We had a wonderful and cozy stay on our roadtrip for one night. The apartment is located in the middle of beautiful Slovenian nature and has a beautiful garden as well. The heating and the beautifully designed small apartment has everything equipped you need to instantly start cooking and relaxing. Check-In was super flexible and ideal to be spontaneous in our case. Wow, wow, wow!!! We stayed at Villa Katerina for a week over Christmas and it was just perfect. It is a stunning place with everything you could need and plenty of room. The surrounding area is just beautiful, quiet and rural. It was truly idyllic. Having the fire was wonderful and made it feel extra special. It is easy to get to Ljubljana, Zagreb and other local towns but also perfect for walking straight from the door into the countryside. Michael gave us some excellent recommendations of places to go and is very helpful and responsive. He also gave us gifts of homemade honey and honey liquor which were very gratefully received! We would have stayed longer if we could!

I stayed two nights in this wonderful structure surrounded by silence and greenery, a true slice of paradise perfect for those who want total relaxation and walking. Total privacy, however, I recommend organizing yourself for a small expense because there is not much nearby, so for convenience, it is better to always have something with you, in the structure there is nothing missing in the structure in terms of pots (it is still a campsite). Too bad the hydro massage bathtub was missing but I was notified in time, they were very kind

The mill is a special place. Vid and his parents made it even more so. I was met by his mother who showed me where everything was, including her beautiful garden that she invited me to use. They had stocked the fridge with more food than I could eat in my week! The next day Vid's father brought some lovely fresh asparagus and sausages and the sweetest blueberries I've ever had. Such lovely welcoming people! Vid responded to questions quickly and kindly set up a visit to a friend's vineyard which was a highlight of the trip. The mill is one of the most peaceful places I've ever stayed. I kept the window open all the time to hear the sound of the river. It's very isolated - which is exactly what I was looking for! My helpful hint would be to not buy groceries before ILY check in because they'd already thought of everything!
