Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Gavrio

Very cute apartment right on a beautiful beach with all the space & everything you need. The balcony was a dream. The hosts were very helpful, making our short stay a lot easier for us and the lovely treats waiting for us when we arrived were hugely appreciated after a long morning travelling!

Nicole met us at the bus station and was a super helpful host. Lovely comfortable spacious space in an historic house. Had a great 11 day stay. The kitchen was well equipped and loads of towels, hot water and comfortable beds. Terrace and views perfect. Quiet but only steps away from lovely pedestrian street with good supermarket, bakeries etc. A smaller fresh organic, local products, vegan and fresh veg store nearby too . Best coffee at Biriki. Hiked 7 of the beautiful trails with amazing views using excellent Andros trail map from local bookstore. Taxi and bus used to access some trails including the Panachrantou Monastry and Diptomata Gorge ones . Highly recommend this lovely airbnb and Andros. A hiker’s paradise.

10/10 voor ons verblijf bij Dora! Dora is een fantastische gastvrouw en heeft een heel mooi appartement ingericht voor haar gasten. Met ons gezin van 4 (2 kinderen van 9 en 10 jaar oud) voelden we ons er meteen thuis. Dora is aanwezig en altijd aanspreekbaar voor vragen, maar respecteert tegelijk de privacy van de gasten. De kinderen waren altijd welkom bij haar om met de katten of de superlieve hond Velvet te spelen. Ze mochten mee in de moestuin van Dora om zelf tomaten en verse kruiden te halen. Apoikia is een klein dorpje maar ideale uitvalsbasis om het eiland te verkennen als je een auto hebt. We haalden elke dag water bij de bron 50 meter verder. We maakten vele prachtige wandelingen in de omgeving. We kunnen niet wachten om hier nog eens terug te komen!

We had a magical stay in this beautiful place. The house is basic but very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were stunning and our host made sure we knew what was around us in the local area in the way of restaurants, beaches & things to do. He also has family nearby which was reassuring had we needed anything. We really had a wonderful escape.

George was a super responsive and proactive host and greeted us at the property. the place is as pictured, simple but exactly what you need for some time relaxing on Andros. it's super peaceful and has a private garden and amazing views! the beach is about 3min with car and andros about 7min with car. i recommend renting some transportation to explore surrounding areas and the island. we really enjoyed our stay, would recommend!

Alexandros was very friendly and ready to help and respond in our requests. The place was magnificent with excellent sea view and mountain view at the same time. The villa was really clean, full of amendments in a terrific place and very quite. The private pool was very clean as the surrounding. We thank our host for everything and especially for these unforgettable stay. We suggest it with no doubt !!!!!!!!

I've been coming to Andros for the past 4 years. In my opinion, this is by far the best place to stay in Batsi. Walking distance to absolutely everything you need, including the beach and excellent restaurants (there is literally one across the street!) The place was spotless and very comfortable. Despoina made sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. I also like the fact that, even though the building is centrally located on the main road of Batsi (right on the water), the entrance to the apartment is from a quiet alley in the back. I love a central location (especially with this view!) but I do enjoy a bit of privacy as well. The veranda on the top floor is very very large, with the most breathtaking view of the sea and the bay of Batsi. We sat there for hours, enjoying our drinks, and watching the sunset. I can't wait to be back !

Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος και σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία. Η κυρία Μαρία ήταν πάρα πολύ φιλική και μας παρείχε όλες τις ανέσεις! Έκανε την άφιξη και την αναχώρηση μας ακόμα πιο εύκολη. Θα το πρότεινα ανεπιφύλακτα.

Στο σπίτι του Πέτρου περάσαμε καταπληκτικά. Ο Πέτρος είναι πολύ φιλόξενος και εξυπηρετικός! Είχε φροντίσει για όλα τα απαραίτητα και μη! Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ όμορφο, καθαρό και ωραία τοποθεσία με καταπληκτική θέα. Η διαμονή μας και οι διακοπές ήταν πολύ όμορφες. Θα σας ξανάρθουμε!! ;)

Great stay at Korthi!! Konstantinos was there to welcome us, and Mrs Despoina was helpful too! The location is great, as it’s walking distance from all main points of Korthi, yet very quiet place with a nice view! The room is spacious and clean with a nice comfortable balcony in the front! Totally recommend the place!

ηταν όλα εξαιρετικά. Η κυρία ποπη πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετική μας έλυσε όλες τις απορίες. Η τοποθεσία πολύ καλή και είναι όλα δίπλα στο κέντρο. Θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε σίγουρα

We immediately got a good feeling as Mr. Demetris welcomed us with his big smile and friendly character. He even met us at the port to guide us home, although the house is at a very convenient location close to the port and easy to find. The house is spacious and as shown in the pictures and has a big terrace with a great view. For us travelling with a baby, a very big plus as we get home early at night and can enjoy the evening with a view. Also important was fast 10mins access to our favourite beaches of Fellos, Agios Petros and Psili Ammos. Overall a very pleasant stay and would choose it again for our next time on Andros.

Notre séjour chez Nikos était superbe ! La vue et la terrasse sont l’élément clé de cet Airbnb ! La vue est magnifique sur toute la baie ! Nikos est très gentil, il a tout fait pour nous aider, toujours très pro actif, nous donnant ses bonnes adresses et nous aidant si besoin à chaque fois ! Il nous avait mis tout le nécessaire pour notre bébé à disposition ! Le centre est à 12 min à pied mais agréable car on longe la baie et du coup le Airbnb est très calme car pas en plein centre ! A 3 min à pied il y a une petite crique très mignonne ! Nous recommandons vivement !

We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad in Batsi. Het verblijf is precies zoals beschreven. De communicatie op Batsi verliep via de ouders van Michalis die ernaast wonen. Ze zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam bij alles. We werden verwelkomd met n een flesje wijn, fruit en heerlijke lokale koekjes! Batsi is n gezellig plaatsje met veel restaurantjes, barretjes en n fijn strand. Bedjes kosten 15 euro per set maar je kunt ook zonder bedje gebruik maken van het strand. Wij waren er van 14 tot 19 juni toen was het nog niet druk. Het verblijf is te bereiken via n trap buiten. Voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn misschien niet echt comfortabel. Mijn man gebruikt een wandelstok. Doordat de treden vrij breed zijn ging het wel. Een bakkertje en supermarktje zijn ook in de buurt. Wij hadden n auto waardoor ook veel van de rest van het mooie Andros hebben kunnen zien. Batsi vonden wij het gezelligste plaatsje. Wij komen graag nog n keer terug naar het verblijf van Michalis.

Parfait pour un séjour au calme et au frais. L'accès au logement se fait uniquement à pieds pour les dernier mètres, il n'y a donc pas de voiture dans le village. De plus, le voisinage est discret mais en été le village est vivant. Julia et Simos sont très accueillants, eux aussi très discrets et amateurs de tranquillité. Ils nous ont donné divers conseils sur les ressources proches, les plages tranquilles et les randonnées. La maison est agréable et la terrasse l'est tout autant, avec une vue splendide. Il fait toujours frais car le village se trouve en altitude, ce qui est particulièrement agréable au mois d'août !

We loved staying at at Kelly and Stelios's place. The view is breathtaking. We enjoyed having the kitchenette/eating area on the balcony. The location is great as it's only 5 minutes by car from the port city. We would stay here again!

We loved our stay in the historic mansion! The location was amazing and the space is lovely to spend time in. The beach across the bay from the house was great with kids and it was wonderful to be a staircase away from all the shops and restaurants of the Main Street. Alexandros was very helpful and knowledgeable - we highly recommend his place if you are ever headed to Chora.

We stayed in Avrilia's flat early January when everything is closed for tourists, thanks for the pizzeria on Jan2! Avrilia's flat is just absolutely well laid out and comfy despite the cold in the evening. Avrilia made everything possible so that we were comfortable (hot water, kitchen, heating, sleepers!) and was there to welcome us, January and brave tourists coming to Andros. I recommend and would love to come over again, Andros is worth more than one visit, especially if you stay at Avrilia's in Chora!

Wir sind mit dem Bus angereist. Die Haltestelle befindet sich direkt am Hafen. Von dort aus geht es etwa 5-10 Minuten bergauf bis zur Wohnung. Auch die Hauptstadt der Insel haben mir per Bus besucht. Die Rückreise mussten wir allerdings mit dem Taxi antreten, da es keine zeitige Busverbindung zur Fähre gegeben hat. Eine Taxifahrt zur Fähre kostet 15 €. Von der Wohnung erreicht man wunderbar alles zu Fuß, was man braucht. Eine kleine Auswahl an Lebensmittel gibt es direkt gegenüber. Auch ein größeren Supermarkt, in dem die Einheimischen einkaufen und die Preise wesentlich günstiger sind zu Fuß in circa 10-15 Minuten zu erreichen. Restaurants gibt es ausreichend und Gute am Hafen. Welcher sehr schön am Abend durch eine kleine Gasse zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Wir sind mit unserem dreijährigen Sohn unterwegs gewesen. Es war alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch die beiden Strände sind für Kinder geeignet. Alle anderen Kommentare hier kann ich nur bestätigen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Andros is a gorgeous and unusually green Cyclades island. Easy to get to and lots to do there. Castel Abaso was a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was spotless, had amazingly comfortable beds, and had all the amenities we could wish for. The terrace with a hot tub was a bonus, and the views are fantastic. Chora town is beautiful. We visited in the first two weeks of May and the tavernas and cafes were noticeably opening up in the second week. The staff at Explore Andros were outstanding. Helpful in a very genuine way. We visited their Cafe Fresco every day for breakfast or lunch and they felt like friends by the time we left. Finally - the walks. Hiking maps of the many beautifully maintained trails are widely available. I would say it is virtually impossible to get lost! At every turn there is a marker. Andros is a gloriously varied island, with beautiful waterfalls and lush valleys on the Chora side. We plan to return again and again!

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the owner, Mr. Kostas. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with warmth and genuine kindness. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home, preparing breakfast for us, and always making sure we had everything we needed. His care and generosity are rare to find and deeply appreciated. The apartment itself was perfect thoughtfully arranged, offering a true sense of tranquility. One thing is for sure - Our time in Andros will always remain unforgettable!
