Named after our beloved black and white paint horse "Valentino" who lived to the ripe old age of 30 and reigned over these acres till early 2013. Newly remodeled "Valentio's retreat was once the "early days" home of the iconic Kris Kristofferson. It is loaded with all the comforts of home and some extras! The decor celebrates the spirit of Nashville with music business memorabilia that is from the owner Dana's personal collection. It is 13 miles from downtown Nashville. This was a perfect place to come back to during a week of training. It’s a very peaceful spot, and the layout of the space helped me have areas for study, sleep, and dining. It actually reminded me of my college apartment space. I arrived after dark, and the reflector was hard to see because of the grass (it had been raining a lot before I arrived). After the area was mowed later in the week, it was much easier to see at night. The shower is on the smaller side, so just be aware. I loved having the sitting room to work on assignments and other work. The table and couch were perfect, and the wifi was reliable. In the kitchen, the full-sized fridge/freezer was a huge plus for the week. I needed a comfortable, peaceful, wifi-connected place to park each evening after training sessions, and this spot fit the bill exactly!
