Dormitory C dormitory The closest guesthouse in Seoraksan

YoumiRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Won and his wife were wonderful hosts. This was my first experience staying at a hostel. Fortunately, they were able to upgrade my room to a single occupancy at checkin. It didn’t feel like a hostel but a warm friendly-run extended family. They went out of their way to assist me, especially me being a single 58 yo female visiting Seoraksan to hike. Won even called a taxi for me at 3am in the morning and made sure I made it to airport on time! Talk about a five star service! Thank you Won and your wife for your warm and friendly hospitality! I hope to return soon.

Great place to stay, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful in answering all my questions about the stay and the surrounding area and making sure I had a good time. U was even offered an umbrella as I was leaving since it was raining and I only had a raincoat. Overall great experience and very kind host, highly recommend.

It’s the perfect place to stay in, the national Park is one bus stop or 25min walk away and the bus in the other direction takes you to the beach in 30min The place was wonderful and everything was clean. The host was super nice and he speaks awesome English. Breakfast and dinner can be added and otherwise there is a convenient store right down the street

Dormitory A Guesthouse closest to Seoraksan

JordanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My stay here was brief but I hope to return again soon. Getting to the hostel from the Intercity Bus Terminal is easy but I also recommend taking a taxi if you want to save a lot of time (not cheap but not expensive). At check-in I was given very helpful information about hiking trails and they have a map with estimated trail times. They also offered me an upgrade to a private room because it wasn't busy! The breakfast is incredible and I highly recommend it, and the pizza option for dinner is a little more expensive but enough to feed two people. It's not luxurious but it's comfortable, warm (it was cold outside) and has a fridge. There are a handful of food options and one convenience store very close but you can also get food at Seoraksan Park. Also be mindful if taking taxis the short distance to or from the park entrance because they might charge you more than they should if you're a foreigner. Check-out on weekends can also get busy so plan ahead. Thank you for hosting me! :)

It was a clean and quiet accommodation. The shared space was nice, and there were a lot of books that the child could read, so I wasn't bored. ^ ^ However, it was a pity that the utensils in the shared space were not working properly, and it was a good facility, but it was a pity that the space other than the accommodation didn't consistently manage. It was the best place to stay, if you think about the barbecue, and the fireworks. There is no television, but it wasn't bad for a quiet family trip either.

정근Rating, 5 stars20 months ago
The accommodation was very neat and the bed bed was comfortable. I feel like you are attentive and attentive to your home. It was a bookstay accommodation, so all the family travelers were quietly tied up, so I was able to stay comfortably with almost no noise. The breakfast is delicious and tidy. You have to wash the food we ate. There's a place to read. The underground space is also big, so you can watch movies when there are no people.

Sora Jae Artstay 2 (Queen + Single + 2nd Floor Bed Family Room for 5)

지은Rating, 5 stars3 months ago
Suddenly using a temporary holiday in March My parents-in-law, who live far away, said they were coming. I planned a trip to Chuncheon. I was looking for a place to stay, and I thought my child would love it. I decided on Sorakjae with a pretty fire truck bed. It was a wonderful place to stay without children. One piece of furniture in the room, a blanket, and a bathroom tile. There didn't seem to be a place I didn't care about. The owner's thoughts in the building itself It feels meticulously melted. It was really nice. I live in the area near Chuncheon, Next time, I want to stay for a long time as a long stay ~

Stay 42 Triple Room (3 Single Beds)

PrashantRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an amazing stay. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchen space was so handy... well-maintained with all essential appliances. The no-shoes-in-the-room policy made us feel right at home, culturally. Annie was always responsive and helpful right from the beginning. My mate forgot his toothbrush, and she had one handy. We were confused about a very early morning airport return, and she booked a taxi for us, and even negotiated with the driver! (Special thanks for that!). Her check-in instructions were crisp and clear. The location is walking distance (~200 meters) from the Airport Limousine Bus Shuttle drop-off, as well as the Gwangnaru metro station. The Grand Walkerhill hotel's free shuttle's stop is also close. There are handy grocery stores nearby, as well as a Starbucks and an Olive Young, all within a 2 minute walk. Please note that a small flight of ~10 stairs has to be climbed and the front door is heavy. Stay42 was a memorable part of our very enjoyable Korean trip.

Sora Jae Artstay 4 (Triple + Bunk Bed with Kids, Family Room for 5)

형윤Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
I went to Chuncheon with my 6-year-old son, and we also went to Legoland! I was looking for a place to stay in a hurry, but I slept comfortably with a lot of consideration! Rather, it was a pity that I spent a short time at the accommodation because I was playing at Legoland and checking in. The reading space on the 3rd floor and the underground common space were very nice, so I want to stay a little longer the next time I come to Chuncheon. ^^ He also made a carrot rapa bagel sandwich for breakfast, but he let me and my younger brother, who hate carrots, experience a new taste!

Yeongwol Eco Village (Room 107 Family Room)

정인Rating, 5 stars50 months ago
Clean and spacious room. I would like to applaud the conscious accommodation culture. Even if it's a little uncomfortable, I feel like this movement is desirable, and the library on the first floor, and the star feast that unfolds when you open the door and go out was really nice. However, it is unfortunate that the cafeteria is closed. It's due to coronavirus concerns, so it can't be helped... If you provide a good location, facilities, and breakfast a little further, it would be a blameless place.

BrusiyaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I had a great stay! The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the subway station, with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures—clean and comfortable, and larger than a typical goshiwon. The host was very helpful and provided excellent support throughout my stay.

This is a great place to stay for solo-travelers on a budget! - You get your own room with a private shower/sink. You also get a mini fridge, desk, and a place to hang your clothes. - Very quiet in the building and very easy to live in. - Peaceful area that is located right beside a bus stop and about a 10 minute walk from the subway. (Highly recommend the bus! It’s so convenient 😎) I think this area has a lot of schools, so it’s very quiet. - A convenience store (GS25) is on the first floor, a grocery store (Maeil Mart) is a 3 minute walk away and there are cafes/restaurants the same distance away. - Common areas are cleaned frequently throughout the week by a very nice lady - There is a washer/dryer that you can use freely - The kitchen is really nice and has a microwave, pots/pans, some basic utensils, a hot/cold water machine, and rice cooker (they also provide rice 😎) Highly recommend to stay here if you’re staying in Korea for a longer amount of time! It’s very comfortab
