House holiday rentals in Gettysburg

Stunning property, the house and pool were incredible. Loved the peacefulness of the property and the surrounding amenities….. it felt like home!!!

This BnB is in contention for my FAVORITE stay of all time. Family of 6 adults and 1 child had more than enough space, and Jeanne really made our stay effortless. We felt right at home and we didn't have to make that last minute trip to the store you sometimes have to make bc the host skimped on providing toilet paper or dish soap, because she honestly thought of EVERYTHING ❤️ My granddaughter loved the pool and dips in the hot tub after swimsmade the adults happy. The location and view are to die for, and the two pups were ecstatic playing in the large fenced area. We spent a lot of time outside, plenty of furniture, fire pit, just eating dinner on the deck. (Missing NOTHING in the kitchen either!) Our last night we spent sitting and talking on the deck trying to identify the multitude of frog voices from the pond, before we parted ways to our various home states. I am most grateful for memories made and we are definitely considering a repeat! ❤️Thank you!

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

Our experience at the Wizards Escape was amazing! Nate, our host, was the best. He checked in to make sure that we were getting the best experience out of the house. The atmosphere is unreal! We really felt we were at Hogwarts Castle. The bedrooms are so full of detail. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could imagine. The Great Hall is magical! The escape rooms.. fantastic. We only stayed 2 days but tried to get in all the activities that were available. We played quidditch golf, did escape rooms, had a scavenger hunt, made great meals in the Weasley's kitchen. We had dinner in the Great Hall under the levitating candles while listening to the Harry Potter music in the background. This house is a home to be experienced. We are definitely coming back!

We had a BLAST, staying with Kyle. The place was so inviting and fun for our grandchildren…yes, fun for us as well. The beds were perfect which can’t be said of all places we’ve stayed. I wish we could have stayed longer! Kyle, keep up the great hospitality! It was beyond what we expected! Thank you for everything!

If I could give Tim’s place more than 5 stars, I would! It’s off the beaten path, but that’s what make his Place so inviting. All the amenities you could hope for! Definitely the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at in the States! Got to chat with Tim on my last night there and it was great. I loved the chocolate chip cookies that were presented upon our arrival. I’m looking forward to visiting his place again, if I can. My grandkids loved playing on the grounds and the dogs 🐶 enjoyed roaming around. This is a gem of a place and I 100% recommend you consider staying there. 1000 Kudos!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

This house was perfect for our stay in MD. Our family of six was very comfortable here and our kids loved the pool and spa. The house is clean, cute and very cozy. Tanya was very quick to respond and great to work with!

We stayed in Gettysburg for a family wedding and to visit historical Gettysburg. Finding just the right rental is always a fun process for us, as we’d rather not stay in a hotel if possible; The Wolf Den was perfection! We absolutely loved the off-the-beaten-path location and it is such a lovely home. To say Scott and Nicole keep a tidy home is an understatement! Not only was it impeccably clean, but it was so warm and inviting with a little something to admire in each room! We were visited by a mama deer, her yearling and her brand new fawn! We also caught a glimpse of a turkey strolling through the front yard. (Things we miss living in Florida) The tree-filled views are equally breathtaking. If we are in the area again, this is a definite repeat location. Thank you Scott and Nicole ☺️

The home was absolutely perfect for what we needed! The layout is wonderful, the fireplace room was a perfect place to sit and read, and we felt like we had more than enough room to not feel smothered if we were all inside! Our four daughters loved the rooms and it was the perfect location - close enough to all things Gettysburg so we could stop back at home for naps, lunch, etc. but removed enough to be peaceful and not feel too cramped by the busyness of town. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone and would plan to come back as soon as we can!

a lovely old farmhouse surrounded by lots of open space. very clean and spacious. plenty of room for the seven of us traveling together. I would highly recommend Heidi as a host and this property

Fantastic property, fantastic hosts. A+. So many amenities, nothing was overlooked. Very clean and orderly. Loved the layout. Screened in porch was perfect, patio, hot tub, use of kayaks, freshly baked bread, entire interior was awesome. I’m telling you, nothing was overlooked in making our stay so memorable. Thinking about booking? Do it now. You won’t regret it. This can’t be beat.

Clean, cute, and updated house. Loved having the washer and dryer at the end of the trip. Liked that Clay had recommendations of places to eat and visit. His recommendation on Mr. G’s ice cream was spot on, I did not regret it! Only issue I had was with the vent in the bedroom with the Queen bed, did not allow for much cold air from the A/C, but thankfully the portable fan provided helped. If I ever come back to Gettysburg, I hope the house is available again.

This home was gorgeous! Super clean everything. Kitchen was well stocked with everything to make a meal. Bedrooms we clean. Beds and bedding were SUPER comfy. Plenty of towels and linens. Even though my children were not with me on this trip as a mom I appreciated little things for small children like a stool in the bathroom, and a booster seat for the table etc…. We had a small personal emergency (not Airbnb related) and Mark was incredibly understanding and worked with us to help us get through it. He was a lifesaver! I cannot say enough positive things about this Airbnb. We plan to book again for sure!!

House was beautiful and our host Becky was amazing. Prompt messages and instructions from Becky made the self check in so easy and quick. House was immaculate and beds were very comfortable, there was even plenty of extra blankets! I can’t say enough for the location it was private and very quiet. But only minutes from stores and historical Gettysburg. We spent hours on the back porch enjoying the backyard especially in the morning for the sunrise! I highly recommend this house and Becky.

The house is beautifully restored and the location is wonderful, very peaceful and scenic. We really enjoyed our short stay. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bathrooms and bedrooms are lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching fireflies twinkling in the trees in the field across the road! Andy communicated everything we needed to know and was very responsive. Great Airbnb. We hope to come back again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jennifer & Robb’s Airbnb in Hanover. You know when you walk into a space and just FEEL that “we made a great choice” vibe? That was us!! Located in a charming, quiet neighborhood, we appreciated the thoughtful touches, the attention to details, and the tastefully decorated spaces that provided the perfect place for us to relax at the end of each day. Jenn & Robb’s Hanover Airbnb is SPOTLESS, has excellent WiFi (husband was able to focus on graduate work each day), a true spa-like shower, and an amazingly comfortable bed. We could’ve easily stayed longer. Stay here if you plan to visit the area. We were here solely to explore Gettysburg and to spend a day at West Point. There’s a lot more to do, and Jenn & Robb will offer plenty of suggestions if you need.

Staying at the Sunset House was great. Exactly what we needed. Kelly’s communication was awesome and she was very easy to ask questions. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. She has snacks and local info that is included in the stay. The location is quiet and peaceful and we even got a beautiful sunset one of the nights while sitting outside on the balcony. The house is only a couple miles away from downtown Gettysburg and is very easy to get to. Our weekend went to quickly and we hated to leave. We 100% will stay here if we visit Gettysburg again. We had a great stay! The home and property were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We didn’t have a need to contact the host during our visit, but everything was smooth and well-prepared. One of our favorite parts was the koi pond — such a lovely touch! We were a little bummed there wasn’t any food available to feed the fish, but it was still a joy to watch them. The water fountains were also a nice touch and did a great job masking any nearby road noise. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Tina and Pete were incredible hosts. Their home was amazing. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The location was within walking distance from the town square. The added benefit of the ADA bathroom and bedroom was so helpful for my mother. We loved the 3rd floor game room. They gave us great recommendations for dinners and even had homemade baked goods waiting for us upon arrival. I can't wait to stay there again.

This house was perfect! It was beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located close to all Gettysburg attractions! It is situated in a quiet subdivision which was nice to come back to and relax. It has a beautiful deck and nice sized bedrooms. Plenty of space for those in your party so everyone isn’t on top of each other. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back! Great hospitality!

Nancy and Jim were such gracious hosts. They checked on us throughout the week, offered to do a mid-week laundry update, and made our children feel right at home. Their property is absolutely amazing and offered the serenity we needed on an otherwise busy trip. We can't wait to stay again!

Loved our stay! We travelled for a dog show and this was a perfect place for us. It was private and peaceful. There was a lot of room to walk the dogs and they really enjoyed the smells and all the nature. The cottage is very roomy, had everything we needed, and very comfortable.
