Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

Incredible stay and Bernardino and his family were incredibly welcoming and pleasant. They helped us check in later and were there to help us with any questions we had. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful Tuscan retreat.

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

We stayed 5 amazing days at Il Gufo and loved every minute. Jacopo is an amazing host and went out of his way throughout to make our stay great. Even meeting us locally and showing us the way to the house. We highly recommend staying at The Owl. The location, high in a valley provides spectacular views and is perfect to relax and unwind. We do not know what was better. The location, accommodations or the fact that we met Jacopo and became immediate friends. That combination made for the greatest memories. Also Luba, their beautiful dog, immediately loved us and greeted us ever time we returned. A little secret, he is an amazing chef and if you get a chance to go to his restaurant do it. Also his dinner recommendations were great. We had dinner at Corte Dei Frati 2 times. Thank you Jacopo for making our 30th Anniversary trip so amazing. We feel privileged to have met you and we will return on our next trip to Italy. You are an amazing person and host. Love Steve & Vicki

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem absolut niedlichen Haus, das inmitten atemberaubender Natur liegt. Die Ruhe ist einzigartig – man hört nur das Zwitschern der Vögel, und hin und wieder zeigen sich Rehe am Waldrand. Einfach magisch! Der Pool war top gepflegt und man hatte richtig Ruhe. Ein echtes Highlight war für uns die Küche: So liebevoll eingerichtet und außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet – das haben wir so noch nie erlebt! Der Gasherd und der hochwertige Backofen haben das Kochen zu einem Vergnügen gemacht. Gastgeber Diego war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich bei ihm sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ein perfekter Rückzugsort für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und liebevolle Details zu schätzen wissen.

Valeria und Simone haben eine super schöne und saubere Wohnung! Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet einen super Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir immer gute Tipps und Ratschläge von den beiden bekommen. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt und da das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist, konnte er sich frei bewegen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war eine unglaublich schöne Zeit!

Since it was our first time visiting Tuscany, we preferred to use public transportation. When we mentioned this to Natasha, she kindly offered to pick us up from a certain point with her own car — a very thoughtful gesture. Throughout our stay, Nikko was incredibly helpful. He even took us to the market with his car and gave us advice on what we could buy. The pool was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. However, we strongly recommend not visiting without a car. Since we didn’t have one, Nikko kindly dropped us off at the bus stop of our choice in the morning, which was another generous and considerate act. We are truly grateful to him. We loved our stay in this beautiful vacation home, perfectly located in the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Sandra is a very attentive host, she was always available for any questions and proactively communicated making the check in process very easy. The house is well appointed. I would like to point out though that only one of the bedrooms has total privacy as the other two bedrooms can only be closed off by a curtain. This contributed to its charm as a lot of the old features of the house were preserved, and wasn't a problem for us. We definitely would come back. Thank you Sandra.

A wonderful peaceful place in Tuscany. Spent most of our evenings out on the balcony, admiring the beautiful view. Home was well appointed and comfortable inside, and the host was very responsive to any questions or issues. Radda was also lovely, with good food, wine and a local tap room with interesting options! Would strongly recommend a stay here.

Such a wonderful gem of a place to stay. Views were top notch and all within walking to our favorite dinner restaurants and town center. Just an amazing experience and location. Rossana was a great host- very communicative. She decorated her place with really nice special touches. We will return!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful accommodation in Tuscany. The views are stunning, and the property includes a small, fenced garden, which was perfect for our dog. There's also a large pool available to all guests, which was a huge plus. Having a car is a must. The location is ideal for visiting local spots like Siena, San Gimignano, and Val d’Orcia. The host provides a fantastic guidebook with recommendations, and we were never disappointed by any of the places he suggested. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we enjoyed relaxing dinners in the garden under the lights. Overall, it's a cozy and comfortable place, perfect for a Tuscan vacation

Great location only 2 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Accommodation is airy and well equipped with its own lovely garden giving you a great place to relax so close to the centre. Francesca was always available and made us feel very welcome. Have already recommended this property to our friends.

Alessio's takes good pride in the restoration of this gem and it shows. Tasteful restoration and great attention to details. Great way to fit modern comforts into historic building. if you want to live a walking distance away from Piazza, in impeccably clean setting and responsive host, I recommend this one for you.

Soggiornare da Virginia e la sua famiglia è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa che porterò nel cuore. L’alloggio è immerso nella splendida campagna senese. La casa è curata in ogni dettaglio, pulitissima, accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario per sentirsi a casa, con quel tocco rustico e autentico che rende l’atmosfera davvero speciale. Gentili, disponibili e sempre pronti a offrire consigli sui luoghi da visitare, ristoranti tipici e attività nei dintorni. Il silenzio e la tranquillità del luogo permettono di rilassarsi completamente, ma allo stesso tempo la posizione è strategica per visitare Siena, la Val d’Orcia e tanti altri borghi incantevoli della Toscana. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un soggiorno autentico, a contatto con la natura e la vera ospitalità toscana.

The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. Cercavo un luogo tranquillo per poter visitare i dintorni e la sera riposare, il posto è eccezionale e offre un panorama stupendo. I proprietari sono molto amichevoli e simpatici e hanno reso il soggiorno qualcosa di speciale, grazie di tutto.

Place was as described. The house was in pristine condition when we check in. Nested in a quite and peaceful countryside, it was exactly what we wanted. Parking was just a few meters from the main door. Host Patrizia was very friendly and responded to my questions promptly. Her check in instructions were clear and we found the place easily. A short drive from local attractions and wineries, it is a good launch point to tour the region.

Stella nos recebeu muito bem, foi simpática e prestativa. A casa estava muito limpa e organizada. O espaço e aconchegante. O lugar é extraordinário, muito bonito, com natureza exuberante e uma vista maravilhosa. Stella recomendou lugares para visitar e restaurantes da região que gostamos muito. Somente elogios, nenhuma reclamação.

Onwijs fijn appartement dat goed koel blijft tijdens warme dagen. Uitzicht vanaf het prive terras was adembenemend en het appartement was smetteloos schoon. Alles behalve een weegschaal om de koffer te wegen was aanwezig, echter die was binnen een half uur geleend van de ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaresse (die overigens olijfolie en honing van eigen kweek aanbiedt).

Ein Toskanischer Traum. An manchen Tagen musste ich mich kneifen um zu begreifen das ich nicht in einem Film bin. Meine Freundin und ich haben eine wunderbare Zeit in der Region und auch im Haus gehabt. Es war sauber und ordentlich. Die Küche war einzigartig und wir haben gerne auch draußen gegrillt. Wir haben es einfach genossen und uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Endlich mal Entspannung und Ruhe, die man nur noch selten erlebt. Vielen Dank für das Vertrauen über dieses wunderbare Stückchen Toskana. Für alle Ruhe suchenden oder Menschen die wirklich erleben wollen was Toskanischer Flair bedeutet ein Pflichtziel. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
