We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-kept, and lovingly furnished place. Everything you need is there. The host was super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, the fridge was already stocked with drinks, fruit, and other items, so there was no need to go shopping on the day of our arrival. It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Crete! The location was absolutely perfect—centrally positioned on the island, it made exploring both the east and west sides, as well as all the nearby towns, super convenient. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our visit. The grounds were impeccably maintained and much larger than the photos portray. One of the highlights was the charming taverna right next door, and there were plenty of other great restaurants less than 10 minutes away by car. The warm hospitality from everyone we met made it feel like a true home away from home. We can’t wait to return one day and would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone planning a trip to Crete.

Sunset Villa - it’s peaceful location and surroundings, amenities, cleanliness and views - oh the views - ticked every box. We had the perfect stay. Doron was easy to communicate with and was very helpful and flexible. We hired a car and visited Chania, Rethymno, Kalyves, Vamos, Lake Kournas (hired a pedalo and saw the turtles) and had several lazy days on Almyrida beach. So many great places to eat down in Almyrida plus several tavernas easily walkable in Plaka. Highly recommend Elpis. Everywhere we ate the food was wonderful and the people so welcoming and generous. Complimentary bread, wine, dessert, coffee, Raki.. The villa offered everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the pool, and having breakfast and relaxing evenings on the terrace. We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

We traveled with friends and babies (a total of 4 adults and 2 babies (8&10 months old)) to the villa to Savas & Maria and the villa was fantastically beautiful (even more beautiful than in the photos)! For our tour group, the villa was just perfect, we had our peace, could relax and the children had enough space to play on the giant terrace. Savas & Maria kindly provided everything necessary for our kids (crib, baby chairs, a small inflatable pool and plenty of toys). Cleanliness is very important in the villa, the villa was handed over to us in perfect condition! The villa was rounded off in the evening by the overwhelming sunsets! Savas & Maria were extremely communicative, gave us great recommendations and were always available! We would like to express our sincere thanks again for your warmth, hospitality and a fantastic stay! If we come back to Crete, we'll come back to you!

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. We had a wonderful stay at this stunning villa. So tranquil, we all loved it. It was well designed and we had everything we needed for our nine day stay. The owners were very quick to respond to a couple of queries we had. One of the best Airbnb we have stayed at. We will definitely be back

What can i say to sum up our stay, absolutely spot on, George made contact with me just after the plane landed asking our arrival time, Clair, Georges wife greeted us at the villa and ran through the usual.(very helpful) Also the cleaner was very attentive to our needs. The village itself was just a 5 minute walk up a slight hill. we found a local bar and restaurant, a small mini market and a slightly larger mini market. The food and hospitality from both the bar and restaurant were very good. We spoke to a few ex pats and gained good information of places to visit and eat around the area. We also got introduced to Paulos local taxi driver, Paulos was at our beck and call all holiday (Family of 6 so a 9 seater taxi) He drove us to various locations even sorting out a breakfast for us one morning with a view looking over the sea. (what a top bloke) I can highly recommend a stay at Ayla villa to chill out for the week. Thank you George and Clair

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. The villa was absolutely stunning and had been designed with such an eye for detail. The villa was also immaculate and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The villa itself had everything you could possibly want, the pool and hot tub were exceptional and the facilities were just as pictured. The games room was a particular favourite of ours. The host was also fabulous! He met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Providing everything we needed to get settled as well as for our little one! We cannot wait to stay again! The place was better than I expected. In reality, everything looked bigger than in the photos. We were therefore positively surprised. The view of the sea and mountains was beautiful. The hosts made a great effort and communicated wonderfully. We could imagine coming back.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We had a lovely stay in Crete! Our villa was so peaceful. You hardly hear any outside life. You most certainly need a car especially if you plan on moving around to see different things. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing! The house had amazing views. Some of the best sunsets we saw. The housekeeper was always on hand for whatever you needed and responded really quickly. Overall an amazing stay.

Such an incredible home tucked away in the Cretan mountains yet close enough to some great restaurants (Maza Cafeneion just around the corner wasn't in the list of recommendations but was one of our favourite restaurants). It's a great option if you're craving nature, greenery and don't want to stick to the touristic areas. The house is spacious, clean and perfectly peaceful. Check out is at 11am however a group of 3-4 people showed up at 10.45am and came into the house to start cleaning whilst we were packing up which we found a little intrusive. Aside from that, the most amazing stay.

The photos don't really do this properly justice. The setting is truly amazing, it's a comfortable space. We had an amazing time. Fit and finish on a few things could be dealt with but very minor things that didn't cause any trouble with our stay. The cleaners came to empty bins and change sheets regularly. You will definitely need a car to get to and from the property.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Logari. Beautiful home that looked just like the photos. Host was extremely responsive and hospitality was top notch… the daily breakfast basket is an amazing touch. The villa is in Xirosterni which is a bit off the beaten path but is charming and we were able to explore the local area as well as travel to both Chania and Rethymno which are each around 45 minutes away. Would definitely return!

Both Ioanna and Spiros were great hosts. Incredibly welcoming and responsive. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa was beautiful, the views from the pool amazing and it was easy to drive to the old town within 6 minutes. The walk to the beach was about 15-20 mins which we did once. I’d highly recommend this villa and the hosts. 😊

we spent a week in this villa. it is perfectly equipped, clean, modern. the heated and large pool is very pleasant. it is 10 minutes from kissamos. The host was very helpful and responsive from the beginning to the end of the stay.

We stayed for 4 nights in late April. A wonderful place in a fantastic location. Everything was as described. It was well appointed with lots of nice touches. They were very helpful with directions, local suggestions, etc. The outside area is large and beautiful. Only minor point to note is that all three bedrooms are on the ground level and there is only one bathroom on that level. The other is small and upstairs by the living room. We would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend this beautiful villa highly enough. We had a wonderful week long stay and it felt like home from home. The villa is very private, set back from the road and has the most stunning view and surroundings. It is very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The pool is absolutely amazing - our children practically lived in it! There is also the dining area and sofa under the veranda, where you can relax in the afternoon heat and take in the amazing views. Mike was an exceptional host - he was very responsive and helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is located a short drive from Almyrida, which has a beautiful beach and several fantastic restaurants that are right on the sea front - amazing views when enjoying your evening meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we definitely hope to return one day!
