Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ghent

We LOVED our stay at Esteban and Joroen's. We had been attracted to the listing by the beautiful photos of the lush garden, the first floor outside decking , the bright interiors and the sense of peace and calm that was radiating out from the pictures. It was amazing to discover that it felt exactly like we had hoped and looked just as the photos but even more so. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed three blissful days of cycling into Ghent on the provided bicycles, exploring the town and enjoying the food and drink options at the vast array of pavement cafe's and bars. In the evenings , after a stop at the nearby supermarket on our way back from town, we enjoyed the hot tub and then some drinks on the decking as we watched the sunset before preparing and eating dinner to the sounds of the wonderful assortment of vinyl that is on offer. In the mornings it was yoga in the lounge, surrounded by the plants, and then a cuppa on the deck

We had a fantastic time it was absolutely as described the pool was warm and we made full use of the basement pool table and the amazing cinema. Stijin was there to greet us and explain everything about the property. There were 6 of us 4 adults and two children lots of space . Would highly recommend anybody to rent this place for a perfect stay in Gent

What a lovely space! The house is tucked away in a quiet street, yet easily walkable to the city centre. The interior is beautiful, filled with natural lights and plants. Spending time in the house was very relaxing- such a treat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay!

It was a comfortable and cozy place to stay. Everything you need is in the house, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, adapter and so on. It is a peaceful place at night, just 2-3 minutes to the tram station, and a few minutes to the Gent station by tram, walkable to the city centre for site seeing. I highly recommend

This house and hosts were a delight. The house was immaculate and comfortable we could not have asked for more. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute! Geert and Carine were great hosts- we even got fresh strawberries, eggs and every day corn to feed the cute alpacas 😍 highly recommended, especially for families with kids. Thank you!!

Bert is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. The best part of the accommodation is that there is a bathroom on every floor. The neighborhood is not pretty but the house is clean and cozy. Street parking can be tricky: there are green and yellow parking areas. In the green ones you can get a day ticket for 3.5 Euros but in the yellow areas you get to park maximum 5 hours at 1.80 Euros per hour. We parked in the green area but paid with a machine for the yellow ones. Bert helped us sort it out.

Tastefully renovated house. The decor is very beautiful while remaining cozy. A very nice house. The environment is very peaceful and very beautiful (chic neighborhood with beautiful houses and some possibilities for walks). Access to Ghent in a quarter of an hour.

Lovely space with easy access to everything in Gent. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. Nicely decorated, spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Adinda is very responsive and takes care of her guests. When we arrived there was coffee, tea, herbal teas, oil, vinegar... Unlike others who put coffee or tea for a day with an oil base, Adinda is generous and puts full boxes that do not even require a new purchase to compensate. The apartment is nice and clean. The separate toilets are appreciated. The proximity of the railway may put some off, but it did not bother us. There are very few trains at night and we enjoyed watching the traffic while we had breakfast. We highly recommend this accommodation ideally located between Bruges and Ghent. Whether you are in a car or taking the train, this accommodation will suit you to visit these two beautiful cities.

Lovely spacious art filled apartment with car park in peaceful location; it was like staying in an art gallery & we loved it. Short walk to bakeries, shops or tram/ train. Ideal base for exploring Brussels, Bruges, Ghent etc. John gave us some tips/ recommendations for our stay which were greatly appreciated.

The apartment is situated in a cozy neighbourhood with a supermarket and bakery nearby. It has a great roof terrace for relaxing evenings. The apartment is tastefully decorated. Recommend!

Excellent customer service

The accommodation was in perfect condition, as described and impeccably clean. The accommodation is well located in relation to the city center, you can get there on foot or by bus. Communication with the host was seamless and the instructions were very clear. I would recommend this property for a few days with family.

We slept in this nice studio last night and we liked it very much. The location is perfect – quietly located and close to the forest, which is ideal for a nice walk. The studio itself was clean, comfortable and fully equipped. The studio also has its own private entrance. The host was also very friendly and responded super quickly to messages. Definitely a place where we'd love to come back!

It was great stay. Tom was really kind and helpful. If I go to Gent again definitely I’ll stay at this place.

We spent a long weekend in Bert's charming flat. The location is excellent, most of the sights are within walking distance. There are also great cafes, restaurants and shops around the corner. The balcony overlooking the Leie is very nice. The flat is stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Bert was very communicative and friendly.

I had a great stay in Antwerp. Sjack is a fantastic host and his place is wonderful. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Plus, it’s well located to transportation and an easy walk to most anywhere in Antwerp. I highly recommend this apartment!!

We loved our stay. Sara was very responsive. Check-in was easy, and the stairs were easy to navigate. The location is outstanding with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and retail stores. It is a very spacious apartment, and there was plenty of room for our group. We felt at home even though we stayed just 5 nights. When return to Ghent, we would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation, very comfortable, slept very well in the beautiful large bed! Very easy access and very well located in relation to the city center. Hilde is very welcoming! Don't hesitate for a second, a great Airbnb in this charming town!

We had a great stay. Very comfortable with a large living room/kitchen space. Downtown Gent was just a short drive or the rail station is just a couple of blocks from the house. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Gent.

Our stay was great! We picked it as it was central to the many places we wanted to visit throughout Belgium, though it’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. Condo was very clean and spacious. Only comment would be if anyone has limited mobility, the stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms are a little steep.
