Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Goodrington Sands

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

What a beautiful place to stay, immaculately clean with all amenities provided..... David has thought of everything you might need! We sat with the patio window open last evening watching the sun go down over Dartmoor, a glass of fizz to finish off the day.....cheers!

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Ade's place was immaculate and very enjoyable. He was very responsive and left clear instructions so that check in was very easy. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Torbay

Had a really lovely stay at Gary's cottage. not only was it really picturesque, homely and comfy but the facilities were great. and the location was perfect, so easy to get into central brixham within minutes. I loved the log cabin in the garden with the stunning harbour views, i spent a very relaxing afternoon there with my watercolour paints pretending I know how to paint! we both commented on how lovely it was to stay so centrally but not be able to hear the bars in the evening! It was just so very peaceful and relaxing! we both really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous cottage and can't wait to come back already! 💖

What a lovely home! Clean and comfortable throughout. Views from the front bedrooms are gorgeous. Bonus to have off street parking. Brixham harbour area is pretty. Lots of places to walk to, nice bars and restaurants and quirky shops - everywhere was dog friendly too. Amazing walks and views from the south west costal path. It is hilly, with some very steep steps so may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. We hope to return and explore further afield as it’s easy to get to the other towns on the coastline by ferry, bus and car. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a great stay at Julie’s! The house was lovely and kitted out with everything we needed. The hot tub was also excellent. Would 100% recommend and stay again, thank you for being such great hosts!

We had such a beautiful couple of days at Larissa’s place, we absolutely loved every minute. The house had so much character and we loved the decor and soft furnishings. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a lovelier time.

Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.
