Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

It is located directly on the bike and hiking trail to the Goldene Aue. The lake landscape is only a few minutes away by bike. The house can accommodate up to 6 people and is very quiet and idyllic. The garden with seating and lounging options may of course be used. You can park your vehicles safely on the property.

In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. We and our two children welcome you to our small country house. We often spend our weekends and holidays here in rural surroundings. We occupy ourselves with the small garden and the animals, try our hand at old handicraft techniques, explore the surroundings, go for a walk in the forest and swim in the outdoor pool. This is how we relax here and regain strength for everyday life.

The town of Apolda is only a few kilometers from Weimar, Jena, Bad Sulza or Naumburg. We hosts live in a house on the same property and are happy to help you with “advice and assistance.”
