FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

After a gravel road up on a mountain in the heart of the fine forest you will find the tranquility of this gem with everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Here you live with the silence in the middle of nature, right by a lake but with all the amenities you might need. In the nearby area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a ride on any snowmobile trail.

The house has a great location on the edge of a small town with views overlooking the town. It has both easy access to town amenities, and direct access to the forest. On the short quiet street there is a community heritage homestead at one end serving light snacks on weekdays, and a newly finished children's play park at the other end. It is only a short distance away from the many lakes and places of natural beauty! Come and explore!

The Sculptured House is built with natural, recycled and local materials, in harmony with its surrounding nature. This calm retreat offers an inspirational experience for those who look for a stress-free environment. It has a cozy sleeping loft with nice views and you have your own dry toilet. Ob es hier im Winter, wenn die Eisschollen den Fluß hinunter treiben am schönsten ist, oder im Sommer, wenn Sie Ihren eigenen feinsandigen Badestrand geniessen und mit einem Boot eine Flussfahrt unternehmen , entscheiden Sie selbst! Das 2018 erbaute Haus ist unter modernen Aspekten winterfest erbaut worden. Ein Brunnen mit Trinkwasserqualität ist hier selbstverständlich. Zum Haus gehört ebenso das eigene Fischereirecht!

Cosy log cabin stuga 2

This is a cosy stuga without electricity and no running water built in the traditional way. There is a woodstove to heat or prepare meals as well as a 2 ring gascooker. A sleeping loft with two single matreses who can be put together. There is a outside toilet on the premises as well as a Finnish wood heated sauna . You will have to bring your own wood for the cabin and the sauna and your own towels for the sauna.
