Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gieten

We have stayed in this beautiful and spacious cottage for the second time. Anything you need is present. The location is perfect. You can enjoy hiking and/or cycling in the area. We walked the 4-day hike from Exloo and from Valthe, which was easy to reach. Kim is a nice hostess who is attentive and helpful.

What a lovely house. Everything has been thought of. Beautiful complete kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a nice and sparkling clean sauna. Comfortable beds and great that the windows have screens. It is located in a quiet and beautifully landscaped park. Close to the center where there is plenty to do. It is also nice that you can go from the park to the nearby lake. The garden with neat furniture completes the house. We'd love to come back!

This was the most beautiful spot we have stayed at. The location and surrounding were so peaceful. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos.

We enjoyed it very much overall. The surroundings are very quiet and you can relax perfectly. It takes some time for the hot tub to be really hot, but it's worth the wait. 😊 Nothing was missing in the apartment. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bed as it was pretty saggy. Of course, it is still convenient for a weekend. Really recommend!!!

Our stay at Eva's was all around beautiful! The accommodation was furnished with love and really cozy. You can walk to the city center in 5 minutes, and to the train station in 15 minutes. We felt very comfortable!

The house is stunning, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are of a high standard. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real pleasure for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any questions, help, and recommendations at an exceptional level.

We spend a wonderful weekend there with friends. The location is lovely and quiet, but close to lots of activities in the area. Perfect place to stay, we'll definitely come here again.

Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. A beautiful, modern accommodation that is beautifully furnished and had everything and more to offer than we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The highlight here is the breakfast, which is prepared with so much love. The organization and communication was simply great, so that we immediately felt comfortable with our hostess Jitske. My wife and I booked this accommodation because we had a Motorrij Experience at TT-Assen. We were pleasantly surprised with this cool house, highly recommended in the summer at tropical temperatures in NL. The space is artistically decorated and also soothing. The living room has a spacious sitting area, a beautiful kitchen unit, a sofa set. The bathroom is nice and spacious with a glass wall, and a partition between the shower and toilet. The bedroom is nice and spacious and has a good bed. We woke up refreshed to go to the motor experience. When we came back in the afternoon, we sat in the garden for another hour. The garden is pure nature with lots of greenery and flowers. For us, it was a great weekend. Gr. Guido and Oesha

We spent 4 nights at this place, and absolutely loved it! The location is in the country along a canal. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. What a gem! I highly recommended this place to others!

Hil provides a very spacious ground floor apartment with a fully enclosed rear courtyard for your enjoyment. The amenities are awesome, including washer/dryer, steam oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Highly recommend this apartment and its very central location. Thanks Hil.

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

Our stay at Christel's was perfect! The house is welcoming, clean, comfortable, spacious. The bed is really comfortable! After a good day of sightseeing, it's very nice to return to this quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature. You can easily reach the city center by car in less than 10 minutes. Christel is an attentive host. We'll be happy to go back!
