Nos encontramos con un lugar hermoso donde compartimos un fin de semana acompañado de perros y naturaleza, un lugar acogedor para ir en grupo o en pareja muy espacioso en la cocina equipada para preparar lo que nos gusta... Aun siendo pequeño para explorar, la compañía de los perros y lo hermoso de la vegetación hacen muy amena la estadía en un clima donde aunque hace frio la casa conserva muy bien el calor... Nos encantó el lugar

Me lleve una gran sorpresa, el lugar es increíble, visite el lugar con mi esposa, el lugar súper limpio, hay de todo, es un lugar seguro, desde la ubicación nos pudimos desplazar con facilidad a muchos sitios incluyendo restaurantes, tiendas etc. el personal súper amable, parqueo seguro, definitivamente volvería a ir y se convirtió en nuestro lugar cuando visitemos San José, lo recomiendo por la tarifa y por todo lo demás antes mencionado.

We enjoyed staying at Cat’s and Yolanda’s home. Even though there is shared common areas, we felt very comfortable and private. Afternoon swims in the pool and lounging in the hot tub was relaxing. Quiet mornings in the upper deck were peaceful and you could hang out and enjoy the gorgeous valley view. We are fairly active so walks into town were very doable. Atenas has a good mix of tourists and locals and is a friendly town.

El lugar es hermoso! Super céntrico pero se siente como si se estuviera apartado de todo. La casa, la piscina, las areas verdes todo estaba en excelente estado y Roy fue super atento! Definitivamente volveremos!

We had a wonderful stay in this newly built apartment. The host was extremely helpful in assisting with taxi pickups and even arranging leaving transport. Atenas is a small but friendly town. Our stay was mostly spent on the large covered patio with kitchen watching the rain and birds. Their German Shepard was very gentle though a bit vocal one of our nights. For some reason, the all new outlets were very finicky about allowing anything to plug in, but we managed. Furniture was sparse but functional. Over all a very reasonably priced rural tico home. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would stay again. Airbnb however refused to accept any credit cards, after initial use, so we had to shift to another booking app to use the cards or be stranded.

Just a beautiful and calm place to stay close to San Jose and a very friendly host.

I highly recommend this home!! Especially if you need to be near the San Juan de Dios or the Children's Hospital. Right in the center of downtown and all that is here. I stayed here because my husband was in the hospital and this family helped me so much! They know the hospital and people who work there. Makes navigation of the system so much easier! The house is an older house that the owner is gradually renovating. She has re-done the rooms for rentals and made them very comfortable. There is a central sitting area and a balcony where I had my morning coffee! The original parquet flooring and other antiques give the rooms a special charm. The rooms are large with large ensuite bathrooms. Easy to find. Parking is available. It is on a busy street, but it gets quiet at night. I slept so well. I highly recommend this place, especially if you need to be at one of the nearby hospitals. Isa was very easy to communicate with, and truly is the best host.

Alberto and his team are great and very responsive to requests. For example, I asked for some kitchen items and brand new items were delivered the same day. Alberto also arranged great trips and hosted fun events that helped me feel instantly connected to a community of people while traveling alone. I even attended my first Costa Rican arena fútbol game with Alberto and other Stolas guests. As a digital nomad, I enjoyed having space to work privately and also found myself being more productive in a space where others were working or studying at the same time. The neighborhood is beautiful and easily walkable. I definitely recommend staying at Stolas Coliving.

I've used Airbnb for 8 years, all over the world and Karen's place has the best view yet. Based on Karen's Bio, you can tell she used her expertise on these casitas. All the appliances and homeware are all high end. Karen's place is situated in a very high end and safe location. With the location, high end amenities and the once in a lifetime view, you can't go wrong. Thank you Karen!

Ein Haus mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer großzügig. Ich habe dort sehr gut geschlafen. Und der Garten ein Traum. Keto war sehr großzügig. Ich durfte mir noch nachmittags einen Salat vor meiner Abreise machen und diesen im Garten essen, obwohl ich eigentlich um 11 das Zimmer verlassen hatte. Danke!

Ketho was the best host I could have imagine for my three months stay in San José! :) Since he lives in the house too he‘s always there to help and answer your questions with his funny and dry humour I loved a lot. And in the sometimes a bit loud city of San José, the garden is the perfect calm place to come down and read a bit. I woke up with birds chirping and the sound of water - thus, absolutely recommendable if you have to stay in the city. And on top of that, the location is quite nice - whether you plan some trips from San Jose, a lot of tour providers offer a pick up at a hotel nearby, you‘re at the airport in 30min, whether you wanna go for a walk/run, you‘ll have the La Sabana park around the corner, or whether you just want to stay in a safe area of San José. So thanks Ketho and the team for making my stay in San José so great :)
