House holiday rentals in Għarb

Had an amazing stay at this nice house with my family. Perfect with pool and game room and plenty of space and things to do for everyone.

this villa is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could need. the hosts are so helpful and have thought of everything. would definitely book again.

This is an excellent rustic villa in lovely village of Munxar, Gozo close to a small shop and a short scenic drive to Xlendi Bay with nice sea front restaurants. The home itself has an excellent host with large 4 double/twin bedrooms, nicely decorated and kept nice and clean with good comfy beds and all amenities, just a home from home. It has a private outdoor pool and nice sun beds although a bit cool for our Easter break in April. Rental car is a must for sightseeing and travelling around the island and Xlendi Bay and you can park just opposite the house. Malta as an island is more popular with tourists and therefore more busy but you can stay in Gozo in this lovely house for some peaceful time allowing warm sunny weather.

The villa was perfect for our family of 10 adults, 3 children, and 1 baby. My 6 year old granddaughter described the outdoor pool as magical. The heated indoor pool was an added bonus and perfect for the younger children. The villa lived up to our expectations, and our host Natasha was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or requests. The villa was within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. Parking was available outside the property, and taxis if needed were available. Buses were also easy to use if you wanted to explore other areas on the island.

Thank you for our wonderful stay at your beautiful property. I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful coffee by the pool each morning. The kitchen is very well equipped, beds are comfy and the outside space is just perfect. Simple check-in, very responsive and kind owners - couldn't recommend enough!

We had a very nice stay at Victor’s farmhouse in Xhagra. The location must be one of the closest to Ramla Bay that are available as vacation rentals. The beach can even be reached by a nice walk (when it’s not too hot). The shortest drive to the neighboring village Nadur actually passes through Ramla Bay. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, has all that’s needed for a family or group vacation, has a nice pool and BBQ, and last but not least you can see the Mediterranean from the house. One potential issue for guests who are sensitive to noise from neighbors (or worries about own noise), while the walls are thick, they are not sound proof, so we could hear some noise from the neighbors at times. Overall a very respectful and quiet neighborhood, however. Victor was a great host and always available with friendly support when needed (like asking for extra sheets etc.)

We loved our stay! The villa is beautiful and the island is very peaceful. We especially enjoyed the pool and the barbecue! We thought it may be useful to note that the air con system in the villa needs coins to run, so it was useful having cash. It’s a pretty walk to the beach, a short walk away from a square of restaurants/bars and the Church, and a short Uber ride to the ferry port. We had a lovely time at Victor’s place with my family for a week’s holiday in April. Had the chance to explore the local area whilst using the house as a base. 10/10 house, lovely place to relax with everything we needed.

Spent 4 weeks in Michelle’s wonderful house, from start to finish it was so much more than we expected. We loved the area, great local small grocery shops, butchers and greengrocer, fresh produce available. You’ll be in a residential area and the beautiful streets resound with the maltese people living their lives. St philips church is beautiful a couple of minutes away , there is a service 9.30 sunday mornings, i was made very welcome. Shops and Bus bus stop 3 minutes away with regular cheap buses to Valletta, 2 euros each , change at Valletta bus terminal where you can then hop on to a bus to anywhere else on Malta, using the same ticket if it’s within a 2 hour period. Bolt and uber are reliable. The house itself is a bit of a challenge with many levels and stairs. If you organise your day you can cook either in downstairs kitchen or on 2 ring hob on roof terrace, there’s also a fridge. Just make sure you have all that’s needed upstairs . The views over harbour are stunning

Christine's place, and the location of Xaghra, was stunning, a total dream stay for us. We had four days and three nights of total getaway. Gorgeous place to stay with cool bedrooms and A/C when needed. Big kitchen with room to eat inside or outside. The terrace and pool were beautiful for relaxation too. It's a short walk to Xaghra, where you can find a great little supermarket and incredible restaurants, so many to choose from and the food we ate was divine. We also had a lovely day on Daħlet Qorrot Beach, really beautiful little bay with gorgeous water to swim in and cafe/ toilets to use. Bolt taxis everywhere, as recommended by the host - they really worked for us. Wonderful!

Lovely place to stay and the pool was a great addition to our stay. Throughly enjoyed our time here and is a lovely place to stay. Within walking distance of some really nice restaurants and not a far walk into Valletta at all.

We loved our stay at strawberry Field farm house! Elias was incredibly welcoming and the house was beautiful. It was spotless tastefully decorated and a very relaxing place to stay. The rooftop Terrace was also beautiful - stunning views to sit out and enjoy the hot tub. We would definitely recommend it and would love to go back. We also highly recommend Bottega Frawli restaurant.

Had the most relaxing, beautiful stay with Seth. The area is quiet and peaceful. Great host, very helpful. Will hopefully return very soon.

We had a great week at Caroline’s apartment. It is clean, well equipped and very peaceful. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Superb location for exploring the island, very easy to get around and plenty of local options for food. The house was perfect, with literally everything you need to feel at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was a great way to wind down

In the peaceful hamlet of Birbuba in the north-westernmost corner of the island, the house is a few steps from the countryside, full of birds and wildflowers, and the roof terrace (not included in the photos) gives 360° views, including Sicily, sea & stars. With three storeys, the house is typical of the local style, with Grandmotherly country décor (lots of knick-knacks, but not cluttered). It's spacious for a 2-bed house, and the high ceilings, archways, balustrades and wide staircase give it a sense of grandeur - it has three balconies on the second floor, complete with the occasional lizard. OK kitchen has just the basics. The pool gets the afternoon sun and wasn't too cold for a dip at Easter - our 7yo daughter spent a lot of time in there. It's easy to strike out into the countryside, with a couple of nice loops, and there's a lot to do just in this corner of the island. Għarb is a 10-minute walk (with restaurants and a few shops) and Victoria is less than 10 minutes by car.

The house is beautiful! It got all the amenities you need. It's clean, it's quiet, you can park the car outside, grocery shop is in the area. Gozo is a small island and from Il-Garra you can reach within 20 minutes drive any attraction. Ann Marie and his husband Rodrick are very supportive. If you need something, they are immediately responding. We stayed for 8 nights and we felt great there. The house is big enough to accommodate 10 persons so that everyone has his privacy but also big common spaces so that we could discuss, eat, play together. I would definitely recommend!

Very nice property, spacious and the pool area is great as well. Whenever we had any issue the owner was helpful right away, only some basic things were missing but it didn’t affect our stay, thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at the farmhouse in Gozo, the island was beautiful but the house was the best! Brilliant pool and facilities. Really easy to travel around and the people are lovely. Shalise was a great host, really easy to access the property and kept in contact with updates. There were 8 of us staying at the house and there was more than enough room. We were able to cook on the barbecue and enjoy the gorgeous outdoor space. Thanks so much for having us, we had the best time and will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful stay in the property, Katrin! The split-level property was quiet, secluded and had everything we needed. It is well maintained with a lovely pool to cool off in too. The location is ideal for exploring the island (would recommend a car) and everything was <30 minutes drive. Stefan was very responsive prior and during our stay, helping to arrange a hire car which worked out perfectly. The housekeeping staff were also friendly. Would absolutely recommend this as a holiday home.

Well appointed house with all that was needed. We appreciated the comfortable beds. A lovely rural situation with 3 terraces meaning sun or shade available at all times of day & great views of the countryside. It was great having filtered water on tap. Michaelina has thought of everything! Recommended.
