apartment is very Peaceful and sea beach very near also shopping centre you can walk by yourself . garden very clean and beautiful. our family spend very nice time together at the apartment. Specially with papa everything is best There was a lake just next to the garden. Highly recommend. we will come back again soon.

From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

This incredible property, which is absolutely as described and photographed, delighted us every day! Nishantha and his family are incredibly attentive and helpful, we are very excited to meet them, thank you for your hospitality. We had at our disposal a beautiful house with a private and well-maintained territory, a swimming pool overlooking the lake. A separate area for BBQ, in the evening beautiful lighting turns on, in the form of light bulbs, there was a feeling of some kind of holiday. The fauna in Sri Lanka, in general is very rich, and in this villa we saw lizards, a peacock came to visit, many chipmunks and beautiful birds. I am absolutely sure that by choosing this place - you will not regret anything.

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

We had a lovely time at the property, would definitely visit and stay again. Very friendly staff and plenty of freedom and privacy. Couple of things to note, there is only one fridge for the 5 rooms we stayed at, and only one bath tub in the 5 rooms. Food was good, there are some nice shacks near by. location is excellent.

Our stay at Anja's place was amazing! Even before we arrived, Anja provided us with valuable tips for our Sri Lanka trip, which helped us a lot and took our initial concerns. We were able to check in earlier for a small extra charge and were warmly welcomed. Eranga, who takes care of the house, prepared us a delicious lunch according to our wishes – a perfect start after a long journey! The house is very well equipped. The two rooms on the ground floor each include a private bathroom. Living room, kitchen and terrace are also on one level. Our children loved the pool, which is an ideal size and surrounded by beautiful palm trees. We were able to use the pool completely privately. The highlight was the roof terrace with a fantastic view of the sea and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Anja's place. Thank you for everything.

The place is amazing It big size front garden backside infinity pool with ocean 20 meters only. The checkin was very smooth and we were greeted with very kind person caretaker. It was my birthday he arranged cake and all necessary items and was very proactive and humble ready to help, he took us in his tuktuk to buy basic groceries and beer. The place is stunning well equipped kitchen,clean bedrooms and hall. The pool was super fresh and was cleaned daily .Nearby we have many supermarkets and restaurants. It perfect for large families who want peace and family time.

Fantastic and quiet accommodation right on the beach. Ravith and all the others belonging to the property was very accommodating. You don't have to accept everything you're turned on and the prices sometimes deviate from the available menu, only around 100-200 LKR, anyway. Highly recommended!

Althaf's home truly felt like a home away from home. Set in an amazing location, it radiated a warm, welcoming vibe that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The view of the ocean from the house was simply breathtaking — we could have spent hours just sitting and taking it all in. Althaf's mother was a kind and gracious host. My wife especially enjoyed their friendly conversations, which added a personal touch to our experience. The house is ideally located within walking distance to the scenic promenade and the charming peddlers' street, both of which evoke a nostalgic, old-world charm. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation, and we’re already looking forward to returning. One small suggestion: it would be great if breakfast could be included, even at an additional cost. This would add a layer of relaxation and convenience, especially for vegetarian guests.

This villa is something wonderful. All the details are perfect, beautiful and sophisticated. The bedrooms are fantastic, the swimming pool is amazing, the garden itself is a gem. And the staff! The housekeeper Sasun with the other guys, runs the villa in à perfect way: they are available for every request, helpful and incredibly skilled! We had many meals at home and it was definitely better than at the restaurants! The position is really good. You can walk in the nature up to the main road, Matara road, where many small restaurants are, or ask the staff to call a tuk tuk. Galle fort is about 30' away! Stephen the owner, is promptly reacting and helpful. Despite the weather in June, to stay in villa Vador has been an amazing experience and I can't wait to come once again! Thanks to Stephen and the staff for having made my holiday so relaxing!

We enjoyed the house very much. There are 2 huge rooms available, each of which has large very good air conditioners with outdoor air. On both floors have bathrooms, which has proven to be very convenient. The view from the upper level is breathtaking: the plant variety to the left and right of the property; the river; the adjacent jungle behind it and wonderful sunsets. The property is very private overall, you only see a fishing boat passing by from time to time and the 3 employees (managers, housekeepers and chef) are extremely discreet. The chef of the house is amazing! He conjured us up unique srilankan meals 3x a day - and on request not only Reis&Curry, but that was also the madness! Issues will be resolved immediately by Eric. We took a boat trip along the river from our own jetty and saw crocodiles, monkeys, owls, chameleons, warans, flying and eagles. We highly recommend the place!

Had a wonderful stay at Sam's Condominium-neat and clean apartment with stunning views and the soothing sound of waves . The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect coastal escape.

Wowww. Where do I even begin?! We were stunned by how much more beautiful this place was in person. It exceeded all our expectations!! The location can’t be beat. Corner unit, two floors, multiple balconies & floor-to-ceiling windows/doors to catch the beach & gorgeous sunset views from any angle! The bedrooms with attached bathrooms, common areas & divine master suite are so spacious and luxurious! I have to give *high praise* for how well maintained this unit is by Dodampe, his lovely caretaker Upul, and the cleaning staff. The place was sparkling clean - kitchen, curtains, sofas & other furniture/fixtures seemed almost brand new! Incredibly high standards for cleanliness, presentation & keeping unit in excellent working order with no issues. Our family of seniors, young adults, and children had lots of privacy for ourselves as well as generous common areas to spend together. Many thanks to Upul for his warmth, responsiveness, all his help & advice. He even brought a welcome gift!

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

The accommodation is beautiful and right on the sea. If you don't want to eat in the restaurant in the building complex, you always need a taxi to the nearest restaurant. Special requests were always taken into account and fulfilled. Furthermore, we were helped a lot in organizing the transfer to the airport.

Someone says that the road is noisy, yes , there is a road , but guys , you came here not to sit at home, feet in your hands and explore so that at night you will not wake up anything! Amazing place , location and people , thank you !

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

We had a great stay at Kumari's apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The couch is comfy and the kitchen is well equipped for full meals. Wi-Fi was really fast and the view cannot get any better. The condo has a full gym, a nice pool (with sunny areas and shady areas) and a restaurant for dine-in or room service. It was a pleasure communicating with Kumari - always very responsive to our questions. The one small maintenance issue we had was fixed by the condo staff very quickly. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.
