Holiday houses in Giammoro

Casa Maio al Borgo Antico di Milazzo is a wonderful house, situated in a local neighbourhood in the shadow of the Castle. It is around 15-20 minute walk to the port, which is ideal if you want to take a boat to the Eolian Islands (parking gets hectic in the city centre). The house itself is very beautiful and decorated in a rustic style with lots of wood and vintage tiles. The art seen in the photos on the listing is different now. It is spread over two floors and everything is open plan with no doors between the ground floor and first floor and no separate rooms (apart from a sliding door for the bathroom). This means that there is little privacy if sharing with multiple people. The wooden staircase is very creaky and will wake up everyone when in use. The kitchen is fully equipped. The highlight is the large balcony which overlooks the bay of Milazzo. For some reason Google Maps sent our car the wrong way to the house, so make sure to take Via Duomo Antico from Via Impallomeni.

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s Airbnb! The location is absolutely perfect — peaceful yet conveniently close to everything you might need. What truly stood out, though, was the beautiful garden.

Lovely comfortable place on two levels, bedroom with small balcony on the first floor above the little shop, kitchen and sitting area with a good sized roof terrace on the second floor. Felt right at home, nice furnished and decorated. The stairs from first to second floor are a bit tricky. Bring ear plugs for sleeping as it can be a bit noisy with the windows open because it's on the main street. Good free parking right across the road. Very good value for money! 🙂👍

The stay was perfect. The place is really really good and very close to the supermarket. The house is also spacefull and comfortable.

The appartment in Milazzo is a 2 hour bus ride from Catania airport via Giantubus or Flibco. The bus stop is at Cantania airport - a row of kiosks selling tickets for different routes immediately as you exit the airport. The bus stops outside the apartment (4 min walk). The appartment is next to Atlantic City, view on google. The appartment is better than the picutres. Everything looks brand new - straight out of IKEA. Comfortable and super clean. Salvatore meets you upon arrival and takes you through everything in the appartment. He is on hand on phone if you need his assistance or just want to ask any tourist questions. The Ferry port is opposite the appt, a 5 min walk, and is the gateway to the Aeolian islands. Ferries are frequent & super easy. Get your ticket from the port and not online (save yourself 5 Euro!). I wouldnt say Milazzo is a place to holiday, more a base to explore the islands. I would definately stay in this appt again to access the islands.

The penthouse was fabulous! If you’re looking for something central in milazzo a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants, beach & port then this location is perfect. Our host markandrea was superb, responded to many questions from me within a few minutes & always very helpful. We were welcomed with a fridge stocked with fresh fruit, wine, water, beer and cold drinks, as well as coffee machine & plenty pods provided. The penthouse was extremely clean and equipped with everything you need. The outdoor terrace was fabulous, and actually bigger than the pictures display. There’s sunshine and if you want it shade all day long until sunset. I would absolutely recommend this as a great place to stay in milazzo. I would definitely book this penthouse again for a stay in milazzo!!!!

We had the best time staying at Villa Ada. Alessandro let us check in early after a very long travel day which was so nice. The home was pristine and beautiful, plenty of space for the 2 of us. The gorgeous windows looking out to Mt. Etna and down to the sea and the beautiful terraces just left you in awe of the beauty of this home. We enjoyed walking down to the main street, which was only about a 5 minute walk, in the mornings and coming back to enjoy the home and pool in the afternoon. Not only is the home one of the best we have ever stayed in but we left with new friends, Alessandro and Liza. We look forward to seeing them and staying in this beautiful home again one day! Linda and Her husband picked us up at the Milazzo Railway station and dropped at the house. This was especially helpful when we figured out that the local transport in Milazzo is bad. The location is perfect. 200m in one direction is the port and in another direction there was a beach. Supermarkets were nearby and also there was a good Pizzeria right across the street. The room was very specious and well equipped.
