In a slightly elevated location, surrounded by meadows and forest, this apartment offers perfect relaxation in nature. Directly from the house you can reach various hiking destinations on foot or explore the surrounding routes by mountain bike. The center of Bad Ischl can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Hallstatt is about 25 minutes away, the many lakes of the Salzkammergut can be reached in a few minutes by car. The various ski resorts are about 30 minutes by car.

The proximity to the Feuerkogel cable car (4-minute walk) and the Traunsee offers a variety of excursion possibilities. Our cottage is heated exclusively with wood. From our apartment, which is located off the main road directly on the edge of the forest, you can walk to the center of Traunkirchen in 15 minutes, and also to other shops, a bakery and the doctor with an attached pharmacy in 15 minutes. The train station can be reached on foot in 20 minutes, and a bus stop in 10 minutes. Public swimming areas in the Winkl district and in the center of Traunkirchen are also a few minutes away.

Ferienhütte Grimming

Our cottage is only a little away from the nearest traffic routes (road, train) and yet in the middle of nature at the foot of the mighty Grimming. It is only about 30 km to Schladming or Ausseerland. There are countless opportunities for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers or just those who want to unwind! Looking forward to seeing you soon! Equally welcome are dogs who feel "at ease" with us!

Quaint hut on the edge of the forest - pure relaxation

Romantic little hut right on the edge of the forest with in-house sheep. PURE Austrian feeling! Come with a whole group or as a couple and enjoy the silence. We intentionally do without Wi-Fi TV and the like. At the large gravel parking lot in front of the cabin, you can make a campfire and grill with our tripod with grill grate. Then fall asleep to the soothing sound of the stream.

Our Mountain Cabin recently passed to the 3rd generation of our family and is a renovated traditional cabin completely on its own on a sparsely populated mountain of a few milk farmers. This self-catering cabin offers its guests and their 4-legged companions ample space to relax, forget all the day-to-day stresses and enjoy the important things in life.
