Amazing place! Highly recommend. Property is beautiful, easy access to all lake activities, private and quiet, high end amenities, whole experience was perfectly designed down to every last detail. Can't recommend enough and will definitely stay again.

What a unique experience! Had a wonderful 4-5 day stay with 2 teens, 2 adults and a dog. We have the height of elves and the girth of dwarves, so the hobbit-sized space of the stargazer cabin was sometimes a tight squeeze for us, but we settled in and absolutely loved the whimsical touches of the LOTR theme! The dog had a blast too, being able to run all over the large grounds and wear himself out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful experience that also sparks the imagination like being a kid again!

Serene, scenic, and so comfortable! We loved our stay at Trout Creek Cabin, and hope to stay again sometime. On this trip, we managed to dodge some rain for a bike trip in Lanesboro one day, and a hike up to the lookout another day. Otherwise, we indulged in the view, took naps, read books, played games, had long meaningful chats, and realized in the hot tub. We couldn't dictate the weather, but we could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

This was our first time staying here. It was very private with a beautiful view and a peek of Shagawa Lake through the treetops on the front side of the cabin - the top to bottom windows making it easy to see the nighttime sky. It was beautiful! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The king size bed and linens were very comfortable as well. The place was very clean. We would absolutely stay again.

1. Favorite: The beds were super comfy… u will get a great night sleep any of the 4 beds that are here… we all loved it. The beds were amazing.. High-lights: 2. Good time snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. 3. Relaxing in the hot tub at 10pm, 20° outside with many stars in the sky…

Our family had a great stay at Katherine’s cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful—just what we needed. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Garrett’s cabin was everything we were looking for! We wanted a place to relax, play games and cook s’mores! We got exactly that as well as being close enough to go into town to check out restaurants, shop and anything else we may have wanted to do. We look forward to our next visit to this wonderful cabin!

We loved our time at Border Point Lodge! The cabin is spectacular and has everything you could possibly want or need. The setting is picturesque - the lake is so peaceful! It was such a great place to relax, spend quality time together as family and make memories. Evan and Annie are amazing hosts! Typically, at the end of our family vacations, we are usually ready to get back home. That was not the case on this trip, none of us wanted to leave. We hope to return again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful place to stay!

Really loved this slice of heaven up in the Northwoods 🌲🩷 beautiful cabin with everything you need and the most serene, picturesque dock to hang on for loon calls, canoeing and fishing from. We absolutely loved our stay - recommend this little gem to anyone looking for an amazing Ely experience!

The cabin was perfect!! Quiet, peaceful surroundings and everything was just as described! They were beyond excellent to communicate with!! I could not have been more pleased!! A beautiful, rustic cabin that's easy to locate and owners who were more than accommodating!! I'd give six stars if I could!!

My stay at The Woodlands was exactly what I was looking for—quiet, cozy, and deeply restorative. The cabin has a peaceful, tucked-away feel that made it easy to unplug and settle into stillness. I spent the weekend journaling, reading, and just breathing, with no pressure to be anywhere but there. While there were tons of trails to hike and stars to gaze, I didn’t venture out much—sometimes the best kind of retreat is the one where you don’t feel the need to do anything at all if your content and coszy staying in. The space itself is thoughtfully laid out and incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of rustic charm and intentional care. I’m so grateful for the chance to stay—it was exactly the reset I needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Babe’s cabin for the long holiday weekend. Perfectly peaceful and close to some cute small towns. We especially enjoyed the sauna and the campfire pit. A very well-appointed cabin with everything you need for a weekend away. Appreciated all the local recommendations too. Would highly recommend checking out the Paul Bunyan Trail (access point in Nisswa) if you have a four-legged family member with you. We hope to be back again! Thanks!

Super sweet cabin cottage! Everything was very clean upon our arrival. The river provides a wonderful setting (caught a fish!). The windows in the primary bedroom were a special feature as you could look right at the river when you woke up. We had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed for more than one night; we'll be back!

The pictures don't really do the place justice. It's super roomy and gorgeous inside. It's in a quiet, more secluded wooded area with plenty of peace and privacy, but it's also really not far at all from all the shops in Brainerd, so it was a really good mix of getaway in the woods but also not far from everything you need. The host was super responsive and courteous. I would definitely stay here again!

Was a great place to stay in between Duluth and Grand Marais. Very clean airbnb!

This is a fabulous, cozy, cute cabin on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the kayaks! Trish was a great host! Will definitely come back.

So peaceful for our family vacation. My son and I fished everyday and kayaked. My wife sat in the beautiful outdoors reading. We had a great time making wonderful memories and enjoying s’mores at the firepit. Would recommend for a quiet, outdoorsy time away. We would definitely return.

Cory’s place was 10/10. Beautifully decorated and furnished, a kitchen with anything you could need for making it a home away from home, comfortable beds, clean. I could go on and on. It really is just the perfect little peaceful oasis. The treehouse is adorable and it’s surrounded by nature: bird sounds in the morning, beautiful trees and other wildlife too! The fully screened in porch was so appreciated as well; we were able to enjoy evenings with cozy lighting and no bugs! Truly one of the best air BNB experiences we’ve had!

Hannah's cabin is really awesome!!! My wife and I stayed here for a few nights. initially, I was a bit concerned about how close the neighboring Airbnb was, but it was super private and we never heard anything out of our neighbors. Highly recommend!! The host was super responsive and the accommodations were excellent! Will be back!

We loved our stay and hope to come back next summer. The cabin was beautiful, just up a short walk from a serene lake. Loved sitting by the fire, listening to the loons, sitting on the dock with a glass of wine, and spending time on the canoe on the lake. The cabin was particularly well appointed with everything we needed and more!

Loved staying here with our two young children. A really well done unit with excellent craftsmanship and detail. Had everything listed and your private little beach. It was a great place to stay and somewhere we would definitely come back to.

We had an amazing weekend at Kent and Paula’s cabin. Beautiful trails and an even more beautiful cabin to cozy up in during the chilly days! Plenty of firewood and towels/linens in case we needed it. LOVED the little bottle of maple syrup, thank you for that!! 10/10 experience, will visit again!

Molly and Phil’s place was beautiful. It was a last minute getaway for my family of four and it was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, and more! Phil was very responsive which was much appreciated. My son enjoyed fishing off the dock, and my daughter loved the paddle board. If you’re looking for a getaway from the busy city life, this is the place to be.
