Alper and Banu are proactive hosts. They are friendly and caring hosts ensuring things are well for you. The location is right at Taksim square however when travelling with I suggest you to take a cab as the house is at uphill. Also the house is spacious however and pretty. There are very good restaurants and cafes around and the house is at a happening place. Alper ensured we feel at home despite language barrier.

This was an outstanding beginning to our trip in Turkey. The location was perfect in a very walkable and interesting neighborhood with all we needed in terms of restaurants and walkable to attractions. We were only one block from the tram that takes you anywhere you need to go. The very best thing about our stay, though, was Cem. We have never had a more proactively helpful, generous, and friendly host than Cem. We highly recommend this place! NOTE: this apartment is small and it is in a very narrow but tall space (4 stories). So if you are not comfortable with small spaces or with steps, this would not be the place for you

our stay was nice. The location of the house was in a very good place, we had easy access to many places. The house was clean and convenient. Mr. Baris took care of us and was very friendly. We would definitely prefer to stay here again and again if it is available without looking elsewhere on our Istanbul trips.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. I would definitely come back. Dilek was so kind to us. The place feels like home in Istanbul. It was the perfect location for us.

It was a very pleasant stay. Clean apartment and totally matched the photos shown. Very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Rojhat was very kind and welcomed us even though we arrived very late at night. Everything was great. We'll be back

My stay at this apartment in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful in every way! The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished with modern, stylish decor. Its location is excellent — very close to Taksim Square and right in the heart of the city. The street is mostly flat with a slight uphill walk, but it was easy and not a problem at all. I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Nihal and her family, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her communication felt more like family than just a host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, if I return to Turkey, I will definitely book with her again. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and a warm, friendly host.

We had a wonderful stay at Can's place. The listing is just as described but the view is even more beautiful in person! The house is clean, private and peaceful. It's on a hilly area but you can walk to restaurants and cafes in 10 minutes. Can was always responsive and super helpful. He also allowed us an early check-in. I would like to mention that we've stayed at many Airbnbs but this is probably the only one that was fully stocked with plenty of water bottles! We really appreciated that. Thank you to the host and we will definitely visit again. Highly recommended for short and long term stays.

Aksel Bey's house is just as it appears in the photos. The 2+1 house has everything you can need. Very comfortable apartment with smart home system, underfloor heating. Mr. Aksel is very kind and easy to communicate with. If you need to stay around Maslak, you can opt blindfolded.

we were looking for a peaceful place in Istanbul close to the sea and mountains and forests. This is the best place for this purpose. So we got completely relaxed there. Moreover, the location is very organic- you may buy fresh milk straight from Turkish village citizens, freshly baked Karadeniz bread from the local old lady who is making herself it, you may buy fresh groceries there. Black Sea is 10 minutes away by car. The place is also close to both Asian and European parts of Istanbul. About house- the housekeepers are very helpful and empathetic, whenever you need help, they can do that. We did not know that the house is well-equipped so we brought our dishes, containers, shampoo etc. However, everything was there. Overall, we had amazing experience there with our kids. thanks to this place for that

Newer apartment and building close to Taksim Square. It's a ~ 10 minute walk up the hill to the square and multiple transit options; which makes it easy to get around the city. It's also close to the popular İstiklal pedestrian street. If you take a right turn out of the apartment and then your first left there is an easy pedestrian cross-walk to get you over to Istiklal without having to go up hill to Taksim first. The Havabüs airport bus (Taksim stop) is less than 15 minutes away and provides an affordable and efficient option to get back to the airport. We enjoyed the apartment and using it as our base to explore this part of Istanbul.

An absolutely amazing place to stay! Living room overlooks Galataport and we got to see quite a few large cruise ships. Loved all the resident kitties, one even had three kittens in the courtyard. Air conditioning is a godsend and the fan in the bedroom was perfect. Fair warning, it’s either up or down quite some stairs or a steep hill to get everywhere, but honestly we loved that. A great workout!

Absolutely loved our one month stay here. House is a real gem. So beautifully decorated, with everything you need to be comfortable for a long visit. Kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy and the shower was a real treat. And as mentioned in other reviews the stairs are a masterpiece, but defn not for those who aren’t steady on their feet. Such an interesting neighbourhood with so many lovely cafes, delicious bakeries and supermarkets close by. Host had made many local recommendations, and the ones we tried were great. Less than a 15min walk to the Ferry which we mostly used to go everywhere, as it is an incredible way to see Istanbul. Also, tram stop is close by with easy access to the Sultanahmet area. If you are after an authentic stay in an authentic area, this property is a real find. Thanks for having us. Vanessa

Beautiful apartment consisting of a bedroom with a double bed and air conditioning, and a bedroom with a single bed without air conditioning. There is an air conditioner in the corridor next to the room, a bathroom, a full kitchen with everything you need, and a living room without air conditioning, but it gets cold air from the air conditioner in the corridor, the atmosphere is wonderful, the apartment is beautiful and suitable for its price. The apartment is located near the Şişli shopping area and the metro station. Its owner, Mr. Tunc, is very friendly and responsive, and his treatment is very classy and cooperative, I highly recommend it, if you want something arranged and do the duty for a reasonable price, here is what you are looking for.

It was EXTRAORDINARY. I think it's one of the best apartments I've rented in Istanbul. The breathtaking view of the islands. The cleanliness of the place, the access to the metro and the shopping centers very fast. I highly recommend this apartment, Mehmet was very responsive, very professional and really very kind. If you’re looking for the perfect Istanbul experience, this apartment is it. Just a 2-minute walk from Galata Tower, the location couldn’t be better. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had that authentic Istanbul charm. What made our stay even better were the cute little coffee shops nearby . Don’t miss the hidden antique bookstore tucked into a side street nearby—it’s magical. And if you follow the alley behind the tower, you’ll find a tiny rooftop terrace bar with stunning views of the Bosphorus. Not many tourists know about it. We’ll definitely be back!
