The Cabin

Whimsical cabin in the woods! This tiny house is 288 square feet on one floor. It has a queen size murphy "bed in a box." It boasts a full size bathroom and kitchen. Like many rural tiny homes, the unit is equipped with a composting toilet. As an option there is also a portable toilet adjacent to the cabin. Nestled in the foothills of the Tillamook Forest, the cabin is on a beautifully forested property with gardens, decks, trails, etc. A private drive & ample parking round out the amenities.

Forest Park trail is steps away, Sauvie Island and the historic Cathedral Bridge are 5 minutes by car, and 10 minutes to Slab Town and Alphabet District. This lovely tree top space is attached to our home and includes separate entry, complete privacy in the unit, has its own upstairs deck, and includes the use of our shared lower deck and hot tub. The kitchen is a "kitchenette" with no stove, but we do provide a single burner hot plate. Come practice "Shin Rin Yoku", the the stress- reducing essence of the forest. Trails, benches and platforms throughout the property provide a place to sit, enjoy the clean air, meditate, or do yoga.

Kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials plus picking up your own fresh eggs from 100 yards away. Pods coffee and tea is provided. Keep your eyes out for the wildlife like elk, deer, Hawks etc. Beautiful garden with Koi pond in front of the unit. Please note: This house is not child proof so adults only.
