Boat holiday rentals in Gelderland

What a lovely experience at Windbruid with Captain Sandra at the helm. We had planned a weekend in Amsterdam, but with 3 nights and 1 day sailing ahead of this. We were 5 couples and all had a great experience, including those who didn't quite love sailing. But we got much wiser on the beautiful old sailing ship, and on how the boat behaves on the water, as well as the sail and its features. Gasten Michael was really skilled at explaining knobs, and he and Sandra provided an unforgettable delightful experience. The rest of the time we were tourists in Amsterdam, but it was definitely the boat ride, which made the biggest impression. Thanks so much for a really nice experience

Can highly recommend staying here. So nice to return to after a busy day sightseeing in Amsterdam. Near bus stop, 10 mins walk away, takes you straight to Amsterdam Central station. Get off at bus stop before station if you do not need metro, we walked everywhere. We used credit card each for bus, swipe on and then swipe as you get off, about 7 euro return. The Johanna is just a joy to be on, comfortable and clean with stunning views. Everything that you need and more is supplied. Sandra and her partner are a joy to deal with, checking in with us to ensure all was ok.

Nice host, nice space. Bedrooms are of course small. Beds are good. No dishwasher. We didn't mind but good to know. Beautiful berth.

We loved this unique stay, the ship and all its amenities were perfect for families. We all had a great time and ship ticked all the boxes. There was enough space to spend some time with our family stayed at a hotel walk distance in the charming town Wijk bij Duurstede. We highly recommend this stay if your after ‘something different and fun’.

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

We had a wonderful stay and intensely enjoyed the boat. Everything was provided and the boat is fantastically equipped. We did miss some (extra) blackout on the boat, because without curtains it was very quickly light in the morning. ;-)

Atypical place and perfect for large groups. Responsive host on site if needed. Convenient location, not far from Amsterdam. I would highly recommend it!

Leon was super friendly right from the get-go. We were able to check-in earlier than usual, which was very much appreciated. Leon provided several recommendations for supermarkets, and was very helpful with everything else. We had a lovely time, and would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a calm recluse.

The boat was very original, simple and lived up to the description. We enjoyed having an aperitif at sunset with the singing of the little ducks. The open-air pool was also a perfect ally at 28°C. Steven is an attentive and very responsive host. We recommend

We were a group of 9 friends and we were very comfortable. Very practical and authentic to the place. We recommend the experience. We had a problem with the heating at first but Renco took care of it and everything was perfect. Thank you very much for everything

This was quite luxury! 2 older couples travelling together and it was perfect! The host is an amazing human being, the boat is moored with phenomenal views and it is so quiet. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. All four of us highly recommend this location.
