Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Grand Haven Township

House was beautiful and perfectly set up for accommodating a larger group. The pool, hot tub, and games were all well maintained and a ton of fun! The wooded backyard and tall fences make it feel like you have no neighbors at all, making for a very peaceful setting. Meghan was very helpful, responsive, and kind. We highly recommend both property and host!

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

We really enjoyed our time at Mary's little cottage! The place was small but perfect for what we needed it for. It was also VERY clean, which I really appreciate when traveling. Also, the location was perfect. It was close to the water and about a 10 minute drive to downtown Grand Haven. The location was perfect, because we could go back to someplace quiet and cozy, while also being near a buzy place like Grand Haven. I would recommend staying at Mary's cottage!

I stayed Thurs–Sun and couldn’t have asked for a better solo retreat. I run a wellness business and needed a change of scenery to rest, reflect, and reset. This space delivered all that and more. The home is spotless, everything thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate pantry, which made it easy to cook all my meals. The soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors, and screened patio created the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe. I never even went to the beach, between the peaceful yard, woodland trail, and hot tub, I didn’t want to leave. My dog loved it too. Johnny and Michelle were responsive and kind, quick to help with a Wi-Fi question, then gave me space to unwind. Favorite moments: morning runs on Lake Shore Dr, sunset cocktail walks to Sundown Park, chill music on the Bluetooth speaker, and lunch at Penny Royal (the veggie sando = 10/10). If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated stay that feels like a proper reset, this is it. I’ll be back with friends!!

We had a great stay! Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The backyard is beautiful and provides plenty of locations to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. Everything we needed was provided even coffee pods for the Keurig. The homemade muffins were a special touch and were absolutely to die for. Would definitely recommend staying at this location to anyone.

This was such a beautiful home/property and truly has something for everyone. The house itself is very quaint and has cozy boho, mid-century modern vibes. The retro vibes continue with the array of available arcade games and Playatation 1 system available for play. The interior aesthetic and amenities made us feel comfortable and at home during our time indoors. The outdoor space is also exceptional with a large backyard, deck, firepit, and hammock. We even had deer visit on our stay. The property is dog-friendly and felt very private and peaceful but is still close to restaurants and other entertainment. The house was very clean upon arrival and Katie was kind and helpful with check-in. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, peaceful, quiet, clean and private setting. We enjoyed our stay so much, felt right at home. Well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Me, my husband, two boys and our dog had a wonderful stay. Hot tub was so nice, the game room was awesome for my boys. Brian was a great host. This has topped our list of stays. Would love to come back and stay again sometime.

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

We loved our stay! The house is as described in the listing and was very comfortable with amazing decor. Super close to lots of great restaurants.

It was a great location and a very nice 2 bedroom unit with a lot of attention to detail. Examples are toiletries, spices and coffee that was really nice as we checked in later in day.

The apartment was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the surrounding was so quiet and peaceful. Gary was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a great time staying there and would definitely come back again!

The unit has everything you will need. There’s definitely thought put into the set up for the guest. My 16 year old son liked that she put a bag of popcorn out with a couple candies. He said the temp was great and he liked how she has an extra charger block there.

Lovely little upstairs apartment, much warmer to come home to after a day full of meetings than a hotel.

The apartment is in a great location and has everything you would need. As the description states it is an older home with lots of charm and is surprisingly spacious. Our family of 2 adults and 2 young children loved exploring the area and having this as a launch pad for our stay. Wesley was very responsive and flexible when we needed a little extra time to check out and had offered an early check in too. I don't doubt if we mentioned anything else that we needed or were concerned about that it would have been taken care of.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay at Jodi's cabin. It felt like home away from home. The cabin and bunkhouse were cozy and fit our big family perfectly. The layout of the property with the fire pit/grill area, chairs, and hammock being located between the cabin and bunkhouse made for a perfectly private setting. There was never a dull moment for the entire family - kayaking, paddle boading, pedal boating, fishing (we rented a pontoon from John Kozicki Pontoon Rental), swimming, games, bonfires and sunbathing. It was exactly what we needed to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Jodi is a wonderful host and was responsive and friendly throughout the entire process. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was well-stocked with necessities and plenty of towels. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the master bedroom has an amazing view of the river. Not one complaint was heard during our stay, and we cannot wait for our next visit!

Cabin is off the rode makes it nice for those who want to get away. Matt a fellow fishermen a big plus . I would book again in a hart beat.

Lance was very accommodating and let us check in 4 hours early ::) there’s no public beach access but it was nice to have the water in sight from the cabin across the street.

Than & Lisa are amazing hosts. The cabin more than suits the needs for anyone looking to go off the grid and find all the peace and quiet that exists on the property and surrounding nature. Speaking of nature, it’s a stone throw from Manistee National Forest and the North Country Trail (Hiking trail running from Vermont to North Dakota) if you’re into that type of thing. If not, there is plenty to offer even the infrequent outdoorsy person something to gravitate to. Be mindful of the lack of internet (cellphone) service…but that’s the point right?!?!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and clean. We loved the hot tub and peacefulness of the backyard. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were close to everything we wanted to do in and around Saugatuck. One thing to note is how close this rental is to the road. It was not an issue for us but I would want to be aware of I was bringing young kids with me. Thank you for a lovely stay!

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!

You can tell someone put allot of love into creating this beautiful space. It was a treat to stay hear. great location

This is the second time I’ve stayed at “cabin in the woods.” I’m amazed by everything! From The host, to the beautiful cabin the host built himself!!! Such a beautiful scenery. If you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway, I highly recommend.
