Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Georgian Bay

Had a fabulous (and alas, all-too-brief) stay at this architectural gem, located in a quiet and tranquil setting just a few minutes from the centre of Owen Sound. Sim was a wonderful host -- communicative and with lots of tips for things to see and do in the district. We aim to return as soon as possible!

Diana and Eric were an absolute pleasure to stay with. The bnb felt very cozy and provided the perfect “cabin in the woods” vibe. The hosts were always willing to help and the household pets were delightful.

The most essential feeling when away from home is to be somewhere where it feels just like home. Jens quaint, welcoming, clean, homey space does just that, makes you feel relaxed without a hiccup that you are away from your own personal space. Jen is an amazing, down to earth host that welcomes you like you had known her for years. I couldn’t have been more impressed with her hospitality and the most amazing comfort and ease she puts you at. Why would anyone want to stay anywhere else? I know if I require future accommodations, without a second thought I will return to this wonderful home and the host that makes it so. Thank you Jen, I’ve appreciated you more than you know.

I had such a lovely and restful stay at Lynn’s place, it was just what I needed. I felt completely welcomed and cared for. The hot breakfasts Lynn prepared were incredible, and the atmosphere of the home was so calm and comforting. Her sweet dog Teddy was quiet, friendly, and an absolute delight to be around. Lynn also gave great local recommendations and helped with reservations. Her kindness really stayed with me throughout the stay!

Brenda’s place is amazing. We (me and my friend) stayed the night at barn and it was beautiful. Everything was planned and accommodated according to our requirements. Brenda is very polite. 18 mins drive from BNB to the beach where you can enjoy the mesmerising sunset. And a farm nearby to make Alpaca your friend. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you Brenda. Will plan to visit again soon.

What an amazing weekend. Suzanne was an outstanding hostess. She always made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Suzanne shared great local attractions to check out and always made sure we left for our adventures with a warm snack for the road. I’ll be sure to come back.

A wonderful stay at Marilyn’s beautiful home. She was a very gracious and lovely host. Everything was very comfortable and clean and it was a true pleasure to sit out on the porch and able to be able to walk to the Square and the Celtic Roots Festival so easily. Marilyn cooked us delicious breakfasts and made sure we had everything we could have wanted. This is a true gem! Highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

We were looking for a dog friendly stay that’s easy access to the Bruce Peninsula National Park. Darlene’s Bed and Breakfast was ideal. It was easy to find and within easy driving distance to all the attractions. Some are walkable but we drove. It was the perfect base to come and go while we visited the hiking trails. It’s walking distance to the cruises. The room had a fridge and wine glasses and corkscrew was provided. The bathroom had lovely touches like make-up wipes and cotton swabs. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion was also provided along with lots of towels. The internet connection was adequate. The room had access to our own private deck. It was convenient for taking the dog out. It was peaceful. And, I cannot forget to mention, Darlene was the most attentive breakfast host. She went out of her way to have vegan options for my husband. The rest of the time she left us to go about our plans. Her home was welcoming and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful short stay at Ela’s place! The home was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Ela was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

What a treat it was to stay with Ann! Her home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and everything in her home told a story! What truly made this stay unforgettable, though, was our incredible host. Ann made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The best part of our stay was listening to Ann talk about her incredible adventures (although her world famous pancakes are a close second!). If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, charm, and world-class hospitality, this is it. Ann left us feeling inspired and yearning for adventure. We can't wait to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Sean is a great host, very responsive and friendly, and had lots of suggestions and information about things to see and do in the area. This is a very quiet and peaceful setting. The porch is a great place to sit, soak up the quiet surroundings, listen to the birds, and sip my morning coffee.

Such an incredible location. Hard to believe one was in a suburb of Toronto...looked more like Nantucket or Rhode Ilsand or Long Island!!! Cute beachy houses with turrets, balconies and octagonal windows dotted along the Lake Ontario shoreline. Birds everywhere...of every species...flying about with the sparkling lake in the background. Niyosha's home was stunning in every way. If you prefer to do a lot of cooking, this isnt the place for you...but if you are ok with having some food in the fridge in your room and then popping it into the microwaves while you are snuggling in a very comfy bed watching t.v....it is perfect!! Niyosha was professional and friendly and respected your privacy, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was a spa like room, with a shower that hit you at every angle as well as a bidet. Lovely amenities on the countertop for guests to use at their leisure. The neighborhood is very quiet and it is an easy walk from the Rouge Hill Go train station. Great stay!!!

Trang was a great host, easy to communicate with and there was always help and a solution to anything that may need it. She gave great local recommendations and the house was very easy to commute from into down town, as-well as yorkdale mall with all the designer you can think of.

The stay with Dorota and Mirek was one of my best stays ever. Everything about their place is serene and beautiful. The peaceful sound of waves outside, soft piano music inside, warm, cozy and super clean interiors, fragrant aromatic pouches in every corner of wardrobes, homemade and home grown food and Dorota and Mirek's hospitality will blow you away. Their home reflects their love for each other and their surroundings and staying in it is an experience in itself. They go out of their way to ensure their guests are safe and enjoy their stay. Mirek even sweeps the algae inside the lake to ensure people don't slip while swimming!! Dorota ensured I got yummy vegetarian breakfast and they set up a fire in their gorgeous fire place for all guests one night. We had an amazing time listening to such interesting stories of fellow guest and Dorota's local recommendations ensured i prebooked parkings where required. Staying with them was a very heartwarming and unforgettable experience

Excellent stay! There are some cute places to check out on the Main Street but we stayed to eat at The Pine. Check it out you won’t be disappointed, Michelin star! This was the perfect place to stay after our meal so we didn’t have to drive home.

Deena's home was lovely, and the perfect spot for my cousin and I to call home base as we explored Toronto. We even joked it felt like we were staying with family! Her breakfast and endless cappuccinos were appreciated. The upstairs room was spacious and private, and had its own lock on the door. Really wonderful stay and would stay again.

Our stay with Elaine and Markus was truly wonderful! They were so welcoming, kind and generous. We could not have asked for a better experience in their most incredible home! Heading about the creation of this special, unique property added an extra touch, along with the most wonderful home baked goods for breakfast! We will definitely be back next time we visit Canada and cannot recommend the property and hosts enough!

Perfect for a short getaway. Stuart’s B&B is just what you need if you’re looking to escape the city, but not go too far. The listing was exactly as described, including the breakfast. What we enjoyed the most—besides the lake view—were the boat rides. Stuart and his wife are excellent hosts; they were always attentive and made us feel right at home. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake even more.
