Rustic and homely little cabin right by the river. Very simple standard (no bath/water toilet), only outdoor toilet and outdoor shower (only during summer) with cold water. Water jugs with drinking water and water for cleaning/cooking are available. Here you wake up from river buzz and birdsong. The cabin has a garden, a fireplace and a path to the river with a swimming area during the summer. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on a leash as the property is not fully fenced. An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Our guests can use our boat and canoe freely, or enjoy the jetty with swimming, fishing and fire pit. You can cycle, go on mountain hikes right out of the farm, rustle in the woods, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the farm to the high mountains, and from the parking lot about an hour's walk to Langsua National Park.

The winter cottage at Hovesetra consists of a bedroom with two family bunk beds, as well as a living room with kitchen and dining room. Simple standard without running water and electricity.
