Located only 600 meters from Vimmerby Camping where there is both a swimming area, playground, mini golf, restaurant and unmanned shop. To Vimmerby center where shops, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy and playland are located it is about 5 km and to Astrid Lindgren's World as well as Astrid Lindgren's Näs it is about 6 km.

You will be close to everything when you live in this centrally located home with forest and exercise tracks around the corner. If you are lucky, the deer will visit. The garden may be used. Walkway to ALV 35 min, city center 15 min. 4 min drive to swimming lake, 5 min to lekland and cross museum. Riding facility, golf, bowling, football field, tennis and playground in the nearby area. There may be other summer guests in the big house but nothing we know yet. You always have your own entrance, parking and patio

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the middle of central Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but individually and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgrens World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a small child as there is a crib. Alternatively 4 adults. Sleeps and towels are not included. The tenant cleans before check-out.

An incredibly large and beautiful apartment, with a super nice bathroom, large and well-equipped kitchen. The apartment even has a pool table, 2 seating areas and a dining table that matched the number of people. We were 4 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space, both in bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen. I have stayed in a hotel room, etc. with overall less space than there is in the bathroom, which is more like a ballroom, with a 2-person jacuzzi, a delicious shower niche and even a large sauna. Frida is very helpful, thoughtful and kind. Absolutely recommended for a trip with the family in Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's world.

This is a very nice place. The pictures don't really do it justice. It is very secluded, so you can really find peace if you seek it. Nature is beautiful. You can enjoy the birdsong and see many birds of prey circling over the lake. Henrik is very helpful and easy to get hold of, so we never missed anything.

Approximately 10 minutes into Astrid Lindgren's World. Incredibly calm and harmonious surroundings a good bit out in the woods. The birdsong was lovely. The horse pasture with two fine horses could be seen in all directions except one, where the road and the neighboring house lay. Spacious covered balcony, overlooking the garden. Plenty of puzzles and outdoor toys for the kids. And more. We did not have time to spend as much time in the cottage as desired, due to a full schedule, but it was well-equipped, well-cleaned and in good condition. With everything we could possibly need.

Really sweet host. We were told the most important things upon arrival and then we could just feel at home. ☀️ Mikaela was quick to respond if we had a question. 🧐 Lovely place in the countryside with horses, dog, cat and chickens. 🐓🐈‍⬛🐕🐎 There's a lot of kitchen stuff if you want to cook your own food. 🍳 The place is perfect if you are visiting Astrid Lindgren's world and childhood home, because it is only 10 minutes away. 🚗 5 stars from here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The most wonderful weekend in Anki and Ingvar's little paradise. We enjoyed two nights in a private glamping tent with lake view and all the facilities you could wish for such a trip. A trip to their lovely little sauna was the icing on the cake. Anki also made the most delicious breakfast and pizza kit, to make pizza yourself. In addition, there are many beautiful lakes and nature in the area, which we also had the opportunity to explore. Last but not least, Anki and Ingvar were sweet and welcoming and very helpful no matter what questions or shortcomings you had. We will definitely be back!!
