House holiday rentals in Glenfinnan

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Caravan was in a great spot with a golf green in front of us, dog loved watching the golfers all day, would book again, the site is perfect for the beach and various walks with the dog.

We had a lovely long weekend at Tarken House. The views are beautiful. The house is spacious, well stocked and easily accommodated the 10 of us, all adults. House was lovely and warm and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and good size en-suites. Jonathon was very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would highly recommend Tarken House and definitely be back again.

Amazing homely cottage in a nice private location. This was our last night of rest post-NC500. A shame we only stayed a night, could easily have done a few more and really explored the amenities in the village. Nonetheless a fantastic stay, very comfortable and friendly hosts.

Fantastic cottage for 2. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Loacation is great with easy walking distance to Centre of town. Would stay again.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

Lovely peaceful location, stunning views. Enclosed garden, perfect for the doggies. Calmac ferry close by for a trip to Mull. We did a a trip to Sanna Beach, with amazing view of the small isles. Nice walks around the estate, friendly and welcoming staff in the farm and gift shop. Keepers cottage is a wonderful, comfortable, well equipped place to stay. 100% would love to stay here again.

This is an amazing house with a wonderful view of the Sound of Mull. Everything felt incredibly homely. One of the best Airbnbs you can find with wonderful views of the Siubd of Mull. Very tastefully done. Loved the open plan kitchen and sitting area and the warm underfloor heating welcomed us on our return from beautiful but sometimes wet and windy walks. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Melanie’s place was a beautiful place to stay! My family and I felt right at home. The place was very clean, organized and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

A truly royal vacation 8 of us just enjoyed a great time in this magical place. I am wheelchair bound so it was great being on one level. The accessible shower was also great. The place is just like the pictures. Very beautiful. We were blessed with good weather a few days we were there and a number of our party braved the loch. It was an experience and quite cold but worth it. It’s very remote and you have to travel about 2 miles on a bumpy dirt track to get to the house, but it’s part of the appeal. The views are just awesome. From the house there are trails and you can hike up high hills. If not high enough Ben Nevis is a drive away and some of us I did the climb. Overall a memorable holiday and we would love to come again.

Centrally located to town and to a great hike! We planned on taking the Jacobite train and could walk from the house. Fort William is also just very centrally located to everything you can do in Glencoe and surrounding areas! :)

This has to be the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in. It was stunning. The view was incredible and we never tired looking at it. The space itself was faultless; had everything you could need, extremely comfortable bed, excellent (huge) shower, and every detail considered. It was next to a small farm which was so lovely, spring lamps jumping around in the field next door was adorable! It’s remote, but that’s exactly what we wanted. We would return in a heart beat!

Our first visit to Skye and a week made all the better by the property and location. Dorothy was on hand when needed and the property had everything we needed, was really well equipped and had a place for everything. It's at the quieter end of the island, which we liked, but does mean a few more miles to see some of the well known sites. Not an issue, as so many things to see and do on the way north and the scenery never got old. The only small issue for us, was the internet, although it is there, if you need to work while away, or check in with friends/relatives, any video meetings won't work, even some internet browsing, was very slow. Dorothy kindly offered her home and internet connection to use for a client meeting we had, but we re-arranged the meeting, as did not wish to impose on her kind hospitality. Property is 6 miles down a single lane road with passing places that is no issue, as long as you drive safely and navigate the pot holes and sheep. 5 Stars overall.

we had a great stay on Eigg at Rum View. The view from the front of the property is great - we spent hours just sitting watching the world go by (and the kestrel hunting). Communication with mark was easy and we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

Absolutely beautiful place. The surrounding gardens and view were stunning. Kitchen was well stocked and place was comfortable.

Perfect location for exploring Skye and surrounding areas. Dornie Croft was an outstanding property very tastefully finished with everything you could need right down to lunch boxes and thermos flasks. Would not hesitate to return.

The dwelling appears to have been recently renovated and well maintained since the renovations. It is the perfect set-up for 2 families or 3 generations with master bedroom and common updated bath on the first floor and remaining bedrooms and common bath on the upper level. We felt as though we were welcomed home by both Sean and Anna. The wood stove was ready for a fire (kindling and wood inside and more beside) for a fire we did not need. Didn't have time to check out the TV as we were busy admiring the view of the water or walking to town. Their home is a short drive to the highest peak in the UK, public beach, shops and very good restaurants. Walking distance to town that is the northern end of a noted 96 mile hike of the highlands. We are not really savvy travelers, but didn't feel that was necessary in their Air B&B.
