Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Galveston Bay

I honestly can not give enough stars! Stacy was so great the house was amazing! She was very accommodating with my pups! Honestly the only place I will stay if I come back to Huston! Great location close to food and the Bay Area! Got to the Astro game with no problem! I loved it there!

Even though it rained some it was very comfortable and did some fishing off the deck was shady and was.just.what we wanted out side of galveston so there was a lot of privacy if we decide to go back will definitely like to stay there again

This is a cozy gem tucked into a cool neighborhood 5 minutes walk from the beach. A fantastic weekend getaway for the Mrs. and myself…we’d gladly stay here again and highly recommend!!!

Our stay here went perfectly! We felt right at home from beginning to end. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, which put my mind at ease at night and when we were away. The house is about a half hour from Galveston and Houston, making it a great choice if you have plans in both places like we did. There are plenty of restaurants to pick from in the nearby area as well. The dogs appreciated the fenced in backyard that is well maintained. To top it all off, Ivan is a great host! He is very friendly and made sure that we had what we needed. I highly recommend staying here and will be adding this AirBNB to my favorites list. Thank you, Ivan!

We had the best time and definitely will be back. The location was perfect, both the house as far as the views go and also location to town and stores/shops. The downstairs hang out area with gaming area was definitely a hit with our kids, perfect for afternoons after we hit the beach in the morning. The calm, sleek and comfortable aesthetics of the home were ideal, and loved the bunk room. The host truly thought of everything , there wasn’t one thing we needed or missing.

Picture it: You're at the beach looking for the perfect place to pitch your tent for the day. You look for the line where the wet sand from waves ends, and you leave a little space for the kids' sand castles. There it is- the perfect spot. But wait! Don't haul out those tent poles and sand bags because right there, in that very spot, is an entire beach house ready for your next beach vacation! This house solved every complaint I've ever had about taking kids to the beach. A (nice, full) bathroom at beach level. Shade from the sun without lifting a finger. Every toy and chair that we brought safely tucked just an arm's reach away on the deck. Depending on the kid's age, I could send them to the beach while I drank my coffee from the recliner overlooking the waves in the morning, or send them up to the living room when they were done for the day while I waited with the others on the beach. Inside: - 180˚ views - So many beds! - Clean - Well decorated - Wonderful host 10/10!

Great house with amazing view. Porch is worth every penny. We spent a lot of time out there. Local food was good especially Island Cafe- we ate there every single day. Beach is secluded but water is dirty because of surrounding rivers. Quick ferry ride to Galveston and hour drive to Houston. Amazing place if you are looking for quiet, relaxing beach vaca. No crowds, no traffic. Host was very informative.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home! The back yard was AMAZING! The house was very spacious with everything you could possibly need! House was also very clean. The back yard is breathtaking, heated pool, fire pit, plenty of outdoor sitting and even a TV outside. Gloria was very nice and very responsive and answered all of my questions as well as provided clear instructions on checking in and out. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this beautiful home again!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

This place is incredibly beautiful. I loved it, but my wife fell in love with it, so much that she told me we need to return as soon as possible. It's a place with such good vibes and a sense of peace we've rarely experienced in the past. The people who rented it that day are incredible! Very respectful and extremely friendly. It's very difficult to describe in words what it feels like to be there. Highly recommended!! See you soon, guys!

Great place to stay! Quiet neighborhood. Great for easy canal fishing. The dock flooded after several days of rain, but we were able to use it before it was too late!

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! Even with nearby homes, it felt quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly private—perfect for our family getaway. House was exactly as pictured, with a cozy, beach-weathered charm. The downstairs outdoor space was a highlight, and the hot tub was a great bonus (some sand in it, but totally expected at the beach!). The beach gear was definitely past its prime, but still appreciated and useful. The views were absolutely unbeatable, and despite the slightly higher price, we felt the experience and location were worth it. The only issue we had was an unexpected visit from a man who said he was there to check on some repairs. No one had notified us, and he entered bedrooms—including one where teenage girls were sleeping and our personal belongings were out. It caught us off guard, and I had to reach out to confirm he was actually sent by the host. A heads-up beforehand would’ve made us feel much more comfortable. Overall though, we had a fantastic stay!

The house is situated where you can see the beach and the bay from the porch! Brandon was available for any questions, was super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time on our trip to Galveston. Kimberly provided a perfect lodging experience. The home is located in a central area making all of our destinations close by. Much thoughtful care was given with any needs or amenities we may have needed. The pool and backyard are beautiful.

This condo was the perfect beach vacation spot. The proximity to the beach and loads of restaurants could not be beat. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The space is well put together, and I greatly appreciated the stocked bottled water. The only con I'd say is, make sure you bring your sleep mask, as the lights from the outside the bedroom window don't ever turn off, and shine into the room at night.

LOVED this beautiful home in Galveston! We visit Galveston twice a year and know the town well. This location in an historic district is perfect! Close to The Strand, the Downtown area with shops, great restaurants and the location of the cruise ships docks! Very walkable neighborhood with our dog. The hosts even provided a very large, clean comfortable kennel in the sitting area that our dog could stay in with her toys so we could go out to a special restaurant! The kitchen is super high end and well equipped. Loved the bar seat counter and the dining room long table to use and hang out around. The living room and attached open sitting room were PERFECT! Large wall tv screen and relaxing large sofas. Loved it. Bedrooms had soft super comfortable mattresses and the pillows were comfy also! Oh, the bedrooms are large!!! The backyard is simple with cast iron table and 4 chairs. Party lights would be great out there! Fabulous house and location. We will return!!!

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful beach house! 🎉 It was the perfect spot to celebrate my son’s birthday. From the relaxing jacuzzi and fun swimming pool to the spacious setup and outdoor grill. The kids had a blast swimming, playing games, and just being together as a family. The home was super clean, well-stocked, and even had arcade games that everyone enjoyed. After a day of fishing and beach fun, it was so nice to come back and unwind in such a comfortable space. My husband and the kids all had a great time, and the memories made here will definitely stick with us. This place is so cute and comfy. It's super clean, and it has everything you need including an outdoor media area with games. There were also bikes and items for the beach. We loved that it was a short walk to the beach and around so many places to eat. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property for over a week, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I booked, Makayla was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring that every question I had was answered promptly. Check-in was a breeze, and we felt welcomed from the very start. The location is perfect! Close to the beach and restaurants, but still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The highlight, of course, was the pool! It was absolutely fantastic – clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this place truly exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
