunning! We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the ocean view! The ocean decor inside was great. Everything was very clean and the sheets, towels, and bathrobes were all high quality. The location in Lagoa was great - not as touristy as other areas but easy to get to all the main attractions. Overall we highly recommend and hope to be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Tara & Edmundo’s place - the house was incredibly cosy, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. A highlight was definitely enjoying our breakfast in the garden which overlooks the ocean. Tara was incredibly easy to communicate with and always replied quickly to any questions we had. She provided detailed instructions prior to our arrival, which made check-in a quick and easy process. A real treasure of a place that made our amazing trip to the Azores even better.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Sea Roots! We spent a lot of time on the grounds, by the natural pools, and in the little town. We also loved hanging out with Pinky (the dog) and feeding the guinea pigs and chickens our salad scraps daily. The space was perfect for the two of us, but you would be comfortable if you were a group of 4 as well. We hope to visit again one day!

Ein sehr schönes Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und das Beste natürlich die Terrasse mit grandiosen Blick über den Atlantik. Die Kommunikation mit Sven hätte nicht besser sein können, er hat uns vorab bestens informiert, Tipps für Supermärkte und Restaurants gab es auch. Ein kleiner Pfad führt gleich neben dem Nachbarhaus hinunter zu einem kleinen Strand mit tollen Felsen und schöner Brandung, ganz toll. Wir hatten hier eine sehr schöne Zeit! Klare Empfehlung.

Our family of 5 had such a wonderful time at Antonio’s beautiful place. The accommodations were perfect with a stunning view of the ocean and a cool short cut to the tidal pools. The home itself is in a great location, spotless and full of charm. Antonio was such a lovely host who was always available for any questions or assistance. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again if ever returning to this magical island. Thank you Antonio!! :)

Tolles und gemütliches Apartment. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause und der Garten ist einfach traumhaft. wir wurden von Alex äußerst freundlich empfangen. Er hat uns gleich durch den gesamten Garten geführt. Unbedingt das angrenzende Restaurant ausprobieren, ausgezeichnetes Essen und toller Service. Vielen Dank :)

We had a great time here! The view is amazing and the appartment is more then complete. Everything you need is available. The communication with Miguel was easy and he gave us all the information we needed for our stay. When we arrived there was enough food for the next day, what a great service! We can really recommend a stay here, you will never forget it!

This is a lovely apartment with an incredible view of the mountains and beach. It’s rather basic in decor, but comfortable. All in all, a very good place

The flat is really nice and clean. Located directly in city centre with private parking which is definitely a bonus. Carlos has been very interactive untill he was sure we where settled and the flat is organised in a very attentive way. There is nothing missing. There where even towels for the hot baths. Would highly recommend.

This modern and well decorated apartment was a true hidden gem! Very spacious for the two of us, and with a fully equiped kitchen. The bed was large and comfortable, and everything was spotless clean. The pool was beautiful and heated, a very tranquil place to rest after our flight cancellation. Communication with Baptiste was very responsive and it was a pleasure to be greeted by his wife upon arrival. They are great hosts and made our first days on the island unforgettable.

We had a lovely stay here! The apartment is beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious, modern bathroom. The balcony was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. There’s a popular restaurant right next door, and although the apartment is located a bit outside the Ponta Delgada city center, it’s a peaceful area with enough parking nearby. We had a car, which we’d recommend, but also walked into town along the scenic coastline-it takes about 30 minutes. All in all, a great base for exploring the island!

De hosts waren erg vriendelijk en gaven goede tips voor over het hele eiland! Het appartement zelf is ook mooi en aan alles is gedacht. Kleine dingen als een wasmand, strandhanddoek, een dekentje en een fruitmandje laten het meteen voelen als een thuis!

This was a very well situated home that felt private and secure. The unit was bright and clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics needed. The bathrooms were clean and modern with plenty of toilet paper (could have used tissues). We were given 2 towels (one for home and one for beach/water activities) and a hand towel. I would have liked an extra towel for the week long stay. Storage in the bedrooms was great and loved the room darkening blinds! I personally felt the beds were too firm. The couch was equally as firm. For 2 people, the living room furniture was adequate but if you’re a group of 4 or more, there isn’t enough seating. The dining table seats plenty! The balcony furniture was great and my son loved lounging in the hammock and enjoying the surrounding beauty. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk with a decent restaurant on the beach. A rental car is a necessity to get around. Being centrally located meant easy access to all the island has to offer. Great stay!

The space was fantastic for a family of five. Well positioned to walk everywhere. Having covered parking was a lifesaver as there is nowhere to park on the streets. Claudia was so nice and responsive. Will definitely stay here again!!

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Great price and location. hosts were extremely responsive and allows us to check in early. If you're wanting to park in the garage, make sure to park up on the side just before you get to the address, otherwise you'll need to do a loop around as everything is one way. very lovely stay
