Beautiful, cosy home. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Larissa was very accommodating for my whānau. We will definitely think about booking again next time we’re in Anaura Bay.

Amy's place was amazing value for money. She's a great host and was very quick to respond to the booking request and messages. The place is comfortable, tidy and well thought out with extra value having a TV in every room. I'd recommend this place to anyone travelling through Gisborne because of it's value and proximity to the beach and township.

Great house in beautiful surroundings with great host. We really enjoyed our stay while exploring gisborne and the area. We will be happy to spend more time there when we decide to visit gisborne

Easy access to the shopping centre and the port/ beaches. The house is older style but very clean and presented well. Limited parking. We thought it was a bit expensive for what we got. Twin share and one queen. It's a real shame that people put their prices up, when accommodation is limited due to SLSNZ Competition, we didn't have much choice for accommodation. This happens everywhere not just in Gizzy. Adrian's house was lovely to stay in and I would recommend it.

My second time staying here. Really enjoying the peace and quiet of this place, and its proximity to the Ruatikuri River. Would love to stay here again :-)

Wonderful place, such a great location. Great front deck with the best view around, and a great quiet back deck area shielded from the weather. 5/5 would stay again!

Lovely cozy home right on the beachfront within easy walking distance of town. Quick dip in the sea before breakfast anyone? Enjoyed the puzzles and books too :)

We really enjoyed our stay at George's place! While it is an old bach that is showing it's age in some places, it is comfortable and cozy with everything we could possibly have needed including a thoughtful array of snacks. And then there is the view which is UTTERLY STUNNING! Perched on the dunes overlooking the beach, the deck was a great place to watch the sunrise and then take a walk on the beautiful sand beach, play in the waves, watch the surfers...My one concern is the path from the bach deck to the beach which is pretty treacherous (a bit steep but I found that part fine). Path is overgrown with a haphazard array of possibly some previous steps made of concrete stones, wood, old tires (I think). Where the dirt and sand are exposed, it was pretty slippery after a rain. We gathered some "walking sticks" from the beach to use going up and down which helped. Still, this was not enough of an issue to deter our delight.

This. Was. PERFECT. I loved it. I needed somewhere quiet and peaceful to write and this was just the spot. Tastefully appointed, private, quiet, just beautiful and Derek is a wonderful host.

Comfortable, cosy place to stay. Had everything we needed. Kim is a wonderful host, communicated extremely fast and was super helpful. Would def stay again. :)

The house is within walking distance of places we wanted to visit. Everything we needed was provided and the beds were very comfortable. Clean and tidy.

This place was prefect for the need of our large number of Whanau. Very clean and comfy whare.

Great value and an excellent location, close to Pak’nSave, Woolworths, petrol stations, and more. The home was clean and well-stocked with essentials like toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, clothes laundry liquid, salt, and pepper. The towels and linen were lovely, and the flat was surprisingly spacious and beautifully presented. Easy to find, with clear communication from the hosts, and a warm, cosy atmosphere throughout. Definitely great for the price — and we absolutely loved the pillows, they were a real highlight of our stay! Would happily book again.

Me & my partner absolutely LOVED staying here. John & Olivia were great hosts, very friendly, instructions were clear and smooth sailing while checking in & out. The house itself is well kept and we had everything we needed even things we didn’t think of. The location is quite secluded which we loved, nice and peaceful but also not far from town it was perfect, thanks so much to Olivia & John for having us 😊 100% recommend if you’re thinking of staying here!

Spending time in Gisborne for a 4 day conference, this was the perfect space to go back to, to relax, unwind and, rest. Waking up to a beautiful view of the whenua with some fur friends (sheep, cat and doggy) popping in now and then, I enjoy my walks so it was a great distance to have a little walk to places! Amenities were perfect, and Marina was awesome to comms with, great recommendations and the space itself.. immaculately homely! It was just what I needed! Highly recommend! Ngā mihi Marina!
