Cabin holiday rentals in Grand Marais

Beautiful location, quiet can see so many stars at night. We went in the Spring as we wanted to visit state parks in northern Wisconsin. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

This was our first time staying here. It was very private with a beautiful view and a peek of Shagawa Lake through the treetops on the front side of the cabin - the top to bottom windows making it easy to see the nighttime sky. It was beautiful! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The king size bed and linens were very comfortable as well. The place was very clean. We would absolutely stay again.

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

This Airbnb was a perfect place for a larger group due to the spacious and well planned space. Everything was high quality and felt built to last, which seems rarer and rarer nowadays. We used the pool/hot tub and pickleball facilities. Pool+hot tub were a nice size and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the pickleball but the paddles did seem aged. It would be nice for the resort group to implement self check in for the ease of the guests but Crystal at the front desk was a friendly face.

The photos don’t do this location justice! The accommodations were top notch, and Jeanne makes you feel like family! Worth every penny! Will be back again to show more friends and family this amazing place!

This is a great little cabin located in a very private area. It was winter, so we weren't able to enjoy the net hammock but we wanted to :-) The circular staircase to the lower level (where the second bedroom and third bed are) is very tight. Our suitcases were small enough to get down there, but we would have struggled if they were bigger. I also missed the fact there wasn't a dishwasher. Luckily my sons were put to work.

Place is easy to find and really peaceful! The hot tub is really nice also.

We had an awesome time. Beautiful views everywhere. Perfect for us and our family with grandkids. Swimming, jacuzzi, boat dock, a.c. and comforts, kayaks and floats for kids was super nice!!! Loved the outside deck for grilling and eating and relaxing. This place is well equipped. Great job Chad and crew! Kitchen was so well stocked that we didn't need to bring half as much as we did for spices and kitchen amenities. We loved our time and was sad it was over so soon. Close to town made it really nice. Added awesomeness was that we also had great weather! Garage was really convenient to reload and pack our boat on last day when raining. Can't think of a thing we didn't love.

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

Very cozy cabin directly across from Lake Superior. It was tastefully decorated with a “lake cabin” theme. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, & squeaky clean kitchen and bathroom.

Beautiful cabin! So comfy and relaxing. We loved being able to bring our fur babies with us. The view was wonderful too! This cabin will be a special place for us, we got engaged during our stay ❤️

This is our second year visiting the sweet gunflint gem. We adore Chad and Megan’s Norse Hus and highly recommend it to travelers who are looking for a serene and nature filled stay. We use this cabin as a jumping off point for all kinds of adventures- hiking, canoeing and fishing! Highly recommend taking time to unplug and take advantage of the stunning cabin they’ve curated in the woods

I can’t recommend Loon Lake Lodge enough! Beautiful, perfect cabin out of a dream! The view from the cabin is amazing, we had so much fun canoeing, paddle boarding, and fishing off the docks. Andrea was so kind to recommend a few hikes for us and they were incredible. There is no better way to start your day than a sauna and a plunge in Loon Lake. Absolutely loved it

Cathy’s communication was top notch. The tip to the secret waterfall was appreciated, along with the binder of other useful info.

Beautiful lake view and a great stay overall. Check-in was easy, and Luke was very responsive and accommodating. The home was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We enjoyed the bonfire, cozy fireplaces, and appreciated the baby gates for safety. The older kids loved exploring by the lake. Would definitely stay again!

We LOVED everything about honeymooning here. This little cabin was so thoughtfully appointed- from the cute little maple syrup bottle to the cast iron coffee grinder and the unbelievably comfortable mattress - everything you could want for a cozy stay on the shores of Lake Superior. Will absolutely be returning time and again.

Gorgeous cabin in a great spot!

This place was amazing! The view was unbeatable. We happened to hit it during peak Fall colors and during a local studio art tour- what a treat! Lots of parks and hikes around! Sunrise!!!! Restaurants are plentiful in Grand Marais. The shower situation and outhouse was a little less adjustment, but we made it all work and it definitely wouldn't keep us from coming back! In a sweet way the privative living made us appreciate our lives more and added to the experience! This place is just perfect. Plan to carry your trash out! What a treat!

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my girlfriend and I. The space was exactly what we were looking for. Very cozy and romantic. We hope to come back again soon! Thanks Roseanne!!

Another amazing stay at Into the Woods! This was our second time staying here and the property was even better this time around! They added a very nice fire pit and seating area in the backyard, complete with excellent lighting. Danielle and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and made such an effort to ensure we had the perfect visit. If you're thinking about booking this cabin, don't hesitate! We will definitely be back again.

Maren and Derrick were fantastic hosts. Our stay at Fyrre cabin was an absolute perfect escape! From the moment we booked, Maren was extremely welcoming, courteous, and responsive, making communication a breeze. Any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly, which made us feel welcome and cared for. As for the cabin itself, it was fantastic! The atmosphere was awesome. We were looking for an escape from the world, and this cabin delivered that and so much more. The quiet surroundings allowed us to truly unwind and recharge. Our kids loved it as well, "BEST CABIN EVER!" Thank you, Maren and Derrick, for providing such a wonderful getaway!

This was my second stay at Hart Haven, it was so nice the first time that I knew I wanted to see if it was available for this trip. Emily and Derek are wonderful hosts! The home is always so inviting and homey. Very clean (and I'm a picky person) and they have thought of everything you could need for your stay away from home. So peaceful and relaxing. Great cabin that's cozy, quiet, and dog-friendly! Very comfortable interior with a cozy living room and lots of natural light. In a quiet neighborhood with a great yard and fire pit to enjoy the outdoors. The location is very close to Lake Superior and a convenient drive to Grand Marais. Leah was a great host, very easy to communicate with and accommodating.

Absolutely amazing! We went on a road trip with two friends and spent two nights at Dreamwood. Our goal was to find a secluded place—and this was exactly it. It was a rare and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect: we found ourselves completely alone, surrounded by nature—an ideal setting to disconnect, recharge, and take our time. The cabin is located right in the Porkies, so hiking trails are just a short drive away. There’s also private access to a quiet beach and the views are absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Tom and Sol were lovely and available when needed. We’ll definitely be back!
