Gulkana River Ranch Bed and Breakfast

Our place is right on The Gulkana River. You’ll love our sauna, skiing, and 77-acre homestead. We are off the grid (no electricity), but have a sink, wood stove (we start for you), clean outhouse (no indoor toilet) and plenty of water that we haul for you. Outdoor shower is very rustic. Gulkana River Ranch is a haven for those wishing to be close to nature and experience bush Alaska as it used to be. Mod cons quite limited: Instagram-worthy photos plentiful:) Adventure awaits the hearty soul!

Little House is a hand-built two-bedroom log cabin on our 320-acre working Alaskan homestead. Both bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds. The master has a bay window and a jack and jill bathroom that opens to the hallway. The cabin has hot water, electricity, internet, and all essentials. The kitchenette has a two-burner stovetop and basic cookware. There is a compact dining table, a three-person sofa, and a recliner. No TV or city amenities, just mountain views and privacy.

Nicely furnished rustic cabin nestled among large spruce trees. Located approximately 3/4 mile from the Gulkana River (12 miles north of Glennallen). Cabin is also located just 8 miles from Gakona/Copper River. Beautiful views of the magnificent Wrangell Mountains abound in the area. Guests arriving before May 1 must bring water, lighting, some firewood and access may be difficult due to snow and a sled may be required for part of the 1/3 mile distance from the highway.
