We liked ver much staying at Urmila's place. She and her family and the people around her are very kind and also very helpful. It's great also to have a place out of the center although not far. We really enjoyed our staying and we wish Urmila and her people plain success in her tourism projects!

Love's Farm - Cottage in Ramgarh, Nainital

KunwarRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Absolutely Loved My Stay! My stay at this beautiful cottage was nothing short of amazing. The place was extremely comfortable, and the owner was always just a call or text away—very responsive and helpful. A special mention to the caretaker, who was incredibly kind and made sure our stay and meals were well taken care of. The location is simply stunning—surrounded by greenery, with a well-maintained farm full of beautiful trees and plants. The view of the hills from the property was absolutely breathtaking. The cottage itself was charming and thoughtfully designed, with great infrastructure. Everything about the place felt peaceful, scenic, and just perfect. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maitreya Family Home Stays (B&B)

AikateriniRating, 5 stars77 months ago
What shall I say about this place! It was like I was with my family; caring and protective hosts, delicious foods, local traditions, and the company of the little ones of the family unforgettable. I usually travel from city to city when I am in a new country, however, staying with this family fulfilled me so much that I did not feel the need to go anywhere else- so, I spent an entire month that flew quickly in Kathmandu. The house is located in a local area, away from the noise of the rather touristy Thamel where you see more tourists than locals. The Kapan monastery area is the best to stay at. I would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Kathmandu as it is a genuine homestay experience.

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

Solid Rock Lodge & Restaurant

Christian and his family are saints, we had a very perilous journey on scooter from Sauraha to Pharping and were kindly received by these incredible hosts, warm comfy beds in creative bamboo houses on top of an incredible valley filled with wildlife. The Pharping area is definitely worth a trip from KTM, Darkshinkali temple cannot be missed, and Tibetan Buddhism is massive here, more monastries than I can count. Amazing.

Hilltop 3BHK Cottage l Camp Bagicha

VaibhavRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The stay was much better than what is shown in the pictures. Even though there is a bit of a 20 minute hike to reach it, it's definitely worth it. They provide you with a porter if you have extra baggage for a very minimal price. The place is about 10-12 km from Mukhteshwar so if you want to visit Mukhteshwar you will need to plan a bit ahead but if you're there for just the staycation it's an ideal place to be. The weather is great, the surroundings are beautiful and their caretaker was extremely helpful and responsive. We will definitely visit again sometime.

Amaltas Farm: 2BHK house on an organic farm!

RomilaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A big hug to Ashi, the sweetest host at Amaltas Farms, Gwalior! The farm was a dream—lush green fields, wide open spaces brimming with colours, and just a breezy drive from Delhi. The rooms were cozy yet classy, blending rustic vibes with modern comfort. I went crazy for the fresh moringa leaves and drumsticks hanging off the trees-childhood nostalgia and Ashi made the most delicious drumsticks sabzi for us. Plucking guavas, amlas, bok choy & radishes in cute harvest baskets was an experience & cooking them into special dishes felt magical! Feeding the cows, waking to the rooster’s kukdukukoo-the farm’s birdlife and animals added so much charm, and those fresh eggs—perfection! We spent evenings by the bonfire, enjoying the garden swing and chatting under the stars. The chaats in Gwalior? Life-changing! Those samosas & chole-tikki were better than Delhi’s! Hugest thanks to Ashi for fixing our booking mix-up. If you’re craving peace, fun, & farm vibes, Amaltas Farms will steal your heart!

Kintsugi @ Aikkya

SupriyaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We spent 3 days including New Year's Eve at Aikkya. Their place is ideally located with great views, peace and quiet. Our room was simply yet beautifully decorated and was very clean. We liked the fact that their cottages are built with local building techniques, are sustainable and still have the modern amenities and comforts. We especially loved the common lounge/dining area with it's wood burning stove. It's the ideal place to chill, get to meet the other guests, eat and drink. Shivani and Avijeet go to great lengths to cater to the tastes of each of their guests, cooking different cuisines and offering variety. We had some delicious meals and got to taste an authentic Kumaoni spread. At the end of our stay, we left knowing that we will be back.

Off-the-Grid Gem: A Nature Immersion If you're seeking an escape from the mundane and a chance to reconnect with the wild heart of India, look no further than this hidden gem of an Airbnb nestled on the edge of the Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. Don't expect the glitz and glamor of a 5-star hotel; this is a self-sustaining airbnb that offers something far more valuable – an authentic, immersive experience in nature's embrace. That said everything you need is operational and ample for your stay, cleanliness is a 10. Far removed from the chaos of urban life, it offers a sanctuary where you can unplug, unwind, and recharge amidst the serenity of the natural world. Whether you choose to stargaze under the vast expanse of the night sky or lounge with a good book, every moment spent here is infused with a deep sense of calm and contentment. (Yes the wifi works) Food was fantastic, much of it is sourced grown on site. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back in the future.

What a beautiful location! Left a piece of my heart back at Aashraya. Had the most fulfilling three days. So much to see and do around. Life slows down a lot in places like Aashraya. Depi is a great host. The staff is wonderful and attentive. Definitely returning!

Vidyuns Getaway - The Down- Ranikhet Almora peaks

GauravRating, 5 stars7 months ago
★★★★☆ (4/5 stars) A serene forest retreat with excellent service and outdoor access This property is a hidden gem nestled against a forest, perfect for nature lovers and hikers. The location is truly special – you'll wake up to the sounds of birds and have direct access to walking trails right from your doorstep. The well-maintained garden adds to the natural charm and provides plenty of space for morning strolls or evening relaxation. One of the highlights is the attentive assistant who provides daily cleaning and prepares delicious meals, making the stay feel both homey and luxurious. The convenience of nearby shops for basic groceries means you can easily stock up on essentials while still feeling away from it all. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are several hiking options in the vicinity, including a lovely trail that leads down to a small river. The property serves as an excellent base for exploring the local natural attractions.

This is my best Airbnb experience so far. From the time we entered Ramratan's house, they welcomed us like our family members. The service, food, and hospitality were all first class. The home-cooked food was really great. If you want to enjoy the village life of Bundelkhand and want to see the real India, staying at this place is a must.

Experience Om (Stone-Mudhouses in Nainital Woods)

Aditi RaoRating, 5 stars39 months ago
Shantanu was an amazing host. This was not just a place of stay but a complete experience. Me and my friends had a beautiful full moon night trek upto to the Earth house the night we arrived thought the host suggested us to arrive a bit early since the hike is a bit steep. He and others were kind enough to help us with the luggage. We had a wonderful gourmet dinner under the moonlight continued with bonfire. The rooms were neatly spaced out with comfortable beds, the walls had beautiful handpainting while keeping the heritage alive. A true relaxing into the woods experience as its away from all the hustle and bustle of the town, a honk free stay :) The next morning I woke up to witness one of the beautiful sunrises with a breathtaking mountain view. A complementary session of Yoga with volunteer Vinodh followed by yummy Indian breakfast. If you are an animal lover like me then your stay will be elevated with the company of five beautiful paws :) who were also very happy to be part of the breathing exercise during the session. Our one regret was that we booked this place only for one night because of which we couldn't do the nearby trek some guided by the host himself. But we did get the chance to enjoy this scenic view while trekking 2kms back to our car in the day light... the only thing I would suggest is to pack light. If you ever are in Nainital I highly recommend for you to come and experience this place as this was one of mine and my friends most cherished stay in this trip.

I made the best decision to spend 3 nights at this hotel on my first solo trip to Nepal. The hotel staffs were super friendly, they waited for me and cooked a hearty dinner meal upon my late arrival to the hotel. The surroundings of this hotel was serene and beautiful. I will definitely come back to this place soon. I had such a memorable trip.

Sunrise Homestay Peach Valley Ramgarh Nainital

AkshayRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Location is super peaceful and calm, situated on the outskirts of Ramgarh. Early mornings are really nice here as terrace is full of various plants and flowers which attracts lots of birds. Also, great hospitality by the family. The coolest thing about this place is that there's a school. It might sound strange, but it's actually really nice. It adds a special feeling to the whole experience.
