Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ganghwa-gun

I can't say enough good things about this wonderful stylish treasure of an Air B N B. The place itself is stunning-so much thought has gone into the design. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful and it is very functional with all you need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent: you are in the middle of really cool cafes, design shops and restaurants and can walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace and the beautiful surrounds area with some excellent museums in about 15 minutes. It is very near the metro too (about 12 minutes) so very easy to access other parts of the city. Christina was the perfect host. So warm and patient with my many questions. She left us sweet treats which was such a nice welcome on arrival and gave us an excellent list of recommendations. A five star stay in every way! I would not stay anywhere else in Seoul now and really hope we can return. Oh, despite its central location its very quiet. Honestly, this is a special place that you don't want to miss.

I stayed for 2 nights with my parents. It was a healing experience in a 100-year-old house filled with vintage accessories.

I spent a lot of warm time during my stay! The host kindly guided me, so I had no difficulties!

The accommodation was so nice. The surrounding environment was nice, but the accommodation itself was so pretty and cozy.

I agree with all the reviews written. It’s a stand-out 5 star accommodation that is so peaceful and well-designed. We were a family of 4 including two kids (5 and almost 2 year old) and we enjoyed the property throughly. A few tips: 1) Google maps had no issue finding the place but NAVER maps didn’t have the address. 2) the Airbnb is about a 25 min walk to the Traditional Village, it was an easy walk even with a stroller/kids.

This was honestly a dream location. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everything was beautiful and immaculate while still feeling cozy and very much like home. Hosu is very kind and offered excellent recommendations for not only restaurants but historical sites and experiences as well. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to South Korea.

I chose it as a place to go for an anniversary trip, and I✨✨✨ was completely satisfied!! It was close to Jemincheon, so it was good to walk anywhere, and the surroundings were so quiet! The accommodation was just like the photos, and it was actually better than the photos… I'm sensitive to cleanliness, but it was a level of cleanliness + tidiness + perfect amenities that was comparable to a hotel!! (It's summer, so the uninvited bugs are unavoidable, haha) The welcome drink and the night view were great, and the restaurants you recommended were really good! You know how to taste ,, :) Next time I come to Gongju, I'll definitely stop by again! Thanks to you, I had a happy time!

I had a pleasant stay at Reumi's place! The place was clean, well organized, and had everything I needed. Reumi was also really good about communicating the check-in instructions. I had a few additional questions prior to checking in, and she clarified a question I had right away. This made me feel less anxious, and checking in was easy. Getting to and from Incheon International Airport is very easy with the airport bus (Bus #6300). Coming from the airport, the stop is across the street. Going to the airport, the stop is right in front of the Airbnb. Very convenient! There are a couple of subway stations fairly close (Line 3 is about a 5 minute walk, Line 8 is about a 8 minute walk), as well as a bus stop right outside. There were also plenty of restaurants, coffee places, convenience stores, and even an Olive Young (for Korean beauty products) within walkable distance. It was also nice because the area is pretty quiet at night (definitely more of a locals area). Thanks, Reumi!

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely accommodation near Hongdae in Seoul. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the subway station, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. What truly made the stay memorable, though, was the wonderful host. She was very patient and responsive, always happy to answer all of our questions, no matter how big or small. One thing that impressed us was how quickly the host responded to our feedback. When we mentioned the electric kettle's little problem, she replaced it with a brand new one right away. She also kindly allowed us to store our luggage for a short time after check-out, which made our travel plans much smoother. Overall, I highly recommend this property and the host to anyone visiting Seoul. It was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful hospitality!

It was the same place as the pictures. Thanks to the clean and friendly host I had a comfortable stay. If you say you're going to Mokpo, Will surely recommend.

This is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. It was perfectly clean and well organised with lots of thoughtful touches throughout, even including big bath towels which are hard to come by in Korea. The plants give the place a lovely cozy feeling and the projector is amazing. It’s also well located close to two subways stations and the river to a lovely place to go for a walk, I’ll definitely be back!

We had such a lovely 8-day stay! It was conveniently located, close to different subway lines, airport limousine bus, and city buses, and also walkable to Myeongdong without having to live in the midst of the busy-ness. Being able to store our luggage for free when we arrived was so helpful. Our bed was comfortable, and having a water purifier spared us from having to buy water every night. Amelia was very helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this home!

second stay at jihae’s and nevertheless i can find myself coming back here again. convenient location near the train station, with lots of local food, clean and comfortable warm place to stay at when in korea !! thank you for the warm welcome and hosting jihae !! 💝

I had a comfortable stay. The location is excellent & for the price it’s unbeatable. The surrounding has all the necessities & coming back late at night is not difficult with the key card provided. The host was very cordial & responsive. The only downside was that parts of the room was dusty & there were quite a bit of hair on the floor, so if cleanliness could be improved a little, it would be an absolutely perfect stay!

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week, and it was well worth what we paid. It was very easy to get around with the metro close by, do note that it’s a steep walk to the apartment if you have mobility issues. It was not a problem for us. The air conditioner worked amazing, as did the hot water. The bed was comfortable & the lack of bedsheets was not a problem and she had this comfy pad on the bad that did not move. The one night some neighbors were loud after quiet hours, we let Kelly know and she handled it very promptly for us, which we appreciated! There’s also a great Indian restaurant nearby, and lots of 7 elevens and other convenience stores. The quality for the price is amazing for Seoul, and we definitely recommend for your next stay if you want a central and affordable place!

the location of the airbnb was absolutely perfect!! as it’s in a very quiet residential area but it is no more than a 10 minute walk away from hongdae (one of the most lively and turistic shopping areas!!) the apartment had everything needed, and the host provided all the utilities and help necessary! would 100% recommend it, i had an amazing stay

Amazing location. Not too far Away from the hongdae street (5-7 minutes away by walking). Area is quiet so i got a good rest after a whole day of sightseeing. Baba was always quick to answer to my questions and the Apartment was completely clean. I had an amazing time in Seoul and would definetly recommend this place to everybody. After staying for 3 weeks it really felt like home. Thank you so much :)

It's a neat and cozy accommodation with a stone baby. I 🩷told you in advance, and you also provided a baby chair and a baby bath, and the accommodation was so clean and there were no major obstacles, so it was good for the baby to walk around. They responded quickly to inquiries and responded quickly, making happy memories very satisfactorily. Sir, always be happy. 🤍

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It’s very close to Namsan Tower — we took the bus up and walked down, which was a great experience. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong, which is super convenient, and Seoul Station is just nearby. The apartment itself is great, and the host was kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend this place! If I come back to Seoul, I’ll definitely try to stay here again if it’s available.

We enjoyed our stay here! Location was pretty close to good restaurants and shopping in Hongdae/Hongik Station area. The host let us know that the room was ready for check in earlier than the expected time and it was very convenient that they had an area for secured luggage storage. The air conditioner worked great and bed was very comfortable! Only issue we had was figuring out how to get warm water for a shower but would stay again!
