We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

I booked this accommodation super spontaneously, and everything worked out perfectly. The indoor pool and sauna were perfect for our rainy weekend. Both the children and the adults had fun and relaxation. the accommodation was clean and the hosts were super nice - we felt very welcome and at home! We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and Janna and Christof took great care of us. Would happily do it again!

The house is beautifully decorated and was very clean upon our arrival. The bottle of wine and the snack basket to welcome us made us very happy. However, the location is very remote. We wanted to use the campsite facilities with our children and had to take the car every time. In addition, it is very noisy and the blackout blinds are not completely tight. All factors that do not make the stay with children quite optimal. We did not get the hot tub to temperature even after 5 hours of heating. Nevertheless, I would recommend the accommodation for couples at any time!

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. But the house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

We had a great time in this beautiful cottage in the countryside. The welcome was very warm, the cottage was clean and very characterful. We completely relaxed and the jacuzzi was great. We expected the pool to be open, but in the end we had a great time swimming in the Canada lake and with long walks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beautiful nature and tranquility.

We had a wonderful time at Ton and Lizette’s place. The house and surroundings were even nicer than the photos. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. They even included a few dog treats to also welcome our dog. He really lived his best life exploring outside. We felt relaxed and enjoyed taking walks in nature. The bed was so comfortable with the adjustable settings and reading lamps. We were sad to leave, but we look forward to going back!

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognized objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back again to see more of the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

We were traveling with two small children. The house was perfectly furnished, equipped and even in bad weather there were enough excursion destinations in the area (e.g. indoor playground, swimming pool). We will be happy to come back!

We were with 8 women over the weekend in Henk's house and felt completely comfortable, as it is cozily furnished and very spacious. There were also several seating areas behind the house. Since we had 30 degrees, we did not use the beautiful sauna. The house is very quiet, a bit remote, which we liked.

The house is wonderfully located on a small Siel with evening sun in the garden - wonderful! The decor is stylish and chic. The kitchen is very well equipped and even in the rain you can eat outside under a roof on the terrace. It is a stone's throw to the Petkum ferry (there are good fish sandwiches) and you can quickly reach Emden after a short bike ride along the canal. All around a very great accommodation, which I can only recommend.

A very peaceful and quiet retreat for those who enjoy nature. The house was exactly what we needed after exploring the local countryside. The house was clean and had all the amenities we required. It is also close to Norg, perfect to grab some groceries, or pick up food from local restaurants.

We spent a wonderful week in this fantastically beautiful holiday home! Together with friends, our children and their children, we were able to enjoy the peace and nature to the fullest. The house is very tastefully decorated, absolutely clean and leaves nothing to be desired – you immediately feel comfortable. The surroundings are idyllic and perfect for families: the children were allowed to visit sheep and move freely on the adjacent pasture. They were also particularly enthusiastic about the orchard, where we were allowed to pick to our heart's content. There is a cozy restaurant nearby, fresh honey from their own beekeeper and eggs from the chickens right on site - simply wonderful! The hostess was very friendly, spoke very good German and was particularly warm in dealing with the children. We felt completely welcome and can recommend this place without reservation.

We had an awesome time with the family! The place feels like a home-away-from-home; with great facilities, but also toys and games for the kids, kids plates / cutlery in the kitchen and even small bikes for them! The house is very nicely located on a small holiday park, communication with Feiko & Jacdirk was always great; would come again!

Volker is a lovely host and this accommodation is wonderful for families or groups of friends who want to relax by the North Sea - the house offers an incredible amount of space for cozy game nights, delicious cooking experiences and time together on the terrace. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back 🤗

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week.
