Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Gisborne Region

What a gorgeous Airbnb right across the street from a beautiful beach in Waihau bay! The deck and giant windows open right to the ocean. Its a few kilometers from the Waihau Bay Lodge and store where scenes from "Boy" were filmed and friends and I got to practice our Chardonnay eye rolls. There's no cell service on my spark mobile plan, but the wifi at the AirBnB works great. Airbnb gave me coordinates that were about a kilometer away from the actual home, so I got the proper address from Meagan beforehand and was able to check in seamlessly. Thanks Meagan!

Our stay was fantastic! the apartment was impeccably clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive, especially to our late night request for assistance which was extremly helpful. We will definitely book again as location is in city center, with everything we needed within walking distance.

A lovely clean and tidy apartment right in the city. We had apartment 5 which is right on the corner of the main street and it was a little bit noisy at night and the street sweeper gave us an early morning wake up at 5am. Great if you're not a light sleeper!

We had booked the accommodation for our crew who stayed in Gisborne for some work and they simply loved the place. It was close to the job site and the hosts were amazing :) Would definitely be back :)

Lovely home! Tidy and spacious for our family. Loved that it had two bathrooms, beds were comfortable, property had everything we needed. Look forward to staying in the future.

From the outside, the house appeared quite standard, but stepping inside revealed a lovely, clean, and tastefully decorated space. A delightful bonus was having Tiger, the friendly cat, as part of the experience! Although we didn’t meet the host in person, she made us feel truly welcomed :-) We highly recommend this house for its beautiful location, comfort, and all the essentials needed for a relaxing and restful stay. We will be back!!

Our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers stayed here after an overnight tramp- Edward’s place was 5 star luxury!! The shower is awesome, there’s a washing machine and dryer, a SMEG dishwasher, SMEG oven and a fridge that makes ice! All the appliances and fittings are high-quality. Everything feels really nice. Lovely beds and linen. Awesome view from the deck. Essentials like oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and coffee plunger are in the well kitted out kitchen. We enjoyed cooking a hearty meal playing cards and watching a movie. It is minutes from Lake Waikaremoana great walk start or finish- perfect location.!

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway that feels like a little piece of heaven, look no further than this magical spot in Haurata. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery, cozy comforts, and the kind of warmth you only find in a true home away from home. Jane, our wonderful host, is hands down one of the kindest and most thoughtful people we've ever met. She went above and beyond to make our stay special — even leaving all the sheep out just so our daughter could enjoy playing with them. It was such a unique and joyful experience that our little one will never forget. The house itself is well-stocked with lots of board games and card games, perfect for quality family time when you're not out exploring the stunning surroundings. Every little detail has been thought through to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We truly miss Jane, and our little one especially miss their time with Sage. Cant wait to return♥️

Craig’s property deserves 6 stars. Hands down the best we’ve ever stayed in. The location is incredible and the house is beautifully presented. Craig is a fantastic host and was extremely responsive. And fresh eggs from the girls was an absolute treat. We will definitely be back but for longer next time!

Such a gem of a place! It’s a bit of a drive from major towns but, trust me, the trip is well worth it. Christine will make you feel right at home and you will get to see a once in a lifetime sunrise. Highly recommend!

Our family (2 adults + 2 kids) had a wonderful stay at Anna & Marc's stunning home. The house was perfect and the property with a trampoline, BMX tracks and even a football goal post, was heaven for the children. Super close to the surf beaches of Wainui, we can't wait to come back. The super friendly cats were an added bonus, with the kids getting a cat each to cuddle up at night 😻 (we have pets at home).
