Family-friendly holiday rentals in Geratal

Our accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great for visiting many interesting places. We enjoyed the garden and trees and the rural setting. Apolda itself was an unexpected bonus, as was our very friendly hostess Erika.

We had a great short break in Ziegenrück. We liked the house even better in person than in the photos. The play and relaxation options in the garden leave nothing to be desired. Although the neighbors are not far away, the garden is private behind green hedges. We particularly liked that every detail was well thought out and every smallest space was used sensibly. Above all, the furnishings of the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. The beds were very comfortable, our son grabbed the bunk and slept blissfully in it. We have nothing to complain about and recommend the accommodation without reservation!

I highly recommend! Check in was easy, the apartment was spot on and location was in a great spot on.

The stay with Olaf and Nicole was wonderful. Also worth mentioning is the super travel directions. We were very nicely received, and everything was shown and explained to us. The house was very clean, everything as you would expect and everything you need in it, as well as some games. Olaf also helped us and stoked the pool. Wonderful location, beautiful view over the city, perfect for pursuing your hobbies undisturbed or simply relaxing in the whirlpool in the sun. Thank you very much and I'd be happy to come back! We were there with the whole family (15 people) and very satisfied. There was enough space and in the large living room we could all sit comfortably together. The whirlpool and garden were also used extensively :). The beds were very comfortable and the sofa beds were also provided with a topper, so that the children slept really well. Definitely a clear recommendation.

Katja's apartment absolutely met my expectations. During our weekend, we found it to be an oasis of tranquility where you could completely leave the outside world behind. The spacious living area invites you to cook and play together and the sleeping options were comfortable and cozy. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which we were allowed to use in January at an outside temperature of 0°C. A hike on the Ettersberg rounded off our weekend and many Weimar restaurants deliver their food to Gaberndorf. A great, modern apartment with friendly hosts that we will definitely book again! :)

We absolutely loved the place! The location is great - beautiful in the countryside and completely quiet and peaceful. Maria and her family were very friendly, and helpful. The terrace is completely fenced, so we were able to park our dog there well. The occasional barking was also friendly by the hosts. And then the sauna and the hot pot - there are no wishes left unfulfilled!

Sometimes you come to a vacation apartment and feel that everything is just right! That's how it was in Susann's apartment. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay in Weimar very much. The quiet balcony was the place to end the evenings. Thank you and we plan to come back

Beautiful traditional old house. Interesting and good experience!

Super great place - we would definitely come back if we are in Weimar again. On foot a nice walk to the center(about 15 min), quietly located, have breakfast beautifully undisturbed on the terrace in the sun. Also equipped 1A; even with extras such as slippers (is also quite cold foot), various Playing and books, hot water bottle, coffee grinder & milk frother, tea, spices, etc.

There were two of us with a toddler and we felt very comfortable. A travel cot fits wonderfully into the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bathroom there are all kinds of utensils in case you forgot something. Communication was flawless and they were always available. The surrounding area is village and quiet. The hosts' sheep can be observed directly from the kitchen and bathroom. A highlight for our daughter. There is free parking is available right in front of the house. We recommend the place and had a nice time. Everything easily accessible from Zeigerheim.

We enjoyed the stay and felt very comfortable. The furnishings are top-notch and the winter garden invites you to a nice breakfast. The location is perfect. If you go to the right, it only takes 10 minutes to reach the first attraction (Bachhaus). If you go left and follow the street and the signs, you will be at the entrance to the Dragon Gorge in 25 minutes. Only the WiFi was a bit weak, but that didn't bother us much. We highly recommend Airbnb!

We really enjoyed our stay at Udo's. We were warmly welcomed and felt immediately comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and invite you to hike. The vacation home matches the description and is very clean. We can only recommend Udo and his little vacation home.

Very nice and clean apartment in a quiet location. Kitchen and bathroom are perfectly equipped. Hosts Uwe and Christel are very nice and helpful. Excursion destinations are easily accessible by car. I had a very nice getaway, clear recommendation. Many thanks!

We stayed with 2 families for an extended weekend in Kathi's house. The house and the spacious garden invite you to relax. Everything was clean and well maintained and Kathi was quick to respond to all questions and was very helpful.

We had a nice week stay at Angelika's. Shops are nearby, the tram station is also just 5 minutes away. It's a nice, privates apartment with all sorts of kitchen equipment and toys for kids. We can only recommend a stay at Angelika's! 😊

Bad Sulza is very clear and nothing is more than 20 minutes walk from the property. Also some circular & hiking trails lead along the address of Anja Haus. Good local recreation!

Special, appealing ambiance, modern furnishings and top amenities. Absolutely quiet. Easy communication. Possibility to buy drinks. You can go on countless hikes from the property. Perfect for active relaxation and relaxing.

Pleasant host, various cottages in nature, very close to nature. Two lovely family-friendly dogs were the highlight for our children. Companies in the vicinity possible.

We spent a wonderful week in Christine's apartment. The welcome was warm and everything was prepared for the baby and my grandson (6 years old)... Cot, high chair, toys, etc. We were able to use the pool actively and relax in the very well-kept garden. Thank you!

We spent an extended weekend in Mühlhausen. Since we are always looking for something with our little dog with a garden and dog-friendly environment, the city apartments caught our eye, as this was exactly what was visible in the pictures. Our expectations were surpassed. All super accommodating and friendly and in the middle of the city still having such a great garden is very nice. Clear recommendation and if we are around again, we will also choose the Burkhard family again.
