Welcome to Sunna and Grandfather's Log Cabin_Sun. There are two themes of the sun. The first is "Looking at Gongaksan Mountain". I made the wall diagonal so that I could see Gongaksan Mountain, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Korea, and the sky above it. The second is "Breath, Rest". I didn't paint the room at all and finished it with cypress wood, hoping that the body and mind of the guests can comfortably breathe and rest. Also, I tried to make the place feel as spacious as possible, and to feel like everything is connected, by not blocking it as much as possible. The Sun is a house that Sunna's father made himself, except for the sink and table set. The pillars of the hanok were preserved as much as possible, and the missing parts were replaced to match the past and the present in the wooden structure. All indoor spaces have been carefully designed to visually communicate with the outdoor courtyard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the most cozy place in this house. We hope you experience the meeting of the past and the present during your stay at 'Golmala'. We have provided a guide to the history of 'Golmala', nearby restaurants, bars, and cafe information. It was officially opened as a Hanok experience accommodation business at the end of January 2023.

This is a small new building in a quiet residential area 5 minutes from Gangneung Station.My major was interior design, so I was interested in architecture.I saw such a long-standing aspiration in a romantic house. A modern and fun-style duplex building built with a combination of white tones and wood, each with its own bathroom on the first and second floors, and pointed to the design to make sure the light and breeze work while being perfectly blocked from the outside. The view from the second floor, sunlight and wind are exotic and special, so it is quiet. The blooming in the small garden on the first floor deck is in the flowers. I think you can forget about your daily life for a while and relax to wash your mind.
