Holiday houses in Gavalomouri

The host and his parents who live nearby, were very helpful and good people. The property was as descriibed on the tin. The washing machine, and air conditioning worked with ease and the sunsets wonderful from the balcony. The property was clean and quiet and the bedrooms relaxing. Maybe the shower could be updated but it worked well. The host needs to buy some more saucepans ! Otherwise, you'll need a car as the location Anno Vouves is up the Crete mountain and not on the beach! I would not recommend unless you rent a car from Chania airport - £35 a day all in at peak rates. Use the Greek companies as they're less fussy about excesses. It's about 30 minutes by car to the beaches, and they are generally wonderful. Crete cuisiine is brilliaant.Remember that MAPS is pretty hopeless, while WAZE works better but is still poor in locating places off the beaten track. Generally, a wonderful stay and a great host.

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

Vam passar uns dies molt agradables a la caseta d’en Ioannis. Ens hi sentíem realment com a casa. L’interior i exterior de la casa són molt agradables, nets i cuidats. L’amfitrió, tot i no poder ser-hi per motius personals, sempre es va mostrar molt atent i amable. Pel que fa a l’ubicació, molt bona per explorar la zona!

Un logement exceptionnel avec un hôte exceptionnel. Manolis est le genre de personne qui fait aimer la location AirBnB. La maison est très grande et correspond parfaitement à la description, dans un très petit village isolé mais accessible en voiture très facilement. Tout y est : Terrasses, Barbecue, machine à laver, cuisinière, ustensiles de cuisine, climatisation....on se croirait à la maison et c'est vraiment top ! Le gros plus, c'est Manolis lui-même. A notre arrivée, il prend le temps de nous présenter la maison, de nous recommander sur une carte toutes les plages, les tavernes et les choses à visiter de la région. Le frigo est rempli de bières, nourriture, fruits, café. La cuisine est prêt à être utilisée car Manolis prévoit tout le nécessaire pour ses hôtes (sel, poivre, huile, raki, papier aluminium... ... c'est magique). Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette maison et son hôte est au top. Merci beaucoup Manolis pour ce séjour.

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

There are not enough words to describe how beautiful Villa Greco and its surroundings are. Set amongst olive groves with panoramic views of the mountains it truly is spectacular. From the top floor balcony off the main bedroom you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset. The other top floor bedroom has a balcony and the downstairs bedroom has a patio, all have tables and chairs. The villa is so well equipped and has everything you can possibly need. The garden is beautiful with many colourful shrubs, flowers and fruit trees. It is also very private with no near neighbours. We were met by our host Naoum and his uncle who made us a traditional Cretan meal and left us oranges, avocados, olive oil and wine. What a lovely welcome! Naoum was the perfect host and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was our first visit to Crete and we could not have chosen a better villa. We particularly enjoyed Falassarna Beach 20 km from the villa and Palaiochora, a 55km drive through the mountains.

Ein absoluter Traum – besser geht’s nicht! 🌿🌞 Der Aufenthalt war einfach unvergesslich. Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines Paradies – liebevoll gestaltet, super sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Baumhaus selbst ist nicht nur wunderschön und gemütlich, sondern bietet durch die erhöhte Lage auch einen traumhaften Ausblick. Der Pool ist perfekt für eine Erfrischung und das gesamte Gelände ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt, dass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Gastgeber Iasonas – was für ein toller Mensch! Er war von Anfang bis Ende unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Leidenschaft er in das Baumhaus steckt. Der Check-in war super einfach und entspannt, wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Auch alle anderen Menschen, denen wir vor Ort begegnet sind, waren wahnsinnig nett und offen – eine richtig schöne, familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir kommen aufjeden Fall wieder❤️

Der Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt! Das Haus, das Grundstück und die Lage haben all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war hervorragend. Errika als Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich – besser hätte es nicht sein können! Wir haben absolut nichts auszusetzen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
