Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

Beautiful basement apartment with direct access to the lake. This apartment is perfect in summer and winter to unwind for a few days. On warm days, Lake Plauer invites you to swim. Afterwards, extensive walks on various hiking trails are possible. Plau city center is within walking distance in 15 minutes. There you will find numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. It sleeps max. 5 people, better with upto 4. 1 bedroom with queen-bed , 1 bathroom with toilette + shower 1 livingroom with 2 daybeds as well as kitchenette with freezer, electric cooker, toaster, waterboiler, coffeemachine, satellite-TV, radio. Pets are allowed in this appartment. We will charge 35.00 Euro for special cleaning (usually paid via airbnb).

The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.
