Gretchen's place is by far the best lodging I have ever had in my years of traveling world-wide! The Garden Flat is very clean, beautifully decorated & thoughtfully supplied with everything a guest might need. (She even had fresh muffins & a variety of snacks to greet me!) Gretchen is a creative artistic gal who has combined her considerable skills with a bit of whimsy to create a unique, comfortable space filled with high quality linens, fabrics, utensils, furniture, etc. To top off the delight, there is a beautiful inviting little garden in the back of the house that beckons guests to sit & relax. I hope to return one day, can highly recommend her place to other guests, and would absolutely give her ten stars if only I could!

This was a perfect spot to stay while in town visiting friends. Alta was helpful and very responsive with questions. And I really appreciated that the walkway and around my car was shoveled from the snow that fell overnight. Linens were so soft and warm! The shower was a tight squeeze but manageable. Overall a cozy, quiet, safe place to stay!

Originally my family and I were going to stay in a hotel. Then I thought about it and with 6 of us (each pair getting their own room) an air BnB would be a lot easier and cheaper (in theory). I found this one and it was perfect. My parents and brother and sister in law enjoyed it and it felt just like home. My parents and I had just sold my condo and needed a place to stay for my graduation week. This place was the perfect find. So perfect I wish I had extended my stay for a couple days prior and after our reservation. The fenced in backyard was a plus as well for my dog. He loved it so much, he didn’t want to come in. Everything you need was there. It was a nice cozy oasis. I know some people mentioned weird things about the house, but my family and I didn’t experience any of those. We had a wonderful time and Farrah was great with her communication. She even has a booklet letting you know of everything expected for your stay. Overall, definitely recommend this house for a nice stay!
