Beach house holiday rentals in Gampaha

When we arrived at Janitha's villa , we were warmly greeted by his best friend , Jude , who looked after us throughout our stay , making sure we knew where places were & informing us of reasonable transport costs etc. The villa is located in a beautiful , quiet residential area where we were fortunate enough to observe many types of native wild life . Accessibility to the beach was approximately 10/15 minutes at a good walking pace but the nearest well stocked supermarket was approximately 30 minutes walk with empty bags , definitely tuk tuk on return journey with full bags ! The villa itself is as open & spacious as in the photos with mosquito nets provided in both bedrooms . Although we managed to prepare & serve a few meals in the kitchen , there could perhaps be additional utensils to make the job a little easier ( tin opener /few more sharp knives & maybe a chopping board & a sieve ). All in all , we were extremely impressed with the villa & the friendliness & helpfulness of Janitha's family & friends . We would have no hesitation in returning . Thankyou for a wonderful holiday . After 2 months in Sri Lanka we didn't expect much from the capital Colombo, but staying in Gayan's place made it very pleasant and enjoyable. It's really close to everything important, there is a supermarket in walking distance and restaurant and short eats place like 10 metres far. Three floors are maybe little bit "luxurious" , but it was nice to have a kitchen and washing machine for once. And from the roof terrace you can see the Lotus Tower. The AC was working very well and it was saving us during hot days. Definitely recommended to stay here.

it was a home away from home. The host was very responsive and communicated well. We had a contact from the hosts team whom we communicated with all through our stay.. We got recommendations through the tour. The location worked well for our stay.

Great place to stay in Negombo

I had an incredible stay at Costa’s Villa! The home looked exactly like the photos, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect, just a five-minute walk to both the beach and the lagoon, and only a 20-minute drive from the airport, making it an ideal beachside retreat for a peaceful getaway. There’s no shortage of activities in the area, from boat tours to birdwatching, which makes it a haven for both nature lovers and adventurers. We especially enjoyed the serene garden and spent countless hours relaxing on the outside veranda. To top it all off, we got the chance to eat delicious homemade, authentic village-style food that truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend Costa’s Villa for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable stay! Thank you Dilini for the amazing stay!

It was a wonderful stay! She is an incredibly sweet hostess who goes 100% for you and thinks along! She took us to the local market, a boat trip and even gave cooking class! Her space is very cool with a beautiful garden, rooftop roof terrace and even a garden in the house. Inside it's like a museum with unique stuff from all over the world! Highly recommended

The place was nice and really clean, shower had hot water which was actually hot. There was water and soft drinks left for us in the fridge which we found to be a nice touch to our experience staying here. Overall this was a nice place to stay, only drawback was that finding the place was not as easy as expected, since maps pointed to the street in which the property was, but not to the property itself. In any case, hostess was very responsive and after a call we were taken to the place.

Shehan is an amazing host. He is super communicative and responds quick. He is happy to help with anything and can help you organize your stay. His house is situated right on the beach and has a magnificent view. The area is safe and quiet, with lots of privacy. A guard stays at the property too that helps lock the gates, but that seemed unnecessary to us. All bedrooms have a huge ensuite bathroom with nice hot shower. The WiFi signal was a little bit hit or miss, but if you get a SIM card at the airport, you'll have good 4G reception. You might have to wait a little bit longer for PickMe (Sri Lanka Uber) drivers to come pick you up to go places. We had a wonderful stay and think it was great value for money. Will consider staying here next time we visit Sri Lanka.

Our stay at this property was absolutely delightful! The house is beautiful, spacious, and immaculately maintained, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The location is fantastic, with the beach just a few meters away, making it the perfect spot for a serene holiday. Additionally, its proximity to Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is a major convenience. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, serving us a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and even treating us to a scrumptious dinner. Their attentiveness, prompt responses, and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality made our stay truly memorable.
