Cottage holiday rentals in Gers

We left at 3 with our 2 and a half year old and had a memorable stay! The owner was very welcoming, the timeless place close to the horses in a green setting! The house is very nice, functional and contains everything you need with a hot tub as a bonus! We went on a horseback ride especially for my son and my wife. The host was ultra flexible and available to accommodate our constraints. She even let us check out later to make it easier for us with our child's pace. Go there without so much as a second thought!

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautifully renovated cottage. Emmanuelle's hospitality is exceptional as we have never had! Many gifts including fresh eggs from the farm! We felt at home in total autonomy and it's very pleasant… thank you again for this beautiful weekend!

We rented to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had a great time, 'plancha available', jacuzzi perfect for a relaxing time in the middle of nature. Very nice place. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Lovely big house with a great pool and yard. We stayed for a month with six people and really enjoyed our stay. Just a note to digital nomads that the house wifi is not good enough to work by, you would need to buy your own SIM card. Larressingle is a very cute tiny village. Try to get a tour of it at the tourist information centre. It helps you appreciate what you are seeing.

10 days in Southern French paradise for the family! Hélene and her charming and picturesque house filled with history and tastefully decorated in French country style welcomed us and gave us an unforgettable immersion. The most idyllic nature overlooking the forest and fields, tranquility and the harmony of nature united with the lovely garden with old trees, lovely terraces and a wonderful pool - large and beautifully landscaped. We are full of energy and gratitude after this vacation. We sincerely hope to be able to come back one day.

We are a family of 5 who stayed with Paul for 5 weeks. It was super nice with kids and we had a great time. Mezin is cute little village with a couple of cafes, baker, butcher, pharmacy and a small supermarket. Lots of nice cities to visit in the surrounding area.

Great place to recommend without hesitation! We were looking for peace and quiet to work and spent one week in a perfect setting. The cottage is very comfortable, cozy and super well-equipped. It feels like home. Roxane and David were very welcoming and available, while leaving us our privacy. It is a real joy to be able to walk around the small pond to observe all these locals:).

A truly magical stay! We had the most wonderful time at this charming Airbnb in Gers. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home — the space is incredibly cozy and warm, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The hosts were absolute gems: kind, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The swimming pool was such a treat, especially with the stunning countryside as a backdrop. There was absolutely everything we needed — the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking proper meals, and to top it all off, there was a bathtub right in the bedroom! Talk about luxury. We stayed here with our 2 young children and it was the ideal playground for them. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with comfort, character, and hosts who truly care, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

We spent five days in Sombrun and we loved it! The house is perfectly well-equipped to accommodate a group of 8 people; everything is nice. The outdoors is also very well thought out for summer days, with a Pool House equipped with Bluetooth speakers for great poolside moments! Morten, the host, is very responsive and especially attentive. She took the time to send us little messages to make sure we were settled in and happy, which we greatly appreciated. We therefore recommend ++++ staying in Sombrun if you have the opportunity, it's pure happiness! As for us, we are already planning our next trip ;) Thanks Morten!

This was a blissful getaway for a friend and I with our three children, aged 5, 13 and 15. It is remote, so you will certainly need a car (nearest convenience store a 10 min drive) but for a holiday to switch off it is perfect. It feels like a home from home, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Given the location, do bring insect repellent as in the evenings there are lots of mosquitos (but that's just the countryside). All the kids loved the inflatables and we enjoyed the lovely sun loungers and outside dining area. The house is well stocked with games and the tennis court was also used. Well positioned to visit all the local towns (favourites are Vic Fezensac, Condom and Auch for the best Hypermarket) I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you are scared of wasps, they do live in the stone wall that surround the pool, so will come out on a hot day - although if you leave them alone they are just thirsty and won't sting. Hope to return again if they'd have us!

Very pleasant stay at Sophie's despite bad weather. The place is very beautiful and well maintained, a real Noah's arch. Our only comment would be to specify that the room in which the second kitchen is located is attached to the guest house but does not have direct access to the guest house, so you have to leave the house to get to this room. Its proximity to the pool is still a charming room! For the rest, the accommodation is tastefully decorated and is very well equipped. Sophie was very friendly and gave good advice. We had the chance to taste its lemon drizzle, a lemon cake with the typical British recipe, like Sophie. One of the best we've tasted so far! We will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

We had a great week with family in this superb cottage, tastefully renovated and comfortable (special mention for the bedding and kitchen equipment), perfectly clean, and from where the view of the vineyards and countryside is beautiful at all times, especially for the sunset. A big thank you to Franck for hosting us and for the care he took to make our stay perfect!

Excellent hospitality from Véronique and Pierre. Lots of attention to us, very responsive to our requests. A lot of discretion too to make us feel perfectly at home. It may be missing an indoor lounge to rest in the shade of the heat, but the magnificent swimming pool as well as the petanque court largely compensate for this lack, in this magnificent setting.

Thank you for this little magical family break in the middle of all these little villages that we didn't know and that we loved discovering, it's a little haven of peace, everything is there! Thank you again, we intend to repeat this experience!

We spent 3 days at Christian and Arlette's, completely disconnected, in a quiet and beautiful corner of nature. The welcome was very warm with discreet hosts who took care of us! The listing is as described, the linen smelled really good and we didn't want for anything … We recommend this listing without hesitation!!!!

Charming cottage furnished with great taste. Very quiet environment, exactly what we were looking for. Very well equipped cottage, especially in kitchen equipment. Very pleasant exterior even in winter. It makes you want to come back to the sunny days. We are never disappointed when we come to stay in the Gers and this stay in Manciet was no exception. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful house in an idyllic rural setting surrounded by lovely views, fields and wildlife. The pool area is fantastic and we spent many happy afternoons with our children playing there. The property is very pretty, internally is simply furnished. The kitchen is small for a party of 6 guests and we felt the bathrooms are slightly dated, however we still had a fantastic week. Michael and Irene were very welcoming and accommodating.
