Farmstay holiday rentals in Gotland County

This was a very special trip for my sister and I who don’t get to spend a lot of time together. What a peaceful place and wonderful host! Elizabeth was not only kind and helpful but she went above and beyond in helping us find some our Swedish ancestors! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch every morning, having tea and breakfast. We loved being greeted by her sweet dogs, June and Lizzie and also enjoyed feeding the lambs, learning about the sheep, and seeing other animals on her farm. The cottage has everything you need and is decorated with such a warm touch. We quickly felt like locals and look forward to coming back soon! Thank you so much, Elisabeth!

Incredibly beautiful and spacious yard with lush surroundings. Nice patio in evening sun with gas grill. Nice and helpful host. The place is better than what the pictures show. Biking distance to several beautiful places.

The accommodation is basic I would say, but the surroundings are beautiful and it's a great value for money.

We are very satisfied with our stay. Erik and Lisbeth were very friendly, nice and we felt warmly welcomed. The accommodation was as described and expected and it is peaceful and beautiful surroundings. It's lovely to sit outside in the sunset without the noise of traffic. Easy to get anywhere on the island, as it is in the middle.

It was a wonderful vacation spot. The old house is very carefully renovated and the location in the north of Gotland is great.

Nice place to stay for calm and relaxed holidays. Easy to get around.

We had two wonderful days on Fårö! Such a lovely place, such a gently and warmheart owner Charlotte is! We could check-in earlier then expectet, that was great! Near the house is the best bakery on Gotland! So great to have breakfast there in the morning :) We hope to come back one day! Wonderful place if you wanna discover Fårö! Great summer house, kids enjoyed the open area and pets. Hanna is a wonderful host helped to make our stay great.

Had an incredible stay with Pia and at the horse farm. The accommodation was perfect size for a holiday on Gotland, simply but nicely decorated with an eye for details and with many lovely restaurants, farm shops, flea markets and beaches nearby. Will be more than happy to come back!

Beautiful surroundings and super friendly hosts. We (2 adults, 2 kids and a 🐈) spent a very relaxing week at the farm. Situated in the middle of the island it's both a bit far from everything, but a perfect spot for driving all across the island.

The house with attached guesthouse is tastefully decorated, comfortable and is located in a fantastic beautiful and peaceful place. We had a great stay at the house that exceeded our high expectations. Helpful and friendly hosts who made us feel at home. Big plus for the nice patios and proximity to both swimming and nice restaurants and service.

Such an incredibly nice, cozy and lovely accommodation! ☀️💕 So peaceful in the countryside among flowering rapeseed fields, lambs and swallows, but at the same time close to Visby. Here we (mother and teenager) really lived well and received such a nice and warm welcome from Karin and Peter! The accommodation has everything you need, is clean and fresh - we slept well in the beautiful beds and enjoyed hanging out on the sofa with a movie, as well as outside on the lawn with a book in the evenings. Perfect for us to be able to cook our own breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen and we absolutely lacked nothing during our stay. It is noticeable that the family put their soul into the details, we were even greeted by a sweet bouquet of flowers when we arrived🥰. The lambs, the chickens, the sweet cats and the happy dogs were of course a favorite! We'd love to come back! ☺️🫶 Agnieszka and Hugo

Very nice stay is this charming cottage overlooking a golden field of barley! It’s an old building but clearly loved and taken care of by the owners. Well equipped and nicely decorated but be aware of low ceiling height and a fairly steep stairway to reach the sleeping loft. We loved our stay on the countryside for doing different day trips around the island. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings in terms of privacy although somewhat noisy in terms of traffic from the main road. In all, we can highly recommended this place for your next Gotland trip!

We loved our stay! We had to switch housing on a moments notice due to our original place being in awful condition and Titti welcomed us with open arms! She really saved us from having an awful trip and we couldn’t be more grateful!

We, a large family, of different ages, loved it! Lovely social rooms and lovely outdoor areas with room for everyone! Peaceful surroundings and the children had plenty of space to run around. Smooth contact with our host and very accommodating. We had a great time and can really imagine coming back!

A nice traditional Gotland stone house with a large outdoor courtyard. Great farm for the kids to play on. Many bedrooms and large living areas, make the house suitable for a larger group and where there is also plenty of room for children. By car you can reach several nice beaches and nature reserves. Also Ljugarns community with shop and several restaurants and cafes. If you add sunny summer weather, they are a great place to vacation!

We had a great time in southern Gotland staying in Anna and Peter’s beautiful house. The place is even better than shown in the pictures and the setting is so peaceful, with a lovely view from the living room windows. I can definitely recommend it! I travelled with my family (3 kids) and my parents. There’s a lot to see and do in the area, something suitable for all ages. Anna and Peter replied quickly and helped with questions both before and during the stay.

Beautiful gotland farm in stone in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Close to beautiful and historically interesting places, reasonably close to beaches and swimming, like the beaches on Fårö. Agneta and Bengt Erik were generous with their house, we got access to everything in the garden and the house including outdoor furniture, barbecues, hammock and conservatory. We felt so welcome as guests!

The description of the house matched exactly. Very spacious.Especially liked the feeling of a family home where generations have met and new cosy renovations in total respect of each other. Absolutely loved it. You really want to take good care. The host is very nice and communicative and everything is done to make you feel welcome and at home. There is someone living next door if needed 🌺

Peaceful setting on quiet road surrounded by small farms with easy access to local swimming spots. Kitchen had everything you might need to cook meals at home, including nice coffee maker. Beds were very comfortable with extra sleeping spaces for a large family or holiday gathering with friends. Host is responsive and accommodating, will rent again if on island.

Anna and her family's house is such a wonderful place, we absolutely loved it from start to end! The house is really welcoming and cozy and Anna's generous, uncomplicated and caring attitude made us feel very comfortable during our stay. The large garden is protecting the house very well and had a magical atmosphere with its beautiful shining autumn colors. The magic definitely doesn't stop there though...Storsudret is one of Gotland's very best parts, there are so many incredibly beatiful places all around - particularly everywhere along the coast. We cycled and walked and cycled and walked and...cannot wait to return for more at some point! A fantastic experience, thank you from heart!

We spent two weeks here and are so happy with our stay. There are so many pluses with this accommodation! Some things we appreciated extra much were how fresh and cozy it was, the pool, the number of sleeping places and the number of social areas. You could be the majority of adults and children, but still be a little "separate" thanks to the guesthouses and the basement. We went with our one-year-old and experienced this as a very child-friendly accommodation, extra plus that there was a laundry room. Also very dog-friendly. The house was close to everything wonderful Fårö has to offer, and at the same time in a peaceful, beautiful environment, with a private feel. All contact with the host couple went super smoothly. I highly recommend this accommodation and we will gladly return! :)
