Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The cottage is approx. 84 m2 with two rooms and with a large terrace around the house to the east, south and west (approx. 170 m2), playhouse, trampoline and an annex of approx. 10 m2. There are sleeping places for about 6 people. To complete the cottage atmosphere, the house's bathing facilities are installed "outdoors" - private, covered and hot/cold water (see pictures)
