Beachfront holiday rental in Goat Island

This place was everything we were hoping for, and more! The description barely scratches the surface of how great this rental is. We’ve been visiting the Bolivar Peninsula two to three times a year, and this has hands down been our favorite stay. The location is amazing, just steps from the beach, making it super easy to run back and forth throughout the day, without the stress of the long drive/walk. It’s incredibly convenient in every way imaginable. Covered parking was huge for us especialy with taking the top/doors off the wifes jeep, there’s a grill/smoker avaliable for lunch or those evening cookouts, and the outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off (especially the little ones). There were even beach toys for the kids, which could really be a life saver for some. You can really tell the hosts put care into making this place family friendly, stress-free, and convenient! You can't go wrong here! You will enjoy, I promise! Barr Family!

My family and I had a fantastic weekend at this beach house. Even though the rest of the areas had issues because of Jeep weekend, this house was away from the event and we were able to enjoy the beach with no problems. We even extended our stay an extra day to check out the rest of the area after the event. Cant wait to go back!

We had an enjoyable experience at the residence. The rooms were spacious, and the restrooms were well-maintained. The property featured a sizable lot with ample parking facilities. The second floor offered a variety of amenities and activities. There was sufficient seating to accommodate all 15 guests comfortably. The kitchen was excellent and well-equipped. Additionally, the second floor included barbecue grills, although they were not utilized during our stay. The house offered stunning views of the ocean.

This place was great! Fantastic layout, great location, and all around a fantastic stay.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay! The location is fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with a glass of wine and watching all the vehicles go by, while our dogs ran in the yard. The home was squeaky clean, the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen, AC worked great, comfy beds, and a close drive to everything. Home is just like the photos. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely hands down the best place we have ever rented for ourselves and fur babies! The house was so clean and cozy with the most comfortable couch and bed ever! Location was perfect to get anywhere we needed. We loved the big yard and privacy without neighbors on top of us. We will definitely rent this little gem again!

I’ve lost track of the number of summers we’ve spent the weekend at Joanne’s home. There’s a reason we keep coming back - beautiful home, great location, responsive host. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay. Super cute decor and very clean. Steps to the beach, close to shops. House was stocked better than any vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Has what appears to Be a matching house next door with connecting back yards so would be a great place for large families. We will stay here again.

Walking distance to the beach! Across the street are Seawall stairs. Everything was so clean and well stocked. The ac felt great after a long day swimming. Very responsive and helpful! Would love to come back!

Very easy to find and in a great location for those of you that want a quieter beach but still close to everything.

Loved our stay . Great condo on the second floor. Easy check in and out. Gregory checked in on us every day to make sure everything was as we needed. All amenities at the condo available for stay. While a bit isolated from the rest of Galveston it’s what makes this location quiet and peaceful. The pool and lazy river are amazing. Property has on site lift for the pool which made our stay even more pleasant . The bar was open which was also a treat . Didn’t get to experience the on site spa . Seawall Cafe and Sea Horse Grill are hidden gems. We loved our stay and would definitely return

Love the place . Right in front of the beach, its my 2nd time renting from her and i love it. Last time it was more of a pool view and beach was a little away but this time the beach was right in front. Loved it! I think she has 3 different kind of condos there but this one so far was the BEST!! The view was Amazing!

Easy check in process at the condominium. Staff was helpful and courteous. Plenty of parking . Carts available for loading / unloading. Easy and safe access to the beach. Outside showers available for use prior to coming back in. The unit itself is wonderful. Shanna has the unit well decorated and not lacking for anything. Nice touch with the bottle of wine waiting to greet you. The view of the Gulf and the ships from the 9th floor is incredible. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony while listening to the roaring surf. Shanna had a number of items available in the unit for use at the beach (some beach chairs, cabana for shade, beach wagon). The front desk has a phone number for a third party company if additional equipment is needed for the beach. We really enjoyed our stay @ Shanna's Sea Spot on Galveston Island. She is a great host.

Amazing beach house! Walking distance from the house to the beach! The back porch was so relaxing! Fishing right in the back yard was priceless!!! Will definitely be back! Love the house and the area!

LOCATION LOCATION!! We saw beautiful sunrises from the front of the cabin and beautiful sunsets from the back! The beach was steps away from the house. Lots of time spent on every deck space. The dogs had the run of the place, with the convenient doggy doors, fence and several gates in between. Great price for the space!!

Amazing view all day long! Such an amazing view of the beach walking down every morning! Our family had such an amazing time made so many memories will definitely recommend this home to everyone! Cannot wait to our next trip out there!

Perfect for a couple weekend near the beach. Loved the spacious balcony and view. We had some trouble understanding how to get hot water in the shower, and the host was very responsive and helpful.
