Apartment holiday rentals in Garden District, New Orleans

I loved this place and wished we could stay forever. The home is perfect, filled with art and more charm than one can imagine! Its located in the Garden District which is amazing. You can walk to the trolley, restaurants, and shops; all the while surrounded by amazing architecture. Shannon provided us with everything, from coffee and pastries to a balcony were you can sit and have breakfast. I asked Shannon a few questions before we arrived and she was quick to respond and made me feel safe and comfortable. She had books on New Orleans, suggested cafes on the refrigerator, even provided us with Mardi Gras beads we could take home. I can not reccommend this wonderful place more! Eric is a fabulous host!!! He was so helpful and so good to us! We had a wonderful stay and actually wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely recommend this place and I would absolutely stay again!

The cottage was tastefully furnished and had modern updates, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The courtyard was a very private oasis of beautiful plantings with comfortable outdoor seating areas. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone I know who makes a trip to New Orleans.

Loved our stay at Marigny’s place! We love the location- walkable to all the Oak Street restaurants and shops (and Maple Leaf!), somewhat removed from the bustle of downtown and French Quarter but easily accessible to it all by the trolley which is just feet away. There are multiple fantastic restaurants right on the corner- highly recommend Boucherie and Lebanon’s- and great grocery store within walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed (we really just made coffee and ate leftovers- but it’s a full kitchen that would be great for cooking a meal). Sleep is a big deal for me and always questionable when traveling, but I slept great- the bed is newer and very comfortable, the bedroom is toward the back of the house and therefore extremely quiet. This place has charm and comfort and a location we love- I hope to come back next year! ***Parking: parking is generally “a thing” in Nola, but it was not hard to find safe parking in the neighborhood Thanks Marigny!

Location, location, location! And, loved the apartment and decor. It felt so genuinely NOLA. David was responsive to general inquiries and offered up suggestions for things to do in the area. I never met him in person, but it felt like I had him right there with me for anything I needed. If you go during the summer, you gotta know it’s gonna be hot! We were completely fine and knew the time we were choosing to go, so just understand that’s the way it is and don’t fuss. The final day of our trip we stayed in our jammies all day and enjoyed the cool down and the lovely kitchen. The apartment is beautiful. We played house and completely loved this day after hitting all the touristy stuff your supposed to do when you travel. 🙂 Highly recommend.

David is an experience host. No detail was overlooked. Amazing use of every square foot. Instructions answered every question. We will be back!

Great location, close to fun shops, coffee and restaurants.

Molly and Pete have amazing taste and it's on full display in this perfect apartment in a classic New Orleans double shotgun house. An exceptionally elegant space. The location could not be better--you are in easy walking distance of one of the best bakeries in the city (La Boulangerie), best music venues in the city (Tipitina's), and best po-boys in the city (Domilise's). Highly recommend!

Had a great time here! It was central to everything in the city, easy to park, and the space was clean and affordable. We were worried about noisy neighbors since it's a building shared with other units and New Orleans is a party city, but we heard no one else in this unit. Thanks for hosting us!

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting NOLA! It’s right on Canal Street with the streetcar stop right out front. It’s the perfect halfway point between the Quarter and City Park (and Greenwood Cemetery). Canal Street can be loud, but the apartment was relatively peaceful; I didn’t hear a peep out of anyone who lived there (unless they were using the stairwell), and the earplugs worked well at night to drown out any noise from the street. The apartment was very easy to get to, and it was beautiful inside. Everything was clean, well organized, and there were several personal touches that made it even more welcoming. Adele and I had communicated a bit before my arrival and she was very helpful and pleasant, and made some good suggestions. I also greatly appreciated her visitor’s guide, which is in the apartment, but which she also shared with me via Google before the trip. It really helped me plan my trip to the Crescent City. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this place! Anything that I needed was met with an immediate response. The room was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed playing pool with my boyfriend, the pool was beautiful even though we missed the chance to get in. I don’t think we had any issues and if we did they were resolved. All of the staff were very polite and welcoming. I would definitely recommend to ANYONE!!! Thank you for hosting us.

Hurricane Francine arrived 2 days after I did.. The house was very solid, no rattling windows or anything to become concerned about during the storm. This was a lovely place to stay. The private courtyard was peaceful with a grill and a hot tub to use if I chose. The room was nicely appointed with a full kitchen so we didn't need to eat out for every meal which I liked a lot.

The place is wonderful! It's a great location near to parks, CBD, and Magazine St, easy walking distance to fun restaurants and bars. We liked Beggar's Banquet just around the corner. Inside is very clean and well finished, and we liked that while it's shotgun style, the bedroom is in the back away from street noise. The front porch is great for watching the neighborhood or soaking in a rainstorm.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this delightful small apartment in New Orleans for our very first Airbnb experience, and I couldn't be happier with how everything went! The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub, which provided a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the vibrant city. The apartment beautifully showcased the unique New Orleans charm, making our experience even more special. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds, which added a playful touch to our accommodation. This place is perfect for couples or small families seeking a cozy retreat. We had absolutely no problems during our stay, and everything went perfectly. Additionally, our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and we can't wait to return!

The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better!). The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The location was close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience!

Great stay, will definitely be staying again for future visits. Super clean and as described. Was way too hot outside to use the hot tub when we visited but that also looked great. Super cool neighborhood and the rooms ac was great despite it being 90+ degrees every day of our stay

Ligy was such a wonderful host! She was friendly and extremely responsive. I could tell that she really cared about making sure our stay was the best it could be and totally went the extra mile to do so. She was very accommodating. The place itself was really nice. It was a well managed room in a time-share hotel that fit me and my father's needs perfectly for a last minute one-night stay for the super bowl without having to settle on quality or cleanliness. Thank you so much!

This condo was great for our French Quarter Fest vacation, the beds were comfy and it felt very safe and secure. The hot tub on the roof was especially nice after walking all day. Some things to note - two of the bedrooms are interior only, no windows, which was fine for our group but wasn’t expected, and the only bedroom with windows does get a lot of noise early in the morning (again, not a huge problem for us but just something to know). All the windows in the unit face another building so there’s not a huge amount of natural light or any view, but it was a great location and very comfortable. The two main rules are very strict - they will charge you if you get makeup on the white towels (they give you a very small washcloth for makeup removal), and they charge a lot for early check in or late check out, both were kind of a bummer - makes it feel a bit more corporate.
