we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

I already miss this house. It’s like a fairytale cottage. So many cute little spaces indoors and out. Character and charm! It’s old with stone steps and some low doorways, so don’t be clumsy. Our hosts were hospitable and kind. We felt right at home. There are many flowers, herbs and trees. Unforgettable.

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

Staying at Maria and her wonderful husband's house was simply overwhelming. The place Charaso is a beautiful village in the mountains and incredible for relaxation. The couple greeted us as warmly as the inhabitants of Crete are. We fell in love with the local pastries that were provided to us and the recommendation for the restaurant Gia mas was really worth its weight in gold. Nowhere on the island have we received such loving mezze for so little money. The neighbors were also incredibly hospitable. Special greetings to Eleftheria (I hope that's how you spell it), we miss you very much. We also hope that every visitor will take some cat food with them. In conclusion, we can only say: nowhere could we have experienced the real Cretan lifestyle better than in our cozy house in the great village of Charaso. We just fell in love.

Very quiet place with amazing views. We really enjoyed our time there. The house is well equipped and has everything your heart desires. In the surrounding villages are very beautiful beaches, which were hardly visited, as well as small tavernas with super tasty and cheap food. We felt very comfortable.

The place was spotless, clean, and tidy. Pamela welcomed us for our short stay in Heraklion. We were well settled there, about fifteen minutes by car from the city center and 10 minutes from the airport, which made it easier to organize the end of our stay.

Four friends and I stayed in this rustic, charming, beautiful and overall homie space for 7 days while we attending a wedding and we all unanimously could not have been more happy! This is a space that you feel so great walking into over and over. I had the best meal of my life with the entire party literally around the corner… maybe 20 steps and we were all in glee. The entire area in old town is gorgeous. You cannot see it any other way. There is a vibe to match your needs somewhere around another corner no matter what you look for on your trip. Shopping was excellent. The feeling of safety was consistent throughout the trip. People are friendly and common throughout the town even throughout the wee morning hours as many places do stay open quite late to always provide an option. I had said by day 1 I knew I would already come back here. Vassilis was a proactive and responsive gentleman in hosting. Truly a pleasure to deal with him and I really do hope to return for vacation. Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

As someone who’s constantly traveling for both work and leisure, it’s rare to come across a place where everything is so well thought out that there’s nothing to comment on, in the best way. This is genuinely one of my favorite stays. The location and views are magical and the attention to detail across the property is impressive. The pool and garden were always perfectly maintained and for a mountain spot, it’s not easy to find such clear, bug-free water. The team on site was great, always helpful without being intrusive. The food at the restaurant isn’t fancy but it’s honest, home-cooked, and made with care. Thank you for everything, I’d definitely come back and already started recommending it to friends.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We just loved everything about this airbnb!!!!! The house was AMAZING, incredible views, incredible features, we went to the pool, did barbecue, breakast with ocean view, everything and more we expected! Konstations is THE BEST host we ever got!! Not only he was hiper reactive, attentious ( he made sure to got us on the airport so we arrive well, his mom cooked us food because they would imagine we would arrive late and hungry), incredibly generous and nice!! We have many tips and support during the full trip ! Everything and more that we expected! Thank you again

This was literally the best airbnb I have ever stayed in, with the best host to match. Katerina is an elite host and so, so lovely to work with. She treats you like old friends! She went above and beyond. And the house....I don't have enough space to tell you how great it is. 10/10 cannot recommend enough and I hope we get to see her again some day.

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

The check-in was very easy and was well described. Place was very clean and just like in the photos. Stella was very courteous and proactive. The check out was also straightforward. I have nothing to complain about and am completely satisfied.

We had a very nice stay at the Tiny Villa :) It was all very clean and well maintained, the communication was very pleasant and easy, when we had questions we didn't have to wait long for an answer. In addition, cats came by very often who were very loving and would certainly be happy if you fed them from time to time :)

Comfortable, private apartment with everything you need for a peaceful stay. We slept well every night. Very tidy and well set out with contemporary furniture and small functional kitchen. Lots of outside space and places to park. Taverna beside the apartment and only a 10 minute drive into the shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Easy to get to the main road. Too many nice details and additions to list. Definitely recommend.

Great stay for family of 4. Private backyard with clothing rack was very useful for doing laundry and drying clothes. Kitchen had everything we needed and closet had lots of supplies. Highly recommend!

Perfect for our family

We had a wonderful stay at the Gaea Loft! The check-in went completely smoothly. Titos greeted us on our arrival with freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries and fresh eggs from his chickens. He is a very kind and likeable man, who cares very much about the successful stay of his guests. The listing exactly matches the pictures. It is clean, spacious and extremely well equipped (spices, oil, luggage scale, cooling packs, etc.). Each living room is equipped with air conditioning that quickly cools the room to the desired temperature. The view is beautiful, you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the balcony. The loft is accessible via a separate front door. You always have complete privacy. We can recommend the Gaea Loft to anyone!!
