A lovely self catering holiday apartment,sleeps 2 and dogs are welcome. It’s situated above the lovely laurel inn pub. The kitchen/lounge area has WI-FI,recliner and easy chair,and a table and chairs. The bedroom has a quality double bed,hanging space and a smart t.v. Bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower,toilet,sink and a heated towel rail. ACCESSIBILITY- we are sorry to say that our rooms are not suitable for those with limited mobility,due to the steepness of stairs.

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the equipped kitchen with large table. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, up the final flight of stairs is the loft bedroom (double bed & single bed) and sea views! The stairs are narrow & steep, see photos. If you're after old and quaint, Hilda is your girl, if you're after brand new, she probably isn't 💗 Parking permit for nearby car park.

1 The Bolts is located right in the heart of Robin Hoods bay. The apartment is spread over 3 floors with a large living room/diner and good sized kitchen on the 1st floor with all the appliances you could ask for and a generous amount of crockery and utensils. On the second floor is a shared bathroom, Bedroom with 2 single beds and a bedroom with a double bed. On the third floor is 2x bedrooms with a double bed and one with en-suite shower room. We where extremely grateful for the parking permit that was provided for the car park at the top of the hill and once we had unloaded our luggage we didn't use the car again until we left. There is a great number of pubs, restaurants and cafes all within walking distance of the apartment. The beach is also within walking distance tide permitting. There are coastal and other walking routes that you can do nearby. The apartment has been renovated recently and was very spacious for the 4 of us that stayed and could easily cater for more people.

Wow where do we start. Angela and Richard are just the perfect hosts we arrived as strangers and left as friends. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and pristine clean. The furniture was amazing, the most comfortable bed ive ever slept in, bathroom was superb with a fabulous shower, I could go on and on about this place we just didn't want to leave. The views are outstanding, it's so peaceful and we loved seeing all the wildlife. Thankyou for the lovely welcome hamper which we loved, beautiful biscuits and gorgeous bread as well as jersey butter, milk and cold drinks we really appreciated it. Hattie and Grace are the most adorable well behaved dogs and we loved meeting them and seeing them each day in the grounds. All we can say is The Cedars is our new go to place and we can't wait to return. Thankyou again for your wonderful hospitality. Colleen and Les

Absolutely perfect stay from start to finish. Simon was on hand to greet us and the studio was exactly as described and I thought more spacious than the photos looked. The studio was immaculate throughout with the comfiest bed and nice thick pillows and duvet. The little kitchen area was well thought out and has everything you need to make a snack and a morning coffee. The studio is well thought out and had everything we needed. The Bay hotel is a few seconds walk from the studio, and perfectly placed to explore the local area. Robin Hood’s Bay is beautiful and such a charming place, we will definitely be back and booking Simon’s place will be first on our places to book, next time though we will stay for longer. Simon’s place was a perfect hidden gem, I don’t want anyone else to find out about it. Thank you for having us. x

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at Jane’s cottage in Robin Hood’s Bay and couldn’t be happier. The cottage is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything a family could need. It was the perfect base for exploring the coast – peaceful, cosy, and full of charm. Jane was a wonderful host, and everything was spotless on arrival. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Five stars all the way – we’ll be back as soon as we can!

This place felt like a hidden gem, perfect for exploring Whitby and Scarborough, and walkable to Robins hood bay. Everything was as described, the place was spotless and set up so we didn't need to talk to the host, but had all the details if we had needed to get hold of her. Kust the break we needed, and our very young daughter loved her first holiday!

Spring farm caravan

The caravan is on the farm, and has its own little garden with a table and chairs, which the chickens like to visit. The main stock is cattle, and they are very nosy, but well penned in their fields. The farm is set well off the road and is very peaceful. Robin Hood's Bay is 2 or 3 miles away, depending which path you choose (the cinder path is easiest). Whitby is 5 miles in the opposite direction. It was a lovely way to unwind and I thoroughly recommend Spring Farm.
