Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gettysburg

We went on our annual friend trip here and it was incredible. Jeanne was a fabulous host and was so responsive. We tend to ask a lot of questions and Jeanne was always responsive and willing to answer our questions quickly and thoroughly. The driveway to the house is extremely long and very wooded, but the driveway was all paved, so it makes it very easy to drive up to the house. The little details (i.e. the toilet paper being folded into bows, the basket of s'mores ingredients, and the blankets for the fireside) did not go unnoticed and were a great touch! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well-kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing! We are absolutely thrilled we got a chance to visit this place and we hope to be back soon! Thanks for everything!

Anne and Chad are fantastic hosts. The B&B is an awesome place with so much history and charm. Its spacious rooms and large backyard offer all the opportunities you could want. The kitchen was completely stocked with all necessary items and the prepared food that was waiting for us was delicious and generous. A perfect place for families with all ages. And no better places for family dogs.

We had a short but nice stay here! We really appreciated the quick responses and thorough explanations of everything. We also appreciated the cookies and couple of waters that we so desperately needed after such a long trip! The place itself is just how it looks in pics and isn’t too far away from the downtown area ☺️

We loved our short stay at Mason’s place!! We needed a peaceful getaway to just relax and it’s exactly what we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and we hiked all around the property and campgrounds! Had so much fun connecting with nature and relaxing. Also loved how many amenities, spices, oils, pots and pans, etc in the kitchen!!

My husband, father in law and I stayed here for Ford Nationals. It’s a beautiful home and very peaceful. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed at on Airbnb !

Kayla has gone above and beyond to create a welcoming and truly comfortable AirB&B experience. The house has EVERYTHING that you could possibly want in a rental. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies, a full coffee bar, every bathroom essential you could think of, comfortable beds, plenty of extra linens, blankets, towels, etc. The house is well equipped to handle babies and dogs as well as multiple people. She has placed Information everywhere so there’s never a question as to how anything works, and her guidebook is full of information and suggestions about the local area. The yard is great for hanging out. She is responsive and just all-around an absolute super host. We had a wonderful time staying at this house and it was truly one of the best Airbnb‘s I’ve ever stayed at. If you are looking for a family location in the Gettysburg area, do not hesitate to book this house.

Such a beautiful retreat - close to downtown Berkeley Springs but just far enough away to feel completely secluded. the view from every room and balcony was gorgeous. The house has nearly everything you need right there - we especially appreciated the kitchen having seasonings & all of the pots/pans/dishes you need to cook. Our goal was having a few days to rest and spend time with each other, and that's exactly what we were able to do. The game room was a real treat, and the bowl of conversation starters in the living room was such a fun way to hang out without just having the TV on.

We had a great golf weekend in the area and really liked the accommodations. It was private, enough to fit 8 golfers, and close to many of the course we played. We will go back again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were able to bring our dogs and she has a nice area for them to run in. Our kids felt comfortable and were able to swim. We did not spend much time at the property as we were there for a softball tournament, it was perfect for what we needed. Elisa was very kind and responsive.

Teddi and Adam were great hosts and have such a beautiful place that provided some much needed peace and quiet! We really enjoyed our stay!

Heather's place was as described. Clean and neatly organised. The linens and towels were very clean. The facilities available were adequate. The kitchen is not a full kitchen but has enough for heating. We had left some medicines behind and Heather and her team spotted it, and communicated the same to us. In addition, they took the trouble to drop it off at the local FedEx office.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house offered so many things for us to do as a family. We had such a good time playing darts, pingpong, board games, and hanging out around the fire pit. The Woods is our favorite place to go because of all the amenities. Highly recommend!

If I could give Tim’s place more than 5 stars, I would! It’s off the beaten path, but that’s what make his Place so inviting. All the amenities you could hope for! Definitely the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at in the States! Got to chat with Tim on my last night there and it was great. I loved the chocolate chip cookies that were presented upon our arrival. I’m looking forward to visiting his place again, if I can. My grandkids loved playing on the grounds and the dogs 🐶 enjoyed roaming around. This is a gem of a place and I 100% recommend you consider staying there. 1000 Kudos!

This house was perfect for our stay in MD. Our family of six was very comfortable here and our kids loved the pool and spa. The house is clean, cute and very cozy. Tanya was very quick to respond and great to work with!

The home and outdoor living area were well appointed with something for all ages and for any weather to entertain our extended family. The home was clean upon arrival, the furnishings were very comfortable, and the outdoor entertainment options were even better than when we originally booked the place. Our family had an amazing time!

Great place to stay. It was beautiful. There is a bar/restaurant right down the road for those that don’t want to cook. I would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Eagle’s Nest in Cacapon, West Virginia! The house was perfect for a relaxing getaway — the wooded lot and peaceful views made it feel like a true retreat. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and the basement game room, which was a hit with our group — the pool table and other games kept everyone entertained. The amenities were excellent, the beds were super comfortable, and everything was clean and well-stocked. We felt right at home. Five stars all around — highly recommended, and we’d love to come back again!

fantastic mountain getaway. at first we were bummed the weather was going to keep us inside but this Airbnb made it such an enjoyable and relaxing vacation nonetheless. beds were very comfortable, space was beautiful, and such a bonus that they provided the firewood for evening fires. will absolutely be coming back to see this space intiple seasons.

For just the three of us it was a perfect amount of space. Peaceful and secluded enough to rest comfortably after long days of activity. Lots to do in the area. My mom gets rather anxious and she was concerned about the windows not closing all the way, but the host answered us quickly even in the middle of the night and put her fears at rest. The neighbors were loud a couple of nights but there's sound machines in the rooms and we had earplugs. Beds are very soft. Thanks for your patience with us, hosts!

This was our second time at this property, and it will be our first choice any time we visit the area. It is so peaceful, great location to feel off the grid, but easily and quickly get to Harrisburg, Carlisle, and surrounding areas.

Absolutely loved this little getaway for my husbands birthday! It was so quiet and peaceful but had everything we needed. The design was so well thought out and absolutely beautiful. Reagan was amazing with recommendations and so quick to respond - I cannot wait to come back to the Treehouse! I wish I could have stayed longer.

We loved our stay at the Goat Loft! The goats had so much personality and were so interactive. The space was lovely and so well kept. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. We were in town for a wedding but really loved exploring the wineries and local towns. Brian was welcoming and very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family as a peaceful and unique experience!

This cabin is exactly what my fiance and I needed. It was extremely cozy and we felt right at home. Raymond ‘s listing is exactly what we expected and exactly what we got. The outdoor shower is DIVINE, and with nobody around we felt at peace. Besides Raymond’s house (which is right up the hill) there is nothing around except for trees. There’s two of the cutest little hammocks with the prettiest view and a huge outdoor fire pit. We brought our two dogs with us and I think they were more relaxed than us. It is super dog friendly and they even had some dog toys there for them to play with. There is a previous review that says cell service is spotty, but we had no problem with text messages sending or outgoing phone calls. The host is extremely friendly and does make sure that you have everything you need. If you’re looking for a getaway where you can unplug and unwind, this is your perfect place. Ps, the outdoor shower water gets really hot!! 🤤
